As a hospice nurse, no, those aren’t blood stained from a body that laid there for only a few hours, unless they were injured/ bled out/ etc. they don’t decompose within hours, she needs some fact checking 😃
A body starts to rot before it dies.... I’m a nurse too and there is a certain smell that a very sickly patient who is close to expiring emits.... and they often evacuate their bowels and seep bodily fluids shortly after passing
If it is hot enough and humid enough, decomposition can accelerate to a few days. Especially if there's no AC, no air flow, all windows shut etc. Now I'm not saying you'll see a skeleton after a week, but a you'll start the process and shed liquids much faster.
Bodies don’t decompose and start oozing within hours as she said. From the look of that stain it’s bodily fluids for sure. The body could have been decomposing up to a week or more before it was found. Some one commented the body loses bodily functions when a person dies but I found that to happen very infrequently when I did body removals. Of course if this person was dead there up to a week that’s what could have been under that pad but not at the bottom.

I worked in Emergency medicine and have delt with plenty of patients that have passed. Not to mention picking up the bodies for funeral home that was odd.
First house: "Yeah like I think these stains are from a dead body" *completely ignores the water damage from the obvs leaky roof everywhere else in the place*
The dirt is probably a spill absorber. Like it's possible someone died but it's also possible all of this came from one of the many wet spots on the ceiling.
Oh also if a house has to be abandoned because of mold, you have to leave practically EVERYTHING to avoid carrying mold spores with you to another place to live. Certain types of mold can cause irreversible neurological damage, which is why you should have a N95 mask or respirator to go into abandoned places.

That other brain trust thought they were ashes. You should check out some of their comments during other videos... its kind of shocking how little they know about things pre digital age. It shows in the other videos.
Actually those fluid leakages on the bed and bathroom floor look like remnants of a home birth. In a planned home birth, usually one prepares the bed with a hospital sheet, chux, or a layer of newspapers under a clean, old sheet that can be disposed. If the baby died, it's possible the family moved out to either not have the sad memories or to evade being charged with neglect by authorities. Pregnancy would explain the BP log also, as elevated BP is a sign of pre-eclampsia that would necessitate immediate delivery.
I never knew a dealer to be so kind as to LABEL their drugs so specifically and like a legitimate pharmacist . 🙄 It was just a bundle of misinformation in this video. Also, maybe sound out the words on the PRESCRIPTION bottle next time.
24-72 hours after death, the internal organs decompose. 3-5 days after death the body starts to bloat and blood-containing foam leaks from the mouth and nose. 8-10 days after death the body turns from green to red as the blood decomposes and the organs in the abdomen accumulate gas. 10-20 days black putrefaction occurs, which is when noxious odors are released from the body and the parts of the body undergo a black discoloration. The abdomen is now bloated from the internal gas pressure nearing maximum capacity, causing organs and cavities to burst. And after 4 weeks internal organs begin to liquefy and the face becomes unrecognizable. Soon after, the skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments degrade exposing the skeleton. Depending on the conditions where and how the person died, they can either decompose rapidly or slowly. Whoever died in that bed was probably there for a few weeks or longer before they were discovered.
My dad found my aunt the day after she passed. He told me her skin had turned black. He thought this was because she was a smoker. Is it possible a smoker's body turns black more quickly?

Part of why I enjoyed your content was the fact you were respectful and mostly chimed in about general observations of the areas you visited. Having Esmae talk about the "what-ifs" and wild speculation about the inhabitant of the first house was disappointing and frankly, infuriating. Aside from the incorrect information about decomposition and the processes the body goes through (some of which are universal like emptying of bowels, some are entirely determined by the environment and factors the body is exposed to), the idea that some Filipino person is emptying grave dirt onto a bed to "resurrect" someone is so unbelievably stupid. Most Filipinos are Roman Catholic and judging by the house's typical Roman Catholic Filipino decor, they were too. Trying to "spice up" the place someone died with some armchair coroner and anthropology lesson is so disgusting and aggravating.

Incorrect, the adipose doesn't "melt" within hours of death. Decomp starts, but it takes a lot longer than hours for adipose tissue, or any tissue to leave stains on something just from decomposition. If there was bodily injury, yeah it could be blood, but it's likely not "melted fat".

Whoever died in that first home was there awhiilllllle. My uncle died in his hotel room, and because they didn't see him for about 3 weeks at the bar, so one of his fellow drunks called the cops worried about him, and lo and behold his body was such a mess they couldn't properly get him out without a horror movie scene clean up. He had been dead 2 weeks. Sooo she wasn't there just for "a couple hours." Though that is an ethnically Filipino home, and most Filipinos have a tradition of laying the body out for 9 days and having prayers/feasts/ even gambling around them, celebrating that person's life...so that's probably why there was a hospital sheet there, to keep the deceased body intact while they were laid out for that long. No clue why that dirt is there. Maybe parts of her decomposition was so rank, they covered it w/ that dirt to stop the smell after until they could leave. Who knows.

