Man those blocks weigh a lot I just moved only one in my back yard "ouch"!!!!!!!!!!Stephen and David you two are the best I love the way he watches over Oliver and THE GREEN ARROW!!!best actors on tv, by far!!!!!!thank you for taking time to make this awesomeness video!
Season 1 had something that season 3 doesn't. I don't know what it is but I feel like Arrow has changed and is missing some of the stuff that made it so good in the first place. (not workout scenes lol)
R. Robin Actually I do miss the workout scenes xD They were pretty cool, set him apart from other superheroes showing that he's merely a human who has to continuously train his body.. plus was hoping to see him work out in a actual gym, with weights, dumbbells etc. because I'm into that myself so it would be motivational. BUT oh well.. :P
+R. Robin I get what you mean. It's like comparing a brutal new Batman when there were no other superhero's but now that all the others are around and he's been doing his gig for a few years he's kinda in a flow you know? Which isn't a bad thing since every season we see a new Baddy trying to destroy the city (Season 2, season 1 then season 3 but I'm a action junkie) and usually do stuff that makes us go "HOLY SHIT"
Like I said "mostly," there are those people that if they see a superhero doing pull-ups and push-ups on a show they think it's cool but it's whatever, but if they see weights being lifted somehow they expect super huge weights being lifted so most shows don't show that unless that's the case, and that's my theory as to why they haven't really shown that except for that pulley with cement blocks he had rigged up.
Reminds me of Matt Mudocks routine, only with less acrobatics.i like this series much better than most of the current action shows because of the realism.
I love that the majority of the training in the show is triceps, back, shoulders, and CORE. Core strength is what drives everything else. The salmon ladder is pure core and triceps.
This was the best seasons of arrow. When Arrow was Arrow, and I hope to become him too one day, after all what do I got to loose? Death>? We all die in the end, in god i trust and want to achieve his training be able to fight and be successful and more. M15. Started training pushups, pullups, and squats until i can do like 500 in a day of pushups and like 100+ pullups and 500 squats. Been training for 2yrs consistently besides injuries with bodybuilding/powerbuilding/strength/athleticbodybuiildering all kinds of crap. Basics are best. Too much information online, now im trying to learn new skills hench the training change.
I like this setup a lot better than the current Arrow Cave. Having a super big HQ has always seemed like a Batman thing, and because Flash is kinda a sci-fi show so they have a lab team behind Barry makes sense, too... but why does Arrow need a huge HQ like they do now? Just seems silly.
because he was a rich vigilante and u got to remember before they were all nly 3 members felicity oliver and diggle then now there is like 5 people they needed more space for all the equipment and plus felicity even explained her inner nerd took over and went overboard on all the tech
Man I miss the old Arrow cave. That was some true vigilante shit. As cool as the new cave is it just doesn't fit the character and the show at all. I miss the times of Arrow when it was just Diggel and Oliver in that disgusting Arrow basement. That was awesome. Now its all filled up with Felicitys tech bullshit.
That's the problem right there. Arrow is essentially a man with a bow and arrow and really good fighting skills. He is up against tons of bad guys with big guns. He needs to rely on stealth, tactics, and precision. He needs to keep a low profile so he doesn't draw unnecessary attention to himself or his loved ones, and to avoid complications. But he does the EXACT opposite - he involves all his girlfriends, his bodyguard, his friends, and a bunch of kids from the street, and he becomes the mayor - he cannot possibly be the mayor because he NEEDS TO SLEEP during the day! We spent a great deal of time creating a sense of realism in season 1, only to turn this show into a Saturday morning cartoon in season 3.

Damn, I miss season 1 so much. Good thing I had the chance to watch in almost one viewing. Somehow it was the correct formula and it shouldn't have changed much.
I've just got one thing to say...
*DAYUM.*
+IcomeIviewIcomment Considering his workouts are mostly calisthenics based it's not surprising that they don't show the whole gym thing too much.
I appreciate that, and I saw that video too it was pretty interesting to see him do all that.
