We have to try & continue the traditions....now that my daughters need to help me, as i cant do what i once did, due to dialysis 3 days a week,where BTW your videos keep me entertained while the machines are doing their job! My beautiful daughters then get to learn all the recipes so they can continue the traditions, which makes my mum & myself so happy! You two keep up the great work
My father's family is from the region of Calabria, Scalea and Papasidero. At Easter, my father's sister-in-law makes this delight. The Italian food and sweets are delicious and I love Sunday lunches with the whole families at our house (at the huge table that my father managed to make). We sat at the table at 1PM, 1:30 PM and at 3 or 4PM we are still eating and chatting. Happy moments. Now we are saddened by what is happening in the world, especially in our beautiful Italy. Easter will be different, we are in quarantine, each family in their own homes, but... with hope and faith that everything will be fine. Sorry my English. E viva l'Italia perché siamo forti!

@@vincenzosplate - I made the dough extra large. So it was fluffy, herbal and mmmm. Sausage. 😋 You really need to let the dough rise after flattening it. But you already know that.

I make a different kind of dough but the same idea with the egg in the middle... But also put an icing on after they are cooked. Milk and powdered sugar. Then sprinkle color with non perills (sp) ..
Thanks for your question! You can substitute self-rising flour with all-purpose flour plus baking powder and salt. Mix 1 cup of all-purpose flour with 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Good luck with your sgute biscuits! 🤗
