Hi Terri and Lol, Have a wonderful Sunday!!! The wife of a guy that is helping with the renovation on the house here was collecting nettle here yesterday... They are coming from Albania , they know a little about plants, knowledge passed from generation to generation!!!! I am so grateful to find you on the web... Blessings!!! Thank you Lol for your filming , I usually can not stand the moving camera; but, you are doing a marvelous job because I do not get dizzy!!! Blessings and more blessings!!!!
Hello to you both, lovely day indeed , so much to do and see, always a pleasure to watch your videos learning as I watch. Thank you. Hugs and Blessings 💚🌹
Today I heard a Native American woman, a basket weaver, say "Baskets are plants", and "Baskets are living things"! I've long since often said "Wood is trees". Every timber in a house, and every piece of wooden furniture was once a tree!!! 💚 🌳🌿🌲🌿🌳🌲🌿❕️
You've had gorgeous weather and lasting. I'm so happy for you. You have an entire chemist in your door yard! It's simple and beautiful Terri. It's always so good to spend a few with you... thank you!
Danu, you look as beautiful and stunning as your garden. The love and reverence that you have for your garden and plants is very touching, so grateful and appreciative of everything you do.
Dear Terri, you always add tips that we might otherwise not know. I don't discard leaves with small creature damage, but I was surprised to learn about the plants extra healthy immune system. I also appreciated the bit on making our own drying racks. Many Green blessings and love to your family and furry boys as always 💜🌱💜
my gran always told me to never use dried plant when making medicine. Only tea. She used to say it was a waste of time, energy, and plant matter- for less than half of the medicinal properties. that being said, I absolutely love your channel. Such beautiful gardens!
This Lady has a Lifetime of Wisdom regarding Medicinal Plants! It's Great she is Sharing her Knowledge so Well by making these Videos for the World! Thank you Danu..
I absolutely love your videos, and all the wisdom that you are willing to share! You have really inspired me to green the desert where I live for the Mother, and to continue learning more about herbs. I have always loved them, and feel drawn to get more serious about it. Thank you for all that you do and share!❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for my garden fix this week. I went out in my yard and gathered and cleaned up all I could within 20 minutes .. it’s not our time yet to harvest much and it’s been cooler that usual…..without much sun here on the mountain there is only so many things I can grown….and at my age not much hope of having such a marvelous garden such of yours…sometimes watching you in yours I feel like your “old” Nettle 🙁 😂 Still I try to grow what I can… sadly my Mullein didn’t take so well the last 2 years…so this year I’m trying some more shade tolerant plants & focus on what I can. Nonetheless Nothing better than sharing my life with the Plant world. Have a great week Terri!
Good Sunday morning to you, from Texas! Is there any way I can get some Mullein seeds from you? I use it, daily, and would LOVE to have it growing in my space! One of my neighbor's cats has a horrible red rash, and she was panthing. I harvested some of my broad- leaf plantain, and told her how to make a tea, to pour on the poor critter. I don't know if it worked for her, yet. I hope so. I have learned so much from you! I keep you lifted, in my prayers. I am so very grateful for your service to mankind! Peace
Hope they use the Plantain for the cat. Send me an email and I will try and save some Mullein seeds for you. I have a half dozen plants so seeds should not be a problem. xx
Lovely day in the garden.. I'm sitting in my tiny house staying out of the rain enjoying your video. Recently I had to remove alot of milk thistle so I dug out the roots washed them and placed in paper bag.. I'll look back in your videos to learn how to use the roots. 👍💕🤠
@@DanusIrishHerbGarden thank you so much. I have and they smell wonderful! I am going to add some herbs to it for iced tea when it is all dried up. Yaaaassss😀😀⭐️
I love watching your video's. I sustained a chemical brain injury and I'm trying to heal on so many levels. Watching your videos distracts me from a myriad of symptoms. I cry because I miss being able to do so many things that i loved. You bring me inspiration. Much love.
Thank you again, Terri and Lol. Nettle is my favourite 'weed'. I've been 'gifted' with a patch of nettle in my garden, for years now. I've already enjoyed a Spring nettle soup, and fresh teas. I truly feel blessed. Namaste, from Canada.
I was just beginning to play someone else's video who I follow in Ireland, but it was so depressing and glum, I had to stop it and my mood immediately enhanced when I switched to your video! Beautiful, happy video. Blessings xx
Good day! Glad to see you this morning. My roses and other plants aren't as far along as yours - be a few more weeks. I can't wait! Very windy here last few days and we need a good soaking rain - hope you are getting those misty mornings I remember from Ireland. Have a great week and look forward to your next Sunday video. Many Blessings
Perfect timing! Have just discovered pretty starflowered chickweed and was pondering the harvesting and drying. Our plantain looks different here in Quebec... shorter and more oval leaves but just as effective. Lovely visit once again. Thank you Terri!
Thank you Terri! Everything looks so beautiful! That space you have for drying is so beautiful, love the tree tapestry. Blessings to you and thanks again for sharing your wisdom.

A beautiful summer day! Your garden is so lush and abundant. I have two rugosa roses and the scent is heavenly. I’m harvesting oregano and thyme and mint today. Your dogs are very joyful running along. Thank you Terri.🐇🇨🇦
I had a small accident last night when I was doing dishes. A large bamboo splinter from a spoon rest in my kitchen went under my thumb nail. OUCH!!I Thankfully, I recently saw lovely plantain growing just outside my garden gate. So even though it was dark, I knew exactly where to go for help. I made a poultice and held it there overnight with a bandage. This morning you can clearly see where the bamboo splinter went in but now it’s gone. I think it came out when I pulled my hand back at the moment of impact. It’s sore but nothing like I might have expected. And the wound looks good. Thank you, Terri.
The sword irises are so lovely. I have the same in my yard but I have to wait some more weeks. Still have frosty nights in my place. The young nettles gave my knees relief, they are so wonderful. Funny I always forget to take my gloves whenever I pick nettles. 😅😊😂 Yes, picking and foraging is not just taking. I learned to ask respectfully when I was small. 🎉 Cheers from 🇧🇻🌲
I've got plantain in my garden and always thought it was a weed - this is so interesting, I love your videos, I've started a herb garden of my own and enjoyed a delicious lemon balm tea today, fresh from the garden :)
Just got a few onion sacks from the local takeaway. Unpicked the stitching and peeled off the label. Will be stretching and tacking over a frame for drying. Will also use for covering vulnerable veg. I also got hold of large mayo buckets, put holes in bottom and planted tomatoes in them. Did a pyramid system with them and it worked well, using little space. The sacks are great for popping over jars with a band if you do mung beans. Just love your channel Terri, we learn and we give for a better life all round 🙏🏻
