Is my puppy smarter than my adult dogs? To find the answer I decided it would be fair to test their intelligence through 6 fun games. All the games were meant to see how well and fast each dog can solve a certain problem, all to be able to answer the main question: Is my puppy smarter than my adult dogs?

It just takes one puppy to show what a puppy is capable of. And the reason both Tiger and Leo participated is because they're different breeds.
And also Simba belongs to their friends. 😉

When you play which hand need to make both hand smell like the treat by rubbing it on your hands
Even that doesn't help, as dogs can easily distinguish the amount of smell between the full and empty hand.
They have about 40x more olfactory cells in their nasal mucosa than humans, plus the shape of their nostrils helps them identify the direction a scent is coming from as well as gather more of its molecules in general. This all compounds to a sense of smell that's about 50-100x better than what humans can do.
If someone is going to have a dog, don't just say they want to, but they must make sure they have 4:
1. Time
2. Power
3. Mind
4. Money must be there
If you don't have all 4, you should not have to look after them instead of keeping them for a day or 2 after that it bothers a lot of people, the dog is given to the shelter, thrown on the street.
And make sure that if they are over 45 years old, you shouldn't get a new dog because we never know that a dog can be over 10 or 15 years old, while you only work until you are 55 or 60 years old, after that you will retire and you will have no more money to live with. more budget for your dog.

I didn't like when she put the treat under the bed out of reach. It made Leo genuinely sad, and me as well. Most of these videos are great, but occasionally there is a mean spot and it's a downer.

Tiger was definitely more tenacious than his big brother and niece when it came to the treat under the bed challenge 😄 Nala looked so sad after the cup challenge, but she was so cute throughout the whole time 🙂
thats why GSDs are so trainable, they have high food drive and tenacity

So, my takeaway from this is that GSDs are actually more food motivated than Retrievers. I would never have guessed that!
It has nothing to do with food motivation. German Shepherds are highly intelligent there understand what you want them to do. That is why police, military and other services use this dogs .
