Battle Escape will have screens. Animatronics and sets too but screens. The Falcon ride will be a simulator, no matter if it's interactive or not. Also, Mario Kart will be interactive with AR, with sets and Animatronics. What was that about making fake rides?
For the Falcon? No. It'll be just a simulator (think flight simulator). Battle Escape should have a perfect balance but they'll still use screens for some main scenes. For Nintendo Land, screens will be used for transitioning scenes. Multiple insiders have confirmed there will be massive usage of tech, AR, sets, animatronics used in MK; higher ratio of that than screens. and then theres the Yoshi ride and Donkey Kong ride.
I KNOW! I was hoping for a Speeder Bike roller coaster with trains and track similar to Tron at Shanghai Disney Resort, only themed to Star Wars. Seems to me like they're just adding 2 Star Tours...
the most fun I had at any park was fox studios in Melbourne fl. Sounds like what the starwars stuff coukd be like. Example: Titanic experience - You are in a room (waiting area) with museum pieces from the real titanic and then the walls opened up. I was amazed as in front of me was a full scale titanic. I know they used mirrors etc but at least the one section was life size. All of a sudden character come out and board you some go with the poor some with the rich who all have a different experience. I of course was in the poor lice infested passengers at the bottom while my friends got to go to the upper decks. It was like being in a live play with hundreds of actors. All of a sudden people were dancing to Irish music and then a huge iceberg crashed through the wall and water started pouring in. We had to run down cooridors that were filling with water ( idk how they knew how much water to flood w.o getting shoes soaked lol) We choose a door that was smoke or water and we ended up in the furnaces with guys swinging from steel chains and feeding the furnaces with coal. The heat and explosions were intense and people were dying all around us. We somehow ended up in the storage area with that car jack and rose were in actually had handprints inside windows lol. the cast grabbed a few of us to push the car out of the way as it was blocking our way. it was interactive the entire time boat moving side 2 side, explosions, guests having to help cast members and you really got caught up in all of it. Finally just as we thought we were making the upper decks we watched the water slowly rise as we drowned and then had to walk up the grand stair case but it looked like it was under water for all these years. I was speechless never experiencing anything like that ever. My friends of course survived amd made it into a life raft. So if they are having an entire land and attractions like this I am sure Disney will be the best place in the universe.

I don't know how any of these stories are going to work with thousands and thousands of people there. The whole layout looks like bottleneck nightmare. I will remain optimistic though, but can't even begin to imagine what July and August will be like.
Its because Universal set the standard for the modern theme park. If Disney wanted to keep up with Universal in the long run, they would have to start by joining that competition. It's what the public wants and the producers have to keep up with it and plus, popular IP lands= $$$ something Universal also started
