I feel like they kept adding too many loose ends or spent too much time on parts of the show that could've been cut down for the last season to be 10 hours & 8 episodes.
I really don't want the story to feel rushed.
I feel they will end up making S5 longer than S4, because when they actually start writing, they will realize they need more time to wrap up the series and the character arcs well.

Even though they “intend” for 5 to be shorter, idk if that’s what will actually happen. They’ve made improved decisions before. So, something tells me they’ll have to change that.
Also, regrading the age jumps, they shouldn’t even make that an issue. Hollywood has cast older actors to play High Schoolers since FOREVER! Beverly 90210, Euphoria, and even Stranger Things season 1 (Nancy, Steve, and Jonathan were all played by actors who were already past high school age). This is THE LEAST IMPORTANT of all their worries, so I hope they don’t let it influence them that much. Audiences are VERY forgiving with this, but they won’t forgive a conclusion that doesn’t fulfill them or make any sense (I’m thinking of you GOT)
They just said each episode would be shorter. As opposed to the like 2 and a half hour last episode of 4
I agree, once Michael started naming all those questions that need to be answered I really got worried abt this season. If the duffers had to make S5 as long as S4 to avoid pacing issues, they would. I don't see them throwing their show away I've always trusted them to that level
They said they originally expected season 4 to be way shorter, so if they end up needing a really long season again to fully tie every thing up, I think they'd be ok with doing that. They didn't compromise and cut storylines in season 4 to make it closer to the expected run time, so I'd say they're more likely to say 'lol sorry we made another long one' than cut out stuff to keep it short.
@@robbiesmith8055 Exactlyyyy, there’s still so many questions and so much of the lore they have to finalize in this series (excluding spin-offs) and just like when they had to delay season 4 I put all my trust in the duffers to wrap it up beautifully
I agree with wanting season 5’s run time to be the same or longer. I love this universe, I love the characters, I want to spend more time with this show to enjoy it. I also agree that season 5 being the last season needs to wrap everything up so having more time to do that couldn’t hurt

I have a feeling that Will and Vecna will have the same type of connection to Harry and Voldemort in “Harry Potter”. This meaning Will might have to sacrifice himself or do something really important to kill Vecna, as if he is the final puzzle piece to kill Vecna

The only way to truly defeat Vecna is for both of them to go. I can definitely see that. I've been thinking about it since the beginning of S4. If Will can still feel him (the way Harry could "see" into Voldermorts mind) then they are still very much connected.

I was Will's age in the 1980's and the Duffer Crew nailed the anxiety and shame of being gay at that time. Being out was not possible. The Duffers have created such a subtle, raw, and realistic character dealing with being gay. Noah Schnapp has portrayed this so well as well in season 4. Will has been the best gay character I have ever seen written since gay characters have become the norm in entertainment.
I am so touched that my story is being handled with such care.

As for the show, it's never explicitly stated, but it's *heavily* implied right from the get go. It's more or less confirmed in the van scene with Mike, where he's telling him how much Mike means to 'Eleven', and how lucky 'she' is to have him because when you're 'different' you 'feel like a mistake'. He's in tears by the end of the exchange because it's the best he can do to tell Mike how he really feels.
My father was that age around then too. He used to talk about how hard it was to be gay as a child.
@edalder2000 It's nice to hear someone who lived in Will's shoes feel so seen by his storyline this season. I'm gen z, and I've seen a lot of people my age pissed that he didn't get a coming out scene this season, and calling the whole thing queerbaiting. I think they're ignoring how realistic it is for the time period for him to be dealing with so much internalised homophobia, and to be terrified of coming out. They're more interested in the show rushing to make Will come out than telling his story realistically and with the care it deserves.

I have a pretty good answer to why upside-down appear to be "stuck" in the past.
Because it isn't...
Ok let me explain... When you look at any structure in upside down they pass in Season 4, especially the power lines. They are completely broken. Some of them even fallen over completely. Things inside the house they enter is worn and weathered. This is not effect of time being frozen. Rather effects of everything being left without human interaction. As we see, upside-down isn't really a mirror of our world. When Vecna originally arrived it did not look anything like earth, no sign of earth structures or landmarks. Sometime around season 1. When 11 opens the first, ehem now to be known second portal to upside-down. A copy of Hawkins, potentially the entire planet manifested in upside down. Likely to make portals more stable. This copy is simply a copy. Just without humans inn it. This means this copy of hawkins in upside-down was left to wear out and slowly deteriorate due to the extreme climate of upside-down.
If time was frozen. It would mean nothing there would progress, there should/would not be any wear and tear to any structures, including the powerpoles. And the upside down life or any life should/would not be able to do anything... What I explained above just gives the illusion it is stuck in the past. When it simply is hawkins, but if it was abandoned in season 1...

