One of my favourite details from Rook's Rest is Sunfyre catching fire on his wings, the exact opposite of when Vhagar spits fire and Caraxes goes through it snd Meleys in the fight goes through it too and they both come out unscathed. While Sunfyre, a younger dragon than the older dragons doesn't have the.. i guess the immunity to stand hotter fire from someone as ancient as Vhagar. I really loved that detail. Another one is Sunfyre's boiling blood melting the soldiers. Such a perfect shot. It made the scene that much more intense.
It also seems that he kind of... explodes when he fall to the ground ? But Meleys also does. As if the fire within them just burst at the contact and makes the dragons explode. Which was also an interesting detail about the dragons !
It’s because of the scales since meleys, caraxes and vhagar are the oldest not even syrax would have that problem cause she isn’t a young dragon either it’s because the fire and heat hardeneds their scales over time they become immune to other dragon fire unless you are a young baby dragon like sunfyre. Their scales become very strong and hardened that arrows just bounce off them unless they get a lucky scorpion shot in.
It's like there was just a glimpse of dragons in some episodes, except one. They need to stop trying to fill screen time with lesbian relationships and people sucking raynera's ass, and give us more dragons. Hell the last episode of s2 just kept showing some chick running around the mountains of the vale, only to give us a 1 second flash of sheepstealer. Fuckin retarded....
So comparing game of thrones drogon on the rock after the fight with the Lannister’s fight to Syrax here. I can tell that drogon is definitely bigger than Syrax holy shit
In fairness, he didn’t know another dragon was going to be there until he was already there. Criston and Aemond never told him the details of their plan - that they planned to draw a dragon out.
The older the dragon the hotter their flame and the more resilient their scales. So younger dragons are more vulnerable to older dragon flame. Dragons are not immune to fire just very resilient to it. On a scale from younger to older. Sunfyre was already wounded and he took a direct hit from Vhagar who is 160 years older and much larger. Their wings are especially susceptible as they’re flexible membrane as opposed to hard scales, which further harden with age.
Raynese is committing stolen valor, taking maylese's battle experience as her own. Off to battle again? Raynese has never been in battle. Unless she is talking about the time she killed hundreds of innocent people just so she could give a smug look to the greens

@@chloevroman4876I understood that to mean they got the wind knocked out of them but it’s fire, because dragons are fire…like a giant flammable burp.
this is basically what i remember about hosue of dragon.. just the dragons
The best parts
The dragons are the only part I want to remember about House of the Dragon
Me too

I love how it takes only a second for other dragons to fly over people, but Vhagar is so huge that it takes several seconds. Holy crap.
Meleys and Sunfyre are such good dragons to their riders. I’m sad all that happened to them.
Every Dragon has a unique roar, i love that.
I hope Sunfyre is not dead on the show. That would be the most unnecessary deviation from the books.
They really did a good job translating from the books w sunfyre
And syrax
Too
I wonder if they will just to save money on the VFXs of another Dragon since you’d assume they’re feature more Vermithor, Silverwing and Seasmoke
But how would they bring back Sunfyre?
Wow we didn’t even get 15 mins of dragons
Friend, do you think making dragons costs your salary?
You can tell they cut a good chunk of content in this video there was clearly more than 15 minutes worth of dragons in season 2

The truth is that throughout the season it was like 25 minutes, but in the video they cut it quite a bit.
The reason what we watch this show… dragons.
Meleys 💕

Sunfyre's cries are so horribly sad, why did Aegon have to bring him into battle against Meleys!?
He *was* drunk
@@agentmothmanedits and he permanently injured his dragon because of it, no excuse >:(
@@CondolWalking lesson to why you should never drink

moondancer and vermax
Moondancer and vermax
Syrax and Seasmoke. you can hear their sound
Thanks 🙏
these beautiful creatures are died one by one :(
vhagar's best scene was cut
Why r the dragons dying by fire. Remember Dannys says it..Fire can not kill a dragon. Im so confused by this
