I used to think drug addicts were disgusting junkies that deserve their situations because they made stupid decisions, then I eventually became one. I struggled with recovery at first, but somewhere along the way I realized that I needed to embrace my old lesser judgment of addicts in order to help myself abstain from drugs. I was so mentally torn down that I had no ego or sense of worth, and to pull myself back up I needed to reassert my disdain towards drug users. So rather ironically I used my judgement of those I had viewed as lesser than my whole life to convince my ego that I'm too good to be in that group. I don't go around crapping all over junkies now, but I do still use those silent judgements as fuel for my sobriety when those hard days come. I love your videos , I haven’t watched in a few months. Your questions have taken a sterile , rapid fire, almost monotone robotic tone. I don’t know how to explain it other than that. Like there is no emotion behind the question. I know you actually try and help these people, get the women out of prostitution and away from their pimps. No doubt your doing good. Please don’t take my comment as a slight. Just was simply an observation. Thanks
Jay, thank you for saying this ,as it has been bothering me ! I know Mark truly cares about the people he interviews but I have a really hard time with the tone of his questions. Why not change it up with starting the conversation with "how are you feeling today?" save the "where did you grow up? for later in the conversation.
I don't hear that when I listen to Mark interview these different people. He's done thousands of interviews and has talked to all walks of life. Most of those being people whom are shunned. He's doing a fine job. I don't know how else anyone could expect him to talk..? He's basically being an outlet for their voices to be heard. Otherwise most of us wouldn't know that there are so many hurting people out there of every kind. I'm not being rude. I'm just saying how I feel as well. This channel has really helped me in my prayer life. I hope people don't come after me but I want to help most of them and I can't with financial support to get them help. So, I pray for them. Certain ones make a huge impact in my heart. ❤️🙏🏽🕊️
Let's pray for all the people who are interviewed on this channel that makes us see a terrible reality. I feel sadness for people that you see are brilliant and imprisoned by drugs and this terrible and hard life... I would like to know about Rebecca, how is she?
When he said his mother was in prison for murder I almost choked 🥺 *poor baby _ get away from the Xanax in fentanyl_Prayers zach Ps. Open up a tattoo shop dude you're talented you have talent a lot of people have zero talent I mean maybe but yours is so obvious don't sleep on it too much longer... Pss. Some families can be a detriment to your health cut the umbilical cord find your soul tribe, and live your life #clean..🙏🏽
I pray you are safe today brother, and that you keep allowing God into your heart. Your love is there, hold tight…and stay focused on where you wanna go. If you say you can do it, you have the power inside to do so. I believe in you.
Until an addict is ready , they will not get sober. Even if they may want to .. even if they agree and intellectually understand all the advice and encouragement. Until they are really ready , most likely they will not get sober. Sobriety is hard and scary. The first step being the hardest. Most addicts will relapse a number of times before sobriety and everyone’s number of times is different . Be kind , loving , patient , strong and understanding as much as you can be while holding firm boundaries with the addict you love. Educate yourself too … this helps everyone involved. Speaking from direct experience as a mom who on many days and what seemed like eternity, felt my child wasn’t going to make it. He is 25 years sober now with a career , family and living a full and heathy life. NOTHING I said made a difference until HE was sick and tired of the insanity and chaos affecting all aspects of his life as a result of his addiction. Not easy. Can be done if a person is ready and has strong support.
This man was so smart they wouldn't give him a GED... come on how much sense does that make. The more interviews I listen to the less I belive theese people
It can be a (poor) way of dealing with bad realities. I had a bad home life and made up fantasies that tipped over into lying. I guess it shows a lack of confidence (even if it looks like arrogance).
He has beautiful bone structure , give him a good make over , he’d be an attractive guy and get what he wants 👀. I know the make over would have to start Internally first .
Just going to be honest here, if you'd remove the Bieber hairdo and imagine doing this interview without it, he'd look like and get seen as every other young Fentanyl addict in these interviews. Now fix up a well-styled hairdo on the dude w/bangs and locks for the shoot and all of a sudden the comments become, "OMG, this is horrible! He seems like such a genuine, good person with a kind heart! I see so much hope in him! Don't give up Zack, you're so cute!"
Do you think you could ever do an interview, where you actually talk to somebody that has something positive to say? Somebody who's not so down and out? Maybe doing an interview with somebody that's doing something good!
This guy is seething mad about not having a sense of belonging. He cares greatly about his appearance, like it's everything to him. He has no willingness to be vulnerable. Quite an affront he has. Probably one of Mark's shortest ever interviews!
In regards to this guy's looks and intelligence from other comments - If I may, I believe, as for looks, he has that skinny model look now; he still has his teeth and can finish a sentence without fidgeting and picking his skin open. And we notice he is articulate...that doesn't measure intelligence. However, if we are honest and stop objectifying this young guy, we all know what's in store for him, and just around the corner...Unless he becomes purposeful about his life choices and deliberately starts to turn it around. Looks don't last, especially when you start to lose your teeth and stink. There seems to be some time for him at this point, but time moves forward for us all and our choices matter so much, esp as we get older. Prayers for you Zack - gut up and do right for yourself. No one else can.
Imho he’s self-medicating cuz he hasn’t got better opportunities. Put him in a supportive, healthy community and give him a job that pays enough to support himself and he’d be ok
For the majority of jobs a high school diploma is not necessary. An employer just wants to see if you have the ability to do the job. So don't let not having a diploma hold you back.
Tell black people that who can't get a job even with a college degree 🙄 If your name is Keisha with a degree they won't call you back but if you're name is "Zach" on drugs you have a chance?🙄 That's why we're moving to Ghana Nigeria Jamaica anywhere instead of the US.
It’s almost impossible to be ok with out a mother , my heart breaks for this broken soul and I’m broken yet my heart hurts for these people never think they are bad , just broken . God where are you ?
I hope you read some of the supporting comments to your guests... I mean if you dedicate some follow up interviews, where your guests can read some positive loving comments about them.
It pains me to see him, being so young. He’s got a long road ahead of him. The arrogance and exaggerations. He’s trying to convince someone of his worth.