Great theory but don't you think it would take 10s to 100s of years from 1983 for the world to look like how it does in the upside down. It doesn't make sense how 11 could open the gate, have 1983s world be copied, and then soon after, its in the unstable condition we all know it to be.

I hope it ends with Wills big moment. Honestly I get Mike is the 'leader' but the first season revolved around Will and Eleven and that's how it should end somehow.
Will must be a central figure in S5. Vecna started as a human wizard in D&D, which is exactly what Will’s character is. They could use Will’s connection to Vecna and the hive to locate Max, which could backfire for Will. I’m really curious about the Upside Down being stuck in the day Will was abducted there. This makes it feel like it has more to do with Will than Vecna. Vecna had no reason to freeze time that day.
I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they do a good job and closing the series. Like I said, they could easily mix a lot of these plot lines into one.
Hard agree with all of this. The 2 love triangles will probably have all 3 characters in a group together, so the resolution of those stories will just be an extension of whatever their group is doing. Same with Robin/Vickie for that matter.
As for the Will stuff, that's my thoughts exactly. Nov 6th wasn't the first time El had opened a gate, so it wasn't a case of worlds colliding that froze the UD. And while she technically lived in Hawkins, she had no knowledge of the surrounding town or emotional attachment to it, so it's unlikely that she somehow projected it when she touched the Demogorgon and opened the gate. So the only other (already established) variable is Will.
It may not have been 100% intentional in every instance, but there are so many parallels between him and Vecna that it feels like they're intentionally building up to an adversarial relationship between them. Which only makes sense; Vecna was directly responsible for all the crap that's happened to him, so him taking a backseat while El kills Vecna feels lackluster.
And one last thing, I also agree that getting Max back will somehow backfire for him: the kids storyline for the first half of the season will involve getting her back, but there will likely be major consequences to exploiting Will's connection with Vecna in order to do it.
Yea, but they could be referring to the fact vecna started out as a human with powers. But regardless of what it is: it has to connect with will. Even if it’s the alternative theory I gave: they’d have to connect will because the “wizard who was trapped in the upside down” was pressed so much. So if they’re referring to vecna being a previous human with powers- I hope they make will have powers to fight him as the “good wizard”
@@robbiesmith8055 exactly, if the time freeze were due to El, it would’ve happened either when she sent 01 there or when she opened the gate in ‘83, not a few days later for some absurd reason. Vecna has issues with time, but in a way so does Will. Will’s life as he liked it stopped the day he went into the upside down. He returned to not only being haunted by the upside down, but to a world where his friends had moved on without him. So the time freeze could’ve been when he was abducted, or a later effect proving that he’s developing a greater control over the upside down.
The love triangles are really the least of their problems with a huge hole to the upside down and the whole world needing to acknowledge that Eddie was a hero!
@@ReadObituaries totally agree with this. I think the only reason they took a character who was so center stage and put him so far in the back was to make the parallels to Vecna obvious. If they told us after S1-2 that Henry and Will were similar it would’ve made no sense. S3 the boys started to leave Will behind, and S4 totally isolated him.
Idk if they will adhere to the origins of Vecna from D&D, I’m just pointing out that it’s yet another parallel between them. I also want Will to get powers, or enhance the ones he has, and fight Vecna.

Killing off Jonathan would be so cruel. He is such a selfless, traumatized character.. he deserves a peaceful, happy ending. & Joyce having yet another funeral.. I'm heartbroken and it hasn't even happend.
My theory is that the entire families of the main characters are gonna die. Eleven is gonna lose Hopper and Will is gonna lose Joyce and Jonathan leaving Nancy with no choice but to go back to Steve...but wait, spoiler alert, Steve dies so if both Jonathan and Steve are dead Nancy is left all alone.
I feel like this is Wills battle. El has tried to defeat vecna/the mindflayer and has failed every time. I think it’s going to end with Will. The whole show is an allegory for abuse and trauma, and it all started with will’s. I think Will needs to finally stand up for himself, his friends and everything he’s been through. I personally think he’s going to do so from the inside, but that’s just my guess. I think it would be a little disappointing if it was just El or El with other numbers. Even if it’s El and Will that would be good. This is his battle and I think that’s where they’ve been failing, and why they can’t defeat him. They’ve set up Will and Henry to be very similar, and I think it’s a matter of Will standing up and basically breaking the cycle saying “no I won’t be like you”
I guess but the whole show didn't start with will... it started with eleven. El opened the first gate, and don't forget the entire reason vecna is searching for victims in hawkins is because of her. Like billy said, "all of this for you"- her and only her is the one who made this whole show a thing. Actually season 1 was thanks to will, but el is the reason it has more seasons. I think either el or will are going to have to sacrifice themselves and even if it's not el she's going to completely sacrifice her powers by closing the gate once and for all and ending this whole supernatural thing. Thos is the end that's they've been leading up to in the later seasons.

