  • One of the worst defeats ever suffered by the Roman Empire. Here's my take of it using military miniatures. Many thanks to Keys of Moon for the use of their musical piece, "Epic Adventure."
I hesitated in making this video because when I started it I had enough pieces in my collection for the Roman Legions, but none from the barbarian tribes opposing them. Needless to say I did a lot of painting of new kits (52 figures) and invested significantly in the more expensive, hand-painted pewter figures. Hence, this took me a while to get finished. Hopefully it was worth the time and expense and you enjoy it!

Very nice painting and detail in a time where so much is going electronic. It must have taken a long time to paint and create this video, I liked it as I used to paint figurines myself and really appreciate watching this. It would have been fun maybe to hear an Arnold Schwarzenegger nyah cry in the battle sounds maybe, but other then that.. awesome man.

Thank you! I only painted about half the figures though, many came painted from some of the high end manufacturers.
