Freaking DW 6 LuBu man. I remember back then when I was restart playing Zhao Yun LV 20ish on hard difficulty. I thought it was easy battle for me, my level is high enough anyway for Hulao Gate LuBu battle. Cue 10 minutes later after my ass get beatdown by LuBu and my HP was red, regretting the decision I made. I decided to run to the base near Hulao Gate to get some HP back, as I was running with tails tucked between my leg, suddenly something black crossed the TV screen and my character was dead. I was shocked to witness that LuBu can throw his weapon as if it was a giant pseudo shuuriken/boomerang. To this day that shit burn into my memories and instill fear in me when fighting LuBu LOL
The twin halberd is just way too badass, glad it returned in 8 XL CE with Lingqi as its user and i even use it as Lu Bu thanks to the weapon switch system
@@masayuki2133 only for it to return as a DLC wep in DW9 lol. still great fun to use in DW9, but it does make you question their earlier decision making of not giving her that in the first place. sword & shield's low atk output just doesn't suit her.
We can fight him in LV 1 without horse. Use triangle combo frequently with a lil bit analog move. And don't forget to use dash to avoid his jump triangle and his other attacks. Save your musou to avoid instant death (use when you're attacked by him) I have done it so many times. What you need is fast hand to avoid and triangle combo
You know what made this theme more awesome? At Battle of Hu Lao Gate when he's appeared and more intensity and adrenaline for the players to finish the stage quickly especially for new player Lu Bu in that stage were very op back then and this theme just fit perfectly

Unlocking him and him saying can anyone provide me with a decent challenge is by far one of the most satisfying things I ever went through gaming....The best part though is I picked this game at random on a return for a game I hated....I found an amazing franchise on luck and never looked back and when they combined that with Samurai warriors a series I did play prior and LOVED, it was a match made in heaven

Loved the costume, but the weapon change was ridiculous. I mean, come on, classic Sky Scorcher was his signature weapon, why turn it into that weird...thing? Wish DW8 had that costume for Lu Bu to use, its my favourite next to the last one you get for him in DW4.

It's only a battle between you, Your Controller, Your moveset, Your reflex, and Lu Bu. U f up once, ur done. He can wipe you if your officer is lower than level 25 on Chaos Difficulty.

DW6 show the best of Lu Bu. His theme,outfit,voice,and weapon are perfect