He obviously will probably defeat the mindflayer and vecna. But if it doesn’t end with will he will still help with detecting danger. And that’s just my opinion though

I think it will end with Will and Eleven teaming up to fight Vecna together. I also think either Will or Steve may end up dying at the end of Season 5. The Duffers aren't going to introduce any new characters in Season 5 and out of the cast I think Will and Steve are the most likely to be killed. I could easily see Steve choosing to sacrifice himself to save Dustin and Will likewise doing the same to save Joyce and Jonathan from Vecna. I really hope we see a Will Eleven team up against Vecna that would be so awesome!

Tbh I think Dustin might sacrifice himself for Steve, with the way he's been affected by Eddie's death. I think they are going to make Dustin a bit more sad in s5 because of Eddie's death and blaming himself so if he sees Steve in danger, he will try and save him

Given the amount of focus the Stancy/Jancy love triangle seems like it's going to have, I find it more likely that Steve's gonna go out saving Nancy instead. But I agree with you that he and Will feel most likely to bite it.

Remember that Eddie died in the underworld and they wouldn’t have been able to retrieve him bc Eddie pulled off that heavy rope that they used to get into it. Dustin wouldn’t have been able to replace that and drag Eddie out himself it had also closed/sealed off. So sadly Eddie’s body is still in Vecna’s world
theres actually an image of eddie being wheeled away in a hospital bed with ambulance on set but the scene was never showed? It doesnt make sense, if you think about it there were hospital scenes with max in a coma? maybe there was one with Eddie bc that photo kinda proves he does get collected so maybe hes in the hospital too? I dont know why they would do that big emotional death scene to then to have a scene of him being wheeled into the hospital but they had to cut alot of the finale and rush alot of things because it was already so long. I was settled with the fact hes dead no matter how many theories people came up with because they all either had good counter arguments against it or didnt make sense to me. but that image has made me question otherwise.
My big question that no one talks about is why did 008 have different powers than every other number?
I think instead of getting the telekinesis aspect of 001’s powers, she got the illusion part (what Vecna uses on his victims). Wild guess tho cause I have no idea if that makes sense.
It was explained in the lab sequence with all the kids in the Rainbow Room that some of the kids powers were more prevalent than in others. El just happened to have all the powers that the other kids had.
I think they maybe originally thought they could do it. That maybe all of the numbers developed different skills. And could use that to spice up the show. If everyone liked the character and clamored for more. They might have introduced another with different skills. And so on creating a team of “x-men”. Not sure that was the direction they ultimately wanted to go. But in the end. Ppl disliked the character so they shelved the idea. But yeah. That was my big question why did she have different powers. (I would consider them on par with vecna’s skills. Mind altering stuff). If so…… then why was Brenner using EL to find Henry? Why not use her to find Kali? I mean the trouble Brenner and team went Thu to recapture 11. Was something out of Jason Bourne intelligence. But they just let Kali escape and not pursue? Idk.

They NEED to have Will be a major character this season…. I think it would end it perfectly given he was missing most of season 1… also by far the best actor in the show.
I just noticed that when they spent all that time in the upside down this season Demogorgons never appeared. It was like it was just demo bats and vecna left there

I agree, will should come out whether or not he lives or dies at the end, but telling mike specifically of his feelings might not be necessary. Mike can’t do anything with the info since he’s straight and loves El. In my experience, it can make friendships quite awkward carrying on after a confession of feelings that can’t be reciprocated...
season 5 should be the longest so they can wrap up everything and end on a high.