It still amazes me that so many people on this channel can remember exact dates, and also how many mention God.
He basically said "nothign easier than quitting drugs, I've done it a thousand times" I don't think he really grasps how deep he's in. Hope he gets adequate help.
He’s clean now🥴
@@clickingmethodsukand how do you know he's clean now where's the proof
When you have nothing you have to invent something. I'm a bit at the same page. The difference is that I know that I'm BS myself. Hope he does the same. He is a nice young man.
Zack you are a young man with so much more life ahead of you. Don’t let your past define your future. CHOOSE a different path. You are worth it. ❤
The generational baggage is strong with this one.
Born in Elvis Presley's hometown! 😎
Louisiana here!
Good morning my friend, have a great Sunday!!! Elvis and some good honey as well!!!!!!!
Wat up home slice! ✌️😎
Thanks
I think this tone had to do with the subject.
❤️🙏🏽🕊️
Such a handsome young man. I pray he gets his thoughts and life on the right track with Yahsua.

Let's pray for all the people who are interviewed on this channel that makes us see a terrible reality. I feel sadness for people that you see are brilliant and imprisoned by drugs and this terrible and hard life... I would like to know about Rebecca, how is she?
So many fentanyl addicts

Fentanyl is an opioid, but street fentanyl is mixed with xylazine which is a veterinary tranquilizer
When he said his mother was in prison for murder I almost choked 🥺 *poor baby _ get away from the Xanax in fentanyl_Prayers zach Ps. This guy is a genius , zack youre a genius
LEO NARDO IS A TARDO, WIV' HIS SILLY COMMENTS.
He not a genius. He's a POS.
Seriously.... High IQ low wisdom. Bad combo. He needs to get real with himself. I pray he has the wisdom for his journey.
He has a lot of life in his eyes. Just by the thumbnail you can see it in his eyes
@Mark, you ever consider doing videos from a different country?
Dude made 200 off a QP that’s terrible
😂😂😂
exactly what I was thinkin 😂😂
This man was so smart they wouldn't give him a GED... come on how much sense does that make. The more interviews I listen to the less I belive theese people
It can be a (poor) way of dealing with bad realities. I had a bad home life and made up fantasies that tipped over into lying. I guess it shows a lack of confidence (even if it looks like arrogance).
@@jonb12321 good point
Yes this is sad. He is obviously lying about a lot. He seems very lonely but won’t admit it.
He’s a zombie bro
In prison they won’t let you take GED if you pass with flying colors
Solids questions on this one..been in love before..what emotions do you experience..
I like this guy's hat.

@Boon Teenth his hair looks like a hat
Good luck man! Thank you for sharing !
I love this human.
I love this channel & am supportive of most stories but it’s disappointing when they are full of half truths - when you know- you know… Mark knows
Yes this why I rarely watch these anymore
Do you think you could ever do an interview, where you actually talk to somebody that has something positive to say? Somebody who's not so down and out? Maybe doing an interview with somebody that's doing something good!
If you’re feeling too down or tired of all the sad stories there is plenty of happy content on this app. SWU is for exactly what he posts.
I had a best friend growing up named Zach. He's an addict too. Needless to say I don't hang with him anymore
weird
Weird comment.
That's good news for your friend.
Wise 🦉 choice ✅✅✅
okay
My son wants to be interviewed. He needs to tell his story. It would be your best interview. I promise. His life has been insane. He's 28.

This guy is awesome. I hope he does well and I have a feeling he will do well.
called it!
Good morning my SWU family. Hugs and kisses 🤗🤗🤗🤗😘😘😘😘😘

He is from my home town area. I grew up in Byhalia, MS about 30 mins from Tupelo.
It’s almost impossible to be ok with out a mother , my heart breaks for this broken soul and I’m broken yet my heart hurts for these people never think they are bad , just broken . God where are you ?
And it is just as impossible without a father
Yay he’s sober now!!
I hope you read some of the supporting comments to your guests... I mean if you dedicate some follow up interviews, where your guests can read some positive loving comments about them.
I love his hair. It's pretty and thick.
He looks pretty healthy for a person using this amount of drugs
It pains me to see him, being so young. He’s got a long road ahead of him. The arrogance and exaggerations. He’s trying to convince someone of his worth.
Looking like Elvis. Blessings to you Zack...
Freaked me out when he mentioned Tupelo, Ms. That's where I am from. Poor guy had a rough life from the get go & possibly some mental issues.
My name is Zack and I am also from Tupelo Mississippi
