  • I'm building an RC split biplane flying wing... of sorts. This is a video of how I've mixed Aileron, Elevator, Rudder and Speed Brake into the four wings' control surfaces. The plane has yet to fly, but I'll add links to flight videos once it does.

Interesting sir! For jaw (rudder) I would personally change things, to only have the servo's move on the side you are stearing towards..
The way you have it setup now, you'll add (allmost) the same amount of drag on each side.

DutchRC ADVENTURES I like that idea! I was thinking similarly... I'll try it both ways to see which is more effective in practice.

Nifty, What kind of motor/prop are you going to put on it?

damage.cc First I'm going to try a Sunnysky 2216 1250kv on 3S with a 9x6 or 10x5 mounted on the nose as a tractor. I want this to be a VTOL aircraft since I can't imagine it landing normally without cartwheeling!

I never got this project flying but it's still on the back burner. It will surely be on the Team Legit channel when I do.

I built something very similar with this video as my inspiration but I don't have the resources to get electronics in it. it glides okay from a throw.