That's not needed in season 5. There won't be any teenage bully drama. There's going to be one storyline. Everyone will be in Hawkins. There's no new characters. It doesn't need to be as long

I mean maybe, but I feel like she'll be back by the halfway point of season 5. The kids' main arc in part 1 is probably going to be about Max, and part 2 they'll fully turn their attention to stopping Vecna.
I want season 5 to be longer. I think it's gonna have time travel involved. I'm so excited I can't wait. I hope they bring Eddie back he's my favorite.

I’d also be upset if ST finished with a “happy ending” with no consequences. I feel atleast 1 or 2 main characters have to die off. Whether that be will sacrificing him self to save hawkins or whatever.
I don't think we'll see a bloodbath, since the more mains they kill the less we get to feel the impact of each one. But the Duffers realise they have to finally kill off some mains, and if I had to bet on anyone of them I'd say Steve and Will.

@@CoolRanchPropaganda Killing off Steve halfway through the show is a bad move, because he's one of the most popular characters and losing him could kill a lot of fans' interest in future seasons. But if you want a gut wrenching finale, killing off fan favourite characters is the way to do it. Fans can't exactly boycott the show in protest if there's not gonna be anymore of it anyway.
I can see an ending where Stancy is endgame and he's perfectly alive and healthy when the show ends, but I can just as easily see him dying a hero's death while Nancy ends up with Jonathan. The love triangle is honestly the biggest question mark for me, it could go either way.
I don’t think Eddie would have wheeled away on a stretcher. Dustin had to leave his body in the Upside Down, which is why Eddie’s uncle was still looking for him when Dustin confirmed that he was dead.

I hope Kali comes back she has so much potential to help the kids I also think Will is going to have to make a sacrifice in order to completely rid himself of vecna. To me the russian storyline was finished the particles of the mindflayer went into the demogorgans and then murray blasted them with the flamethrower while hop chopped of the head of the final one. Reguarding Henery amd his role in the 60s and 70s I really wanna know what his mother did or what she knew about Henery, it was left vague. I also think Dr Owens is going to play somewhat of a bigger role at the end calling in the military to help Eleven theres no way he died. he's been protrayed as one of the good guys amd so much character development went into him through out seasons 2 and 4. as always good video good theories!

@@Poop00 you are thinking too literally. Kali is a shape shifter. She changes the way things look to other people. If she can shape shift she can fake all of that changing who she is and what she looks like. Hell, all she has to do is read one book and know how to do that job--and this is coming from someone who has a degree in psychology. The rest can be faked.
Especially in that time period. I know so many people in the 80s who faked a degree. That's easy to do. It wasn't as easy to check back then.
@@Poop00 well she could be using her powers to make her appear to others as an adult. But I hardly think she would have the know how to effectively be a counselor. Unless the counseling is just a way to get info. Didn’t help Chrissy as she left the office seemingly more disturbed. But I digress. Everything can be changed explained away or even retconned. It’s up to the writers to make it work. I personally hated her. I’m actually tired of the jaded. Pissed off teenager angry at the world trope. Why couldn’t they make her likable like they did Chrissy or even Eddie. ? Was it the bad actress? Or the writing? Who knows. I do remember not everyone warmed to Max the first season. But liked her during the 4th season. I doubt they could fix Kali. But u never know. I would be happy if they just don’t bring her up again.
05:32 I hope the spin-off show the Duffer brothers have planned follow Steve as a father with his kids going on a summer road trip with and being haunted by the remnants of the upside down (after they ‘close the gate’). It would be cool as they could incorporate some horror movie references like Friday the 13th and other camp slashers or supernatural classics whilst still having that Goonies vibes with Steve’s kids stuck in the middle of the action. We could have other stranger things characters be cameos or even main characters.
And considering Steve is a fan-favourite, this would be a much better way to cash in on the Stranger Things franchise than making a Hawkins lab series. At least this kind of series could build and pay homage to what came before as opposed to being a prequel.

