- My stock horn on my F150 decided to quit working, so I bought a replacement. It is the Big Rig Style Air Horn kit from MyPushCart on Amazon. Comes with two 25" trumpets, one 150psi air compressor, one 200psi 4 gallon air tank, one 100-150psi on/off pressure switch, and all hardware needed to install. I did not do the install myself. I probably could have, but I lack confidence in my electical skills. The kit itself was around $250-$280, and the install at the local car accessories shop was about $120. The horns crank out 147db per the packaging. For those looking for a semi-style air horn, I highly recommend this kit. Sounds like a Peterbilt or Mack. Hope you enjoy, like, subscribe, and leave a comment below!
not too shabby; having everyone looking around for a semi that isn't there... :-)
those horns are nice and also that door buzzer sounds like an electric shaver
Going to get a semi truck horn setup from a junkyard for my beater Silverado... can’t wait!
post a video once you have it installed!
I like your set up on you truck and i what to do that whit diferent size 26" and 29" hadley
3:26 nice, interesting how the freq of tones splits and starts to vibrate
yeah, not quite sure why it did that, but it does sound cool
thank you.
Air pressure dropped.
My friend came up on a full 5 horn train horn from a scrap yard and hooked it up to his truck. Loud as fuck! I seen train horn videos with the hi horns but this has 5 ranges and sounds like a full on train.
Yeah, I didn't want a train horn, I'm looking to motivate the person in front of me to move, not kill them due to a heart attack lol
My ass would have mounted those horns on the roof of the truck and threw some old school chrome torpedo cab lights. Not a ford guy but that truck would look awesome man lol
Johnathan Hatley haha yeah, it would look cool, but I didn’t do it for a few reasons. I didn’t want to take the risk of a roof leak at all. And I kinda like the fact that it’s a sleeper truck in terms of the horns. Nobody suspects anything, but if you cut me off, you get a rude awakening. Also, it is a standard 2wd truck with no lift/stock tires. Horns mounted on the roof on a truck this low to the ground might look a bit stupid.
Woulda fixed the rust before horns..
Nice truck bro
That's loads of fun! I had air horns on a 7.3L f350 95 dually love when ppl pull out in front of me
Clean OBS🤙🤙
Do you have a link for this product thanks
Doesn’t sound loud at all..
sounds exactly like a Peterbilt or Mack truck, since the horns are the same they use.
Hey bud...try getting some headphones and puttin them on max volume
Why not hook the horns up to the original horn switch
Much more expensive, we would've had to tear into the steering column. It was much easier to just pull the panel off and mount a momentary switch there.
caasiwms not really, just put the wire that is going to your switch for the air horns, to the existing wire that goes to your factory horn in the engine bay. In fact it probably would have been easier due to the fact you wouldn't have to run the wire inside the cab
the break in the wire was in the steering column, so I'd have had to tear into it anyway. This was was much less headache and cheaper too. I had to run a wire inside the cab anyway to run the pump on/off, so this made much more sense.
caasiwms ah didnt realise the wire was broke my bad
