We adopted two Golden Retrievers last year after their owner went into care. Mack is now 11 and his daughter, Bailey, is 5. They have brought such joy into our lives.

What he is actually doing is showing that the pup is in his personal space and he is not in the mood to play or cuddle.

Reminds me when I first brought my retriever into my household to introduce it to my huskies as a new family member. The retriever was scared of them, I think it's because of his memories of getting abandoned. But my huskies were gentle, by giving them the balls or the plushies to hug and play with. They'd sleep next to him every day, and now as I'm typing this, he's current;y running around with my huskies in our yard. They're playing tag :)

I never thought I would watch other people 's dogs literally for hours, although I have my own to watch. But I am very happy I am not alone in the world with my love for dogs 😍

This is the sweetest thing I’ve seen this last days, but I cried so much. I had a golden, his name was Summer. He was one year and two months old, and was so happy, docile, loyal. He made my days so happy. Unfortunately, he had cancer and it took him away from us, just a few weeks ago. And I would do anything to have him back. One thing I can say for everyone who owns these little angels: enjoy every day, make them happier than the day before. They deserve everything, and still, they just want love.

I feel your pain bro. It's been over 20 years since I lost my dog and I still think about her daily. Innitially I would cry because I missed her but slowly I started smiling and even laughing when I thought of her and the wonderful memories. Even after they pass away they still continue to give us joy.
Agreed, you will keep those good memories always! It will get easier with time, I know from experience! Our family dog, Toby (2003-2017), was such a good boy!
Bailey has to be the most patient, agreeable dog I've come across. He accepts every animal, regardless of what kind, and treats them all with gentleness and care. He's perfect for parents who are are the males and female versions of Dr. Doolittle.

The thought of sitting on the sofa covered in hairs, dog smells, possible fleas picked up when they were outside playing and not to mention their sometimes smelly rear ends makes me want to puke. Plus the first picture of them on a bed …yuck! My friend has a doggie sofa just for them, not the one he uses. I like dogs but often wonder about their owners! Felt sorry for the Labrador having to fight off an over energetic puppy. Best to get two young dogs and bring them up together I would have thought? Not an interesting video, …..noisy, disruptive, dogs which their owners find entertaining for some strange reason.

Looks like my home 10 years ago: my 5year old golden when we brought a tiny mixbreed really didn't know what to do, then they became playmates, now the younger is the eyes and ears for the golden who lost his sight and hearing. They are inseparable 💕

Just came across this video & what a sweet pair these two wonderful dogs make. Still dealing with my broken heart after having to put down my beautiful Scottie part collie & sheepdog a week ago today, these two adorable dogs brought me so much joy. I hope they live forever🐾🐾

This is the cutest ever! I love German Shepherds and Goldens as well, and seeing them being all cute and silly is the best. I like how they both tried to lay on the same spot on the couch as big dogs and they couldn't fit lol 🥰
The thought of sitting on the sofa covered in hairs, dog smells, possible fleas picked up when they were outside playing and not to mention their sometimes smelly rear ends makes me want to puke. Plus the first picture of them on a bed …yuck! My friend has a doggie sofa just for them, not the one he uses. I like dogs but often wonder about their owners! Felt sorry for the Labrador having to fight off an over energetic puppy. Best to get two young dogs and bring them up together I would have thought? Not an interesting video, …..noisy, disruptive, dogs which their owners find entertaining for some strange reason.

Looks like my home 10 years ago: my 5year old golden when we brought a tiny mixbreed really didn't know what to do, then they became playmates, now the younger is the eyes and ears for the golden who lost his sight and hearing. They are inseparable 💕

So cute! I have had both a German Shepherd and a golden retriever. They are both wonderful dogs. They have very different personalities, but I can see how they could complement each other very well. And both of them just really want to be lapdogs! And I love how they are both allowed on all the furniture! Just like my dog.❤
