You forgot the scene where Homer buys Lisa a pony and puts it in bed next to her and she wakes up screaming when she sees it. It’s a parody of the scene in The Godfather when they put a severed horse’s head in the bed of one of their enemies.
You sir, is easily impressed like Homer. They made a parody of the godfather part 1 and naming the kid Michael. He also resembles Michael. It's not genius.

Only the last one was classic/90s Simpsons, the others were well into the 21st Century. Anyway violence on television's been a big thing for a while, it's sex and nudity that got the conservative religious types' panties in a twist.
We need an episode involving both the fat Tony’s sons. Maybe Michel and his cousin argue over who would inherit the family business when the new fat tony “retires” and they go to war with each other dividing the playground . Lisa might try and stop the fighting while Bart keeps it going because he likes the chaos
They never show the James Caan bit on Channel 4. There's also the snowball ambush in Series 2 and Homer bashing his head on the glasses to the Love Theme in "Homer the Clown."
@@dominon929 No, I'm serious. I think the Simpsons, that started in 1989 predicted the godfather, which came out in 1972......... Of course it's a joke.

It's a reference to the Godfather, obviously. In the movie, Michael inherits his family business of being a mafioso. His wife is aware of this from before Michael got involved in the family business. If this had been Family Guy, they would have had a cutaway where Peter is in the room with animated Marlon Brando, and he just rambles to himself while Brando sits there silent and emotionless the whole time. Then at the end Peter would say something loosely aimed at the audience.
The music at 1:03 is La Valse du Parrain if anyone is interested.
thanks; i searched for that alot
So the godfather theme?
James Caan getting killed Sonny style was so funny.
And Marge did it much better than James Caan and Gianni Russo - the choreography of that fight in the movie was hilariously inept.