I know that when someone dies it's all biohazard, especially if they were there for more than a day, and has to be disposed of properly. They have people who specialize in cleaning houses after someone had died. Since this person was more than likely sick when they died, the chance of the body sitting there for too long is slim. , More than likely they died in a hospital. I doubt that's blood on the mattress.
First house was just kinda creepy and weird. That second house, holy shit what a mess. Does look like some one was cooking drugs in there. But the mold and mess were terrible.

Iphone 4S release date was 10-14-2011. I don't know why people consider these abandon houses. Someone owns them still and if the cops catch you inside it's breaking and entering and burglary. It makes for a cool video though.
Trespassing at the least, and saying the window was already broken or the door was already kicked in isn't going to impress the cop too much... however unless a neighbor calls the police nobody is probably going to notice.

@@fdfsdfsvsfgsg4888 no they really are maybe not that much But even the beanie babies here in the US with the original tags on them they are actually worth money
@@fdfsdfsvsfgsg4888no some of them are worth money .
Esme ruined the video.
Like she just got worse and worse as the video went on
Body's decompose in 10 minutes. I know because my hair is blue.
😂😂😂😂
Lmao
Lol 😆
Good One !!!
@@charlesherald5963 thank you
I don't think I would have gone to the crime scene just in case they decided to come back and collect more evidence. Unless the case was closed and they collected enough. I wouldn't have touched anything just in case I wouldn't want to be linked to something like that lol. the great video really gave me the creepys you could feel the atmosphere.
I'm wondering if it might be urine.
Moment 10:20 "I'm gonna take that home" I thought ethical explorers don't steal thing.. I guess you are not.
God only knows what spirits you are already disturbing and taking something that's theirs... no thank you, you don't want to bring anything back home... It's not yours and may bring you bad luck.
Cry about it
I think she was been sarcastic.
@@jacquelinecarle4224 I hope she is.
Glad I found this comment, I was also wondering if these people took stuff. Wonder what the big back packs are for now.
But the very first shot of the diner, awesome. Don't think I would have gone in either house, you guys are braver than I!
That Mickey mouse phone, is worth ALOT of dough
Of course these bone brains have no clue about that fact.... I was wondering if anyone was going to comment
Never take anything from abandon places
I noticed that too. But the golden rule of explorers is not to take anything from places they explore.
Well, they drank Champagne, salvaged from the wreck of "R.M.S Titanic", and got drunk as fuck :/ (1500 tragic deaths).. now, if you wake up, after a night like that, with no hangover at all, 2 the smell of bacon n eggs.. That is fucked up :o...
"alot"? Idiot.
Omg excited to watch this even tho it's a sad video.
Wow, pretty old appliances. Huge basement. Clock is verry cool.
If youre ever curious about when the house was abandoned, check the food expiration dates, you can get a good average at least
The piles of dirt and stains on the bed were very creepy. Loved this video. I still have a 90's box tv as my main tv. I remember my friend collecting these international Beanie babies. If I were to guess, I'd say the first house was abandoned in 19- early 2000's. That beer could be considered a collectable now.
I am always amazed why people just abandon their houses and leave everything. Wtf
They probably took some stuff but your right, lots of people leave some pretty valuable things that they could have sold, taken or given to charities
You don’t need your house in the next life or in prison
That Erin the bear Ireland beanie baby is worth 1k $
@jason9022 Erin the bear is currently being sold for over 12k now
🤣well I inherited a ton of beanie babies and the minis so please tell me where I can make that kind of money cause I haven't found anywhere that pays more than a dollar or 2 a piece!
@ stupid idea but ok
@ I know it was asking price. I once met a guy who has the money for those things and used to buy them for a couple grand. He has a whole glass collection case and its lowkey creepy lol.
19:06 The Eveready clock is defo not random junk, cool piece to hang on a garage wall.
Got to be worth a few quid that.
Those Beany Babys are worth ALOT OF MONEY! Especially with them still in the packaging.
Who knows.
Need to see more transition from room to room, many emotions can be sparked from a mere hallway. JG2020 great content.
Would have been interesting to see what kind of music they listened since they had quite a lot of cd's and also the books..idk i feel that that's a way to know the ppl that lived there a little
That lamp/phone is worth a small fortune!
3:11 Oh my God, a Nokia 3310!. That put me straight back in 2001!. Whenever I look at one I can't help but hear Limp Bizkit in my head
The best about those phones was the game snake
"ewww,..there's a mirror on the ceiling!" -Girl with ripped fishnets in the back of her legs/Long Blue Braided Hair.
Makes perfect sense.
Where's that post rock jazz cd? Gonna need some mute action happening here.
Those dirt mounds were probably the work of field ants. Aaand false, those were not for rituals. No such thing in Catholicism. Judging from the the first part, the family was Fil+American and yeah they were religious; rosary and picture of "the holies"👈 catholic's essentials
Defo meth lab maybe that's what your informant meant by "crime scene" :3
I have to inspect a lot of homes like this for mortgage companies that repossessed or the homes were abandoned. I hate going in the basements!
Why?? What’s wrong with basements.?
@@businesslp3027 when doing inspections on a vacant/foreclosed homes, the basements are usually full of water/mold and not to mention squatters could be hiding in there.