"Doing 30 pullups in a row makes you a beast" "doing weight training is for show" - Stephan Amell
In the first clip, that's probably when kipping pull ups are most effective.
Crossfit people are getting wet just looking at Amell. xD
Aaaaaaand so am i. 😂😂😂😂😂
So am I 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Except CrossFit dudes would say that Oliver is weak sauce for wearing gloves while he does muscle ups
He is a very good looking man
@@youtubecommenter37 meanwhile crossfitters cant do pull ups
this is arrow , not this shit we've got now
RIP ARROW :(
My friend: What's this video for?
Me: Distracting me from homework
Reminds me of Matt Mudocks routine, only with less acrobatics.i like this series much better than most of the current action shows because of the realism.
I remember that shit motivated me to start working out. Still doing it nowadays.
I know bro it’s been 2 years and still motivates me
Yo same here
All of his stunts are extremely awesome and perfect. He is so strong and very stunning 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽.
When arrow was such a good show and so different from the travesty it is now .
Totally agree and season 2 was even better,Diggle,Roy and Oliver was the best team, miss those glory times.
Right, Diggle, Ollie and Roy, they would be so good as a team.
Loved when stephen crushed the american ninja warrior course 💪💪💪 Absolutely savage!!! 💪💪
3:13 how is he gonna reach the bar again?
He doesn’t need the pole to work out, the pole needs him to work out
Tempest Rex yup
I love that the majority of the training in the show is triceps, back, shoulders, and CORE. Core strength is what drives everything else. The salmon ladder is pure core and triceps.
I miss when the Arrowverse was still semi-realistic and dark like this. Now, i can’t take it seriously.
I have watched all of your seasons three times each
This was the best seasons of arrow.
6:58
"So that the reason for all the cardio"😂😂😂
0:28 *If I do that in my home my mom will kill me before I fight anyone LMAO*
Watching this again and watching Oliver train his daughter from the future 8 years later... Man time flew by fast for this show
I watch this every time before my workout LOL💯💪
I just realized how amazing his narration made the show.
It’s no wonder there in such great shape doing all the work outs!
6:53- when all the hard training you did saves your life
I like this setup a lot better than the current Arrow Cave.
+Mike A still think they don't need more equipment. They just add it all to make all the trash Felicity hacking scenes more lighted
+itszaaaamzeh lol true I hate her so much green arrow is better of with just him and diggle not 4 sidekicks.
Stephen would kill the American Ninja Warrior course!
He would but he has a rough schedule.
He did to raise money for red nose day
yeah, he did
im from future to tell you... He absolutely did
"Absolutely!..... but not today."
best season ever. fight immersion etc
Amell should definitely sign up for american ninja warrior.
Patrick Bateman done:)
He did, look it up
these two guys Arte in killer shape. n they give it everything . props
Watching these scenes inspired me to start training hard again
this makes me so happy
6:20 look of Felicity is so adorable.
This is a real inspiring video! Thanks Stephen!
Ahhhhh five years. Yet again it has to be mentioned
i knw ive already watch this
but amell is my idol
i was a 95 but now im a 66
because of this :) i use to be a fat guy..every time i work out

Scott Adkins is awesome and you should feel awesome. Undisputed is kickass.
3:39 Summer Slam Training for Stardust.
Thankyou, Stephen Amell and everyone at Arrow!
This show changed me
He’s truly the strongest super hero.
@Shawn Kuhn no even in the show...
I love your show and you are so cute i watched all the seasons of the arrow you are the best keep doing what you are doing
The people who disliked the video have failed this city
I think arrow is among the best if not the best super hero show I’ve ever seen.
feels like they're just milking the fact that the actor who plays green arrow also happens to know calisthenics
I love this series, I'm a huge fan, I'm French, and I'm really excited that the largest chain of French TV pass this show! anyway thank you, Stephen you are a super actor, and others too, it's a pleasure to see your physical performences course, would be blind not to appreciate, but especially your performance of players who can get into the skin of a different oliver, depending on the situation! Congratulations to the entire team
everyday is upper body day
This is what made me start to work out! I really wish season six will be this inspiring!