Guys i think we have to deal with the fact that max, will, and eleven, ALL have a connection to the upside down so it might be likely they’ll all die in order to kill vecna, and mike might as well because of the vision that vecna showed Nancy, plus he is the ‘heart’ and the leader and if vecna killed him vecna would have even more of the upper hand.
na i doubt that they would kill max off if they brought her back in s4, there wouldnt be any point bc if she was meant to die in s5 why would they bring her back in s4

Vecna's disappearance was intentional. It's a tribute to what they did with Michael Meyers at the end of the original Halloween movie.
Im sorry I'm gonna admit but I thought season 4 had some really strong moments BUT as a whole it felt rushed and anti climax especially towards the end. I hope season 5 IS THE BEST SEASON OF ANY TV SERIES IN HISTORY. I Don't want steve and nancy back together, I want max to be okay but if the duffer brothers want the og cast probably not. I think the time jump is gonna be like 1988, 1989 or even 1990 but I don't know cus hawkins looked a mess at the end so what would it look like with a 3 to 5 year time jump
Vecna/Henry said that the other kids weren't dead that they were simply in his mind. If that holds up that means he absorbed Max into his mind but seeing as 11 brought her back she is practically in his mind with a foot held to the door. She might be able to release the kids trapped in his mind and seeing as they dont have physical bodies like Max does still one of them might posses Will?
So after watching the whole video there wasn't even a mention about season 5 being dark. Most of the video was complaining about the runtime. Great job again.

Eddie got 'killed' by bats, right? The Kas theory says that like Kas in D&D, Eddie will turn into a vampire and become Vecna's right hand man and eventually turn on him and kill him. In D&D, vampires are created when another vampire 'drains the life out of a living creature'. There are many different types of vapires in D&D, including Swarmform Vampires, which have the ability to assume the form of a swarm of creatures, so I'm thinking that the swarm of bats that attacked Eddie were actually a Swarmform Vampire, and that would lead onto the Kas theory. It would also explain how the Kas theory applies to Eddie and not to Steve; Steve also got bitten by bats, but there were only a few, unlike the swarm that attacked Eddie. Idk, I think the Duffer brothers based Eddie's character on Kas, so it would make sense.

My theory on the Jonathan/Steve/Nancy triangle, is that Steve is going to die in season 5. He'll sacrifice his life to save Jonathan, because even though Steve loves Nancy, he knows she wants to be with Jonathan, and he will sacrifice himself because Jonathan is who makes Nancy happy. You don't just Give a character scenes like Steve got (like him talking about his future family, the road trips he wants to take, etc.) And then Let that character live

I think they might explain why they never showed us his parents in the show. But yeah, besides that, I agree w everything and am super excited for season 5!

We didn't see Eddie get loaded into an avalanche because he's not confirmed dead. We find out after the 3 day time jump that he's just missing. Only Dustin, the other main characters I assume, and later Eddies uncle knows that he died. His body is probably still on the upside down

They have already said that the questions left were on purpose and said season five will focus on the mythology of the upside down.
Heres my small theories that I cant connect, if you can and find them realistic please feel free to do so. Vecna is dead, or banished in some way then he returns in some way making the Kas the bloody handed theory kind of true since Nancy technically killed him. Also, everything is normal for a few years to make the time jump make sense, so they might be in 86 for the first episode or 2 and then they jump. The set photos might be stuff that was filmed during the shooting of season 4 but for 5 so everyone where the same age before the time jump. Maybe everything before the jump has already been filmed.
Season 5 was only outlined when they were shooting 4, but no scripts were written, so I doubt they already have any footage. It seems likely that everything's been fine during the time jump because Vecna was too weak from his injuries to launch a full scale attack. Season 5 will probably pick up with him finally making a move, or on the hunt for a new host since his current body is so buggered.

I agree that Eddie will probably come back, but there is a chance he might not. How would he be taken away in an ambulance when he died in the Upside Down? Did they somehow throw in an ambulance from a gate with some people inside? Everything would be ruined if anyone other than the original Stranger Things characters somehow got in the Upside Down. But obviously, people are saying the directors said we would see more of Eddie.

I hate to say it but, I don't think dustin is just going to stand by and let another mentor/older brother figure die like eddie, more than likely Dustin's death will be the most impactful not only the fans, but the other characters in the show, what if the big fight is happening and Dustin's death would not only be the final push in the fight, and we would get like this final maturing arc of steves character.
Eddie died in the upside-down, that's why nobody ever recovered his body. Dustin had to leave him there, he couldn't haul his body out of there alone, and if they'd gone back for him, his flesh may have been eaten away already.

I really want to see 11s sister again I've been hoping that ever since we last saw her
I was hoping they'd split ST5 into 3 Parts. Vol 1 would be 6 Eps, each at a minimum of 2 and 1/2 hrs releasing around Halloween of 2024, Vol 2 would be the next 6 Eps each at around 3 hrs releasing on New Years of 2025, and then there'd be a Theatrical Movie released on Halloween of 2026 at 4 and 1/2 hrs, giving Netflix's Magnum Opus a truly great finale to the Decade long series. Alas, it's up to the Duffer Bros to give the final call, but think about it. A 25 and 1/2 hr long finale would be the most epic thing in the face of the universe.
They haven't ruled out releasing season 5 in multiple parts, but there's no way they're spreading it out that much if they do. Season 4 was as popular as it was because it made fans wait, but not too long. If you stretch out 1 story with lengthy breaks between instalments, the hype will dissolve and you're gonna lose viewers.

