Really cool video idea. Living in Florida, people wear leather jackets in 97 degree weather. I'm pretty sure a little hair on their face isn't going to bother most of them. The body adapts, even with new variables such as increased hair on the face.
It's true people in my life plus my parents asked in the past if I was gonna shave before the summer but never happens. The Beard Baron is right about having a good mustache I about never had cracked/chapped lips in years except for cold sores. All year around beard for me
It's such a misconception that shaving will keep you cooler in the summer than a beard! I am glad you agree that your mustache also provides such protection!
The biggest problem for me with a bigger mustache is trying to eat. I'm constantly checking on it with my food. I've been asked multiple times if I get too hot with my beard in the summer. I find I'm cooler since I don't have sweat running down my chin, which is extremely annoying.
This is B.S. on so many levels. I started growing last year as soon as the summer was over, knowing at this point I would be hot, sweaty, itchy and miserable, but also too emotionally attached and committed to let it go.
Millions of middle eastern men living in one of the hottest regions on earth have traditionally worn beards for thousands of years, but yes you and your air conditioned condo know way better, thank you for your insight.
