- The Dynamite DYNE4400 starter box recommends different batteries than what I used. I wanted to use some batteries that I found on Amazon, and assumed that they would fit because 2 of the three recommended batteries for the bump box are the rectangular LiPo style. Maybe I was missing something in the instructions. The mounting plates they sent were to short for mounting the LiPos, even though the LiPos I ordered were the same dimensions as the recommended batteries. WTF
Batteries that are recommended are below
(2) - DYN1060EC Speedpack® 7.2v 2400mAh NiMH 6C Flat: EC3
(2) - DYN9001EC Reaction® 7.4v 4000mAh 2S 20C LiPo Hardcase: EC3
(1) - DYN9006EC Reaction® 11.1v 5000mAh 3S 20C LiPo Hardcase: EC3
The batteries I used
(2) - Zeee 7.4V Lipo Battery 2S 50C 5200mAh Lipos Hard Case with Dean-Style T Connector
The bottom two are the rectangular type like I bought, but for some reason I could not get them to work. They just were not going to mount up.
I decided to just put a floor in the box and velcro the batteries in. I am actually happier with this setup even though it took a bit more time.

It was some light fabrication, and was fun to do. For some reason the adapter setup they sent with the box did not fit the batteries, even though the batteries I used were the same dimensionally. 🤔Either way it works now and I would rather use the velcro instead of the zip ties they suggested. Are the connectors that came with that starter box set up to use two battery packs with the EC3 battery packs

After further investigation. This starter can run 2 2S batteries in series, or one 4S battery just fine.
