Nice work dad! It always amazes me how good your eye is for a photo. I was just thinking how you guys were all over the city when you explained that you was at their high school!!! Yeah, y’all covered some ground that day. Thanks for taking us along!!! The photos were epic!!!
Thanks, David. That School has a lot of History.
Great shots! You had me nervous with those dancing feet around the base of your tripod!
Thank you, I was further away from it than it looked in the video. LOL
Entertaining video, a lovely young couple, and fantastic shots Phil. Great job!
Thank you!
What a fun experience for all of you it was definitely worth the price of admission to see your ‘get your subject to smile’ technique LOL! I’m curious what camera was Heather using to videotape your session it looked like it was no ibis? you got some great shots of the couple especially under the row of trees I love that one. Have you ever thought of trying some of your portraits outdoors with the shoot through umbrella ? I think it would really enhance some of your shots a lot ❤️
The only camera I own with IBIS is the Z6 and it is very rarely used for video. I had Heather using the X-T3 that night with no IBIS and a Non-Stabilized lens. TOTALLY my fault that the video was bouncy. Usually, I have Heather use my Canon EOS M50 which also has no IBIS but the lens we use is stabilized. I think I may have mentioned to you before that we are not going for perfectly steady on this channel but this video was too shaky, I agree. Again, TOTALLY my fault. I have a stabilized lens now for the X-T3 that is being used often for video now. Thought of taking a flash for this shoot, 2 problems. 1. Z6 had bad damage (also my fault) Hotshoe, 2. It was pretty windy and my stands are not up to a windy shoot and I didn't have a third person to hold the flash.
Phil Thach thanks for clarifying I’m trying to figure out video gear for myself so I learn a lot from you!
Great work Phil. Tree perspective shot was my fav 👍🙏
Thank you. Love that location!
Those are some killer 🔥 dance moves you got there Phil!
LOL I'm a total dork. :)
What a wonderful photo shoot!! Loved every shot you took!
Great photos Phil. Special memories made at a beautiful, historic location!
Thank you!
I love watching your channel.. I use the z6 myself. I just bought the tamron 35 f1.4, amazing lens on the z6! probably my new favorite. keep up the videos!
Thank you! That lens sounds really nice!
What a wonderful photo shoot. So may good images, it’s hard to choose a fav. But I really love the shot where you got them to laugh with your jig among the trees. That’s hilarious.
I really need to figure out a better way to get people to smile! LOL
I think I have a small issue with my camera and I think the only way to figure this out is to ask someone who owns one.
I recently received my new Nikon Z6 kit.
It is my first camera (only used my phone until now) and I’m kind of desperate to check it and make sure it does not have any flaws.
I’ve read about firmware updates that Nikon introduced and I noticed that mine came with 3.00
Until now everything seems to be perfect except one small issue with the evf which I don’t know if it’s a feature or a bug 😳
looking through evf and pointing the camera in bright light (sunny sky with white clouds) I can notice something on the evf that appears it is somehow greasy. It is more or less uniformly spread on the entire surface.
I have cleaned it intensively but nothing appears to change. Also the sensor looks cristal clear.
It does not seem to affect the pictures, it is only the evf.
If I look at the picture taken through it and them zoom and move in different directions is even more obvious.
Since it does not appear to mess with my pictures I’m not sure if there is something wrong with it or is the same on other cameras?
I really hope I was clear enough 😔. I find it hard to explain.
nica.rzv I don’t recall that ever happening with mine.
Phil Thach Thank you for your quick reply. I thought it has something to do with that coating that they say it’s applied on it.
This camera looks awesome 🔥🔥
The Z6 is great, highly recommended.
I love your approach to get people to smile dint change. Also I have people say money over saying cheese. It gives a natural looking smile.
Thank you, Money makes me smile more than cheese! :)
Excellent images Phil enjoy your video's look forward to the next one, Thanks from the UK Z50 user :)
Thank you! We have lots of Z50 content coming as well as Z6 and X-T3
Good stuff! TY!
Thank you!
I like the mask photo. They both have great eyes. Are you using the tripod just so you could jump around? lol ;)
I think maybe so! :)
Nice work! Did you learn those dance moves from the Hot for Teacher video? 😂
I got them from a how not to dance video. LOL
@@PhilThach lol...I can't dance myself and never wanted too, dancing is for women on poles...lolol
Thanks for sharing. Nice explanation for me as a noobie photographer 😊
Thank you!
Nice job.
Thank you!
