Thanks for watching, and the feedback buddy! I’m hoping to do more lawn videos going further. Plus I have a bentgrass putting green to build still!👍🏻

Great video! They are totally worth it if one reel mows! I bought mine due to that little hump/ridge of grass along the driveway and sidewalk edges that the reel mower really can't follow. Total asset now - never going back to string due to inherent lack of control at such low HOCs. Also, it's really tightened up the trimming around mulch beds and other spots the mower can't access, as you mentioned. Definitely a niche product for us reel mower users. Coming out of Japan, I figure a few years from now, it'll be in Home Depot before we know it...

They are totally worth it, if you are reel mowing. The strip of grass along my concrete edge that I can’t reach with my toro is the main reason I bought mine. Thanks for commenting.👍🏻

Grease tip is great allot people I think totally skip that and that’s why there so loud . Beautiful Property 💪🏻

Yeah keeping the tips greased up is super important. I was surprised how loud they are. They do quiet down a little after they break in.

What an amazing sandler drop! Great review, lots of info. Would you say they are louder than weed eater?

Yeah they’re noisy, but If you’re using a gas powered trim it’s not bad I always wear hearing protection. Now if you have a battery trimmer it’s going to be a lot noisier.

@@brewbuilds I’ve heard it’s just a different kind of noisy because of the metal on metal action

      That’s definitely how it is!

Stihl actually makes a rotary scissors attachment. Was wondering if you had specifically not bought the stihl version based on features etc or perhaps availability. The Stihl version comes pre-greased and requires more grease every 25 hours per dealer. I'm still making my mind up about which version to get so appreciate any insight you could share.

I heard sthl had one, but I wasn’t able to find it at the time of making my purchase. These have worked great so far. I just use the sthl hedge trimmer grease in them, and re-grease them every so often. I think the manual says every 10hrs of use.

I've had mine for a few years now and I don't know what I'd do without it. I have mine on a Ryobi 40Volt homeowner model. I wear earplugs because ... I guess it's loud .

It’s definitely louder than I expected. I can hear it over my sthl trimmer.
