Gallup Poll: Women Still Doing Most Household Chores

- Despite the ongoing efforts for gender equality, so-called "traditional" household roles have not changed. A new study shows women are still doing most of the chores; CBS2's Scott Rapoport reports.
Hey women what if... We stopped? Would men still love us if their spouses stopped doing the majority of chores and scaled back a little? Or do men just marry women for their looks and free labor? This is why I don't want to ever be married to a straight man.

Men tend to not mind if they live in a pig sty. They care more about how the lawn looks to the neighbors than what the inside looks like to guests. How sad is it that we have to practically beg men to be adults and pickup after themselves. The vast majority of the mess, outside of small children, is made by men. I make as much as my husband and work as many hours if not more, which he gets pissy about my hours, and yet I still do more housework than he does! And I help him with yard work and lifting heavy stuff.
@@ShowMeMo well that's good for you but mostly that's not how it is women usually do the easy stuff inside with AC while men go outside in 90 degree weather to mow etc
Employ a cleaner, take the washing to be cleaned and get the weekly shopping delivered if both people work full time. Also hire a gardener and handyman to do all of the man jobs.
If you're in a marriage you have to divide the chores if one is working outside obviously the other has to take care of the house. You can't be selfish in a marriage and only think about yourself.
And men are doing most of the yard work, car and house maintenance. Laundry, a machine does the work. Dishes, a machine does the work.
Men invented the machines to lessen the house work.
Employ a cleaner, take clothes to be cleaned every week if both people work full time. Also employ someone to do lawn mowing and a handyman to fix things that need doing so the male housework jobs are covered too.
Why don’t they ever make studies on who picks up most of the tab ??? 🤔

Yesss, I agree. I have been bringing in the same amount of money or even a lot more but I still do the majority of the cleaning and cooking. I am tired of this. I rather be single forever.
Then work part time and have your significant other pay 2/3 of the bills! If you're really living in hectic mode because of (mgtow) content then start reasonably delegating things while everything is going well for both of you. It's not that hard to cook and then ask who you cooked for to wash the dishes...
Was being the family landscaper, mechanic, plumber, pool man, tutor, psychiatrist, automotive detailer, cook, and all around handyman part of this poll? I don't think so
It's teamwork around our home .... she cleaning upstairs, I'll do downstairs. I can do my own laundry & have no problem with that. She loves to cook, so she runs me out the kitchen ... I would love for her to pay for our trips we take HA

Please don't lump all men or women into a. Group.. this man cook all the meals.. I clean house..I wash at least half the clothes and I do the yard work
Looks like you are doing too much.
You're the exception.
I do my laundry, cook for myself and even do my own taxes, roll my own cigarettes, handle all of my errands (car maintenance ect) and even do my quarterly taxes! The only two things I hate doing is grocery shopping although I've gotten much better and fast at it and my taxes! I can definitely say my job is worse than all of that combined!
If a man cant help wife to do house chores, thats meant man should chop off their hand and sit down there. Just only weird family will teach their sons sitting down there without doing any house chores. Unless the man can earn money like Donald Trump
They can both work full time and pay for everything else to be done. No more housework inequality.
Sure, women in the house suffer and have the worst job, it’s not like men can be exploited at job or need to do something harder than cleaning dishes or cleaning the house 🫤
By the way I. Do all I said even though I will soon have a neck fusion and two total knee replacements..I is unfair to say what most men or most women do unless you.can poll all the 300 million plus in the USA.. and that is only a small part of the whole world
