Leagan de na liricí: MO CHAILÍN BÁN Ar an bhaile seo tá cailín deas, `S í cúis mo bhróin `s mo chrá `S níl leigheas ann dom ach leigheas an bháis, Mura féidir liom í fháil, Is brónach déarach tá mo chroí, Nuair atá mé i bhfad óm' ghrá `S í grá mo chroí, `s í péarla an domhain Mo rún, mo chailín bán. Tá a súil níos gile ná an ghrian Ag soilsiú ins an spéir; `Gus is deirge a grua nó an dion I ngloiní geala `s glé. Tá a béal níos milse ná an mhíl, `S a cúilín min is lán; `S í grá mo chroí, `s í péarla an domhain Mo rún, mo chailín bán. Tá beagán Gaeilge ag mo ghrá, Ár dteanga álainn féin; `S is binne liomsa guth na mná Ná ceolta binn na n-éan. Ag éisteacht lena canúint bhreá Ó chaithfinn bliain iomlán `S ag déanamh comhrá dheas go brách Lem' rún, lem' chailín bán. Cé gur annamh liom a labhraíonn sí Fós feicim í le háil, Le dóchas mór go mbeadh sí liom Mar chéile is mar ghrá Níl aici orm ach dímheas fuar, A lionas mo chroí le crá 'S í fós go deo mo ghrá gan ghó, Mo rún, mo chailín bán.
Míle maith agat a chara, sin íontach deas ar fad, mar do bhímse ag lorg na focail ar an t-idirlíne, an bhfuil fhios agatsa cé hÍ an chailín atá ag casadh an t-Amhráin ?
@@CelticSongs Irish (Celtic) music does make use of patterns of combinations of notes. I think that is one of the reasons it is a music well liked (and often played) by many other cultures. My personal introduction was through American traditional music (folk song). Since taking up the Irish bouzouki, though, I have discovered much more of the music. And I have noticed a "Irishness" in the music that I was here-to-fore un-aware of. An accent if you will, although I feel that description is insufficient. I enjoy the music I find on Port Celtic Songs. It is exceptionally well executed and presented in lovely, evocative settings. Thank you, one and all for the experience. T.
When I was a boy , my grandmother would speak Gaelic around the table. This brings back fond memories.
No matter what language, our love sounds beautiful 🥰😚💖❤💜💞❤🔥

Vielen dank - I can usually find lyrics with Google search but not MO CHAILÍN BÁN.
Beautiful...makes me proud to be Irish.
Me too I'm half Celtic but unfortunately I live in America. I always wished I could visit this beautiful place.

Luke Kelly sang an English version written by Kavanagh, my life song. I switch to this one, I'm sure I got this Gaelic song somewhere

En gaelico la musica celta es autentica.

Irlandés. Gaelico es la cultura. Irlandés es la idioma.

Absolutely wonderful... I don't understand Gaelic, but it really doesn't matter here. The music speaks for itself.
Ar fheabhas! 💚💚. Is breá liom Gaeilge.
Iontach ar fad
Tá deora i mo shúile ag éisteacht leis an draíocht sin, nár lagóidh Dia sibh go foill.

Sounds familiar to me. A lot like Dawning of the Day (Raglan Road). Prettier and more soulful. Better in my thought.
That's an interesting point you make

Sounds like the same tune as "Raglan Road" ...
