I allways remember being a teen and walking to sent Mary's church kinkasslagh with my daddy and the mulladuff band playing Halle Glorious sent Patrick ☘☘☘☘☘☘☘☘☘🙏🙏♥️
My Grandfather when he was alive, we would watch the Celtic games, we would sing Celtic songs, but he would sing this, he said it rang out at Parkhead for years in the 20s to about 60s, I always remember the ending, "For God and St Patrick" good times, and we are still winning 🍀🇮🇪🏴🍀🙏
We sung this at our primary school in Scotland every St Patrick's ,St Kenneth's primary,my mum had a shamrock plant and we all wore shamrock pinned on our lapel🙏🙏🙏❤️
My dad was a proud Irish man.We played Hail Glorious St Patrick at his funeral
Fabulous rendition Daniel'O Donnell.
Great patriotic video, I love Erin’s green valleys ❤🇮🇪
Great Catholic Bishop, missionary to the Irish. He didn't go to patriotize but to convert the pagans.
God bless ireland

I wish he'd sung the other two verses.
We always sang ‘a heretic throng’, not an “ infidel” one
So did we, 1960s in London