Maybe the first house owners weren't travelers, a LOT of people have different places magnets on their fridge but because people gift them to you
Here in CA the tweekers would have picked those houses like crazy
Very beautiful pair of rosary beads and image of Jesus on the wall gorgeous
The pile of stuff actually looks to me like termite 💩. I have a house I clean weekly and during that time the termites will leave these granules that pile up like that. I asked an exterminator about it because I couldn’t figure out what it was and where it was coming from and that’s when I found out it is termite 💩
I think it makes it creepier when they leave everything behind.
I know that when someone dies it's all biohazard, especially if they were there for more than a day, and has to be disposed of properly. They have people who specialize in cleaning houses after someone had died. Since this person was more than likely sick when they died, the chance of the body sitting there for too long is slim. ,
More than likely they died in a hospital. I doubt that's blood on the mattress.
The strangest thing about those houses are you guys are going through that crap without gloves. Putting your finger prints on everything.
First house was just kinda creepy and weird. That second house, holy shit what a mess. Does look like some one was cooking drugs in there. But the mold and mess were terrible.
randi I was thinking maybe all the moisture from the steam of cooking crack could have a lot to do with the mold??🤷🏻♂️
@@htownbuckeye4549 I don't know for sure but I think cooking drugs involves more fumes than actual steam.
@5:25 a woman says "yeah" softly, and I'm thinking it wasn't from an alive person... was hearing lots of EVP's in this video.
Those beanie baby's were put out by McDonald's in the 90s. They came in the Happy Meals.
Insects eating the wood in the ceiling would make those piles like that. The wood they chew and their droppings end up in those dirt looking piles.
Me: waiting for a jump scare
Also me : 2 mins in 😥😱
My OCD: wash your hands
That’s definitely a crack cooking house!
Hahahah
I was only two blocks away that awful night, at my sister Clara's. We we sort of listening to the organ, you know .The midnight bells were ringing and I turned to Clara and said, "Clara; the organ music sounds strange tonight!" She said, "Yes, it does!" You know Clara! Well, they say there are still bloodstains on the organ keys, And they used Bon-Ami!
I really love your channel and videos. I love old vintage things and the detailing on old houses. I have seen soooo many things that are worth a lot in these videos of yours.
near the end with that fridge it sent me 😂😂
Don’t show photos dude. Have some respect. That’s one of the first rules!
Omg the Philippine flag. I can tell the homeowners were filipino :(( such a sad outcome of what the home once full of people and joy would end up like that.
@@3mate1 - After years of going into such places, I can for sure say, somebody always notices. The idea is to get in, look, and get out fast. It can seem like the most remote, nobody-cares location, but if you stay in one place too long, say more than 20 minutes, you're going to get confronted by someone.
I miss being that age, old enough to want to do shit but too young to have responsibilities and cars and stuff. I miss exploring and shit
The first house the piles of "dirt" might be from termites. They chew through wood and it leaves these weird piles around.
yea, i know it was an animal
@@rustytaylor9527 still real creepy!
Wouldn’t it stink in that place? That’s so sad, and what’s that sand stuff? Is it coffee?!?
Who would but coffee on the bed. Its ants or termites I bet.
I'm gonna say yes. Its coffee. Everything else in this video is a lie. The ants carried it here.
Even tho he does exploring I feel like i get a bonus of asmr
I guarantee you, if my house was abandoned, and you came in here, you’d find all kinds of dates on stuff. That’s cause I’ve lived here 21 years. And I brought stuff with me when I moved in. So I’m not sure why “it doesn’t make sense” for you to see different dates on stuff. 😁 And yes, the green haired girl is a bit clueless. So is her friend. It takes several days (or weeks?) for a body to liquify.
If someone has passed away in that house they would taken the bed and other things around it for proper disposal
Unless they actually died in a hospital and just spent the time before there. It could've been a urine soaked spot on the matress?
Someone probably uses the second house for drugs
Hi Devin! 1st I love the diner shot it reminded me of the famous portrait of the famous people from the 1950's. I love these type of videos there interesting because u truly don't know what happened & it's like a puzzle as u try to figure it out. I wish there was a way to know more about these places. Thank u & I can't wait for the next video 🙂
Thats laurel diner in Long Beach NY. I live there
The glass jar with the red lid that you could not identify was wheat germ. Health food
For me it was a specific but still interesting exploration. First house is a extremely sad place of someone's death. I want to believe that somebody - looking at the objects in the house - had a good, interesting life, f.ex. travels (certainly better than death, because death in solitude... I don't think anyone would want). The second house is a large creepy dump. There's everything and nothing in this house.
I can't believe no one took those comics. lol
Is the owners of the abandoned crime scene a Fil-Am ?
Yeah I think so too. I saw a Phil flag on the first room. So sad, definitely this house is very nice on its time.
A body or blood couldn’t decay within a couple of hours- if anything its blood
The blood pressure chart said 2015
"When a body like, dies, it's supposed to decompose..."
Well, I learned some things in this video.
oh greepy places this time , stay safe👍💯
When someone dies, their bladder & bowels empty--that's what those stains on bed are. (Except for the blood stains!)
