His new book, The Power of Reconciliation encourages peacebuilding at all levels, turning the abstract idea of reconciliation into something that can be done throughout life.
Krishnan joined the Archbishop at Lambeth Palace to talk about what reconciliation is, and how we can use it to approach wars, culture wars and personal conflicts as well as what the role of church is in a time of war.

Was preaching the Gospel mentioned here? "Repent, and believe the Gospel." "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by Me." Etc.
There isn't another. And a text without context is a pretext.
When they say peace , then comes sudden destruction.

The role of the church is not to bring peace or reconciliation, the role of the church is to preach Christ, and him crucified.
The church exists to bring sinners to repentance and not to pamper sinners to remain in sin.
No one can reconcile to God without repenting from sin.

Reconciliation is a weapon used by the powerful to force the weak and oppressed to be reconciled to the suffering forced on them, while the powerful will never show any weakness or humility, but the will use Reconciliation as a weapon to force the weak to their will and qoute justin welby.

The First Crusade did call for peace in a matter. The ostensible issue was Christians pilgrims being persecuted in the Holy land by the Turks who had recently conquered it. It was not a war launched for the sake of war.

Jesus said, don't think that I came to bring peace. True peace is God's peace.
This ìs bigger than "family dispute " because just as we love our children, we don't disown them because of their decision to choose a lgtbq lifestyle. However, we will tell them the truth.
Therefore, where the church is involved, the church has not put out the lgtbq individuals, however, the church shall not , nor should it compromise and not let them know just as all groups of people, that living this sinful lifestyle does not please God, never has, never will. What's hard about that? We lo e them, however the church will not say it's alright.
The role of the church should not be to call for peace but be able to demand it , if churches are acting with the divine order and power of almighty Christ, there should be no wars ... no where

Jesus never said he was bringing peace to the world. He said he was sending a sword to cut bone from marrow, truth from lies, faith from unbelief and the word from the deception of the world. Mother from daughter, brother from brother. Wheat from tares… not peace!!! A sword.

Welby's appeals to complexity are basically an excuse for his total absence of principle and decisiveness. No wonder he's respected by no one besides a minority of ninnies and fools.
