- Here's Stephen Amell's workout routine for Arrow! Stephen Amell went hard with his workouts to prepare his body for his role in Arrow! Stephen Amell takes his workouts very seriously and it shows! Stephen is equal parts, actor and athlete. He did most of his own stuns for Arrow and looked jacked while doing it! In this video, I'll be sharing everything you need to know about Stephen Amell's training for Arrow! @@ParisDemers I mean he was super lean for the pilot, but even for later episodes in the first season (which were shot months after filming the pilot) he looked a little less so (but still really lean). By season 3 onward he really started putting on more weight and appeared bulkier and less lean as you can see in season 5 and 7 and now on his new show "Heels". In the interviews you watched, often times he stated that he did more body weight exercices and wasn't a fan of weightlifting but for the last few years he definitely started lifting a bit more.

He definitely looked great in Season 1. He didn't quite keep that physique throughout.. understandably so, but I wish it would have been possible because he was a beast in that first season.
Arrow season 1 is very good, but season 2 is great, and DeathStroke is very well done. Of course there is some drama and not 100% comic accurate, but regardless, those are 2 great seasons.

I would just find an active hobby to do! Rock climbing, hiking, biking, a sport ect! Something that will keep you active and moving! Then do it once or twice a week!

Do some endurance training. Hit the bag, do some jump rope and box jumps.
Arrow physique seems so natural and achievable, compared to other superheroes like Thor or Superman

Yeah, that guy is awesome! The only lil thing about that show Luke Cage, my hubby and I loved it, but it.Mike has such a deep voice, when he spoke we'd have to blast up the volume! Lol! Hey, I'm gonna start going to gym again after a long break. I train calisthenics and some tricking with weight training.
Is it okay if I train twice, like in morning I do pull-ups, rings etc and evening I do proper back workout with weights.
Same for chest push-ups, and planche workouts, some ring training and evening full CST.
Do you think that'll help me get into my skills and muscle both at the same time?
I would take some time to ramp up to that! It's easy to hurt yourself if you take a long break and then go full out right away when you get back into the gym!

There is no doubt SA has done a lot of upper bodywork. His lack of calf muscles tells me he hasn't spent a lot of time standing on the balls of his feet. The chicken leg look is a telltale sign.
What chicken legs lol ? Look at his recent IG posts, the guy is constantly on his feet for work, runs a lot and more in addition to leg workouts.
SA does parkour stunts though so he definitely has good legs.