Thor: Ragnarok released a year before Infinity War and the end credits scene took place like a minute before the next movie started. Endgame was hyped due to Infinity War having it where the heroes finally lost. At World's End was hyped the same way with the Pirates losing in Dead Man's Chest. The fans then had to wait a whole year until the next film came out in both instances. If we could wait for those, Stranger Things fans can wait for like 3 months for the 2nd half of the season. Maybe even a year for a Movie. We then get 25 and 1/2 hrs of content FOR SEASON 5 ALONE after. Think about it.

They're aiming for 8 episodes and a shorter overall runtime than season 4, based on their early outlines and how much time they think that story will need. Releasing 3-5hrs of a 10hr story at a time with months worth of waiting between installments just isn't going to be enough to keep fans satisfied.
if you guys noticed end of season 4 eleven used alot of her power to bring max back from the dead at vecna's lair, then at the hospital she does it again to give her a pulse reading, but cant reach her because shes in a comma, max is the first person eleven used her powers towards, so it could be a sign that maybe eleven gave her some of her powers?
She technically didn't bring her back from the dead but started her heartbeat again
4th season is so long because it has so much unnecessary and irrelevant content! (1/3 of the content is pointless and serves no purpose, not even to flesh things out)

Okay so everyone says that Eddie will come back as a vampire but nobody really considers the fact that IT COULD HAVE BEEN WILL and nobody noticed. The vampire in DnD (I forgot his name lol) was under the control of vecna, which will very much IS under vecna's control in season 2. Then the vampire eventually switches sides (JUST LIKE WILL DID WHEN HE GOT OUT OF THE CURSE)

Will predicted his own death. In the seasons before, he was always drawing and drew a dragon eating one of the DND crew, then in season 4 Nancy said she saw a "huge creature with a gaping mouth," Also known as (Bogg? I cant remember the name) the Red Dragon and strongest DND character with similar powers to Vecna, but stronger. Nancy also says she sees her dead family and "Mike...Mike..." So my guess is she sees Mike get eaten. However, because Will has set up, that Mike is the LOVE of the group, and without him they will fail, he could be the one that gets eaten, by sacrificing himself for Mike (thus ending the show the way it began, focusing on Will's character; the way the show LOST focused on the awakening and death of the main character to open and close it's show about a time traveling Bermuda triangle island).
Henry's memory is flawed. His memory of events did not co-inside with his father's memory, or Brenner's. So it is possible he was not "CONTROLLING THE BIG MIND FLAYER MONSTER" the way he thought. It is possible he was possessed by it when he was younger (as Will was) and getting pulled into the upside down was the result of 11 trying to destroy him while he had that supernatural power already inside him (it opened a gate when he 'died' so he is effectively just a puppet of the real big bad just like every other creature there). The brothers also said "no new characters in season five," however, the dragon is not a new character, it is the red clouded/red lightning/powder monster all along. Will even drew it in season one, when we find out he likes drawing.
Will's death catalyst for time travel. We saw Henry turn back time and know that he can absorb people and their power, and 6 in the comics who is a precog looks ahead and sees 11's future power and is scared to death, so it could be that 11 absorbs Vecna's power to turn back time and start a whole new battle with the Red Dragon that had originally controlled Henry/1 back in the day, and her and Henry defeat the red powdery beast, together. (Correlation being, Henry's eyes darting back and forth when he used his powers [IN FLASHBACKS, BEFORE HE WAS EVER IN THE UPSIDE DOWN], the same way Will's eyes darted back and forth, back when he was entered by the mind flayer in season 2, and again when he was seeing through Vecna's eyes in the upside down as the spy).
If Eddie returns, I hope they do it in a way where (with the whole town seeing red and evil monsters) Eddie comes in and after having his memories awakened by Dustin with heavy metal, laying down a ballad that saves numerous town folk and saves his reputation, even though he knows he is being pupated and the light will go out when they defeat the beast in the end.
Imagine if season 5 comes out and he’s completely wrong about everything 😂
