Waa! If I had seen those tips a bit earlier, i would have saved several hours of fizzling around with that optanium material. Quite a bit Heavy to replace them dry!
Good question, some people prefer the convenience of having a second frame of the same style if they're hard on their gear or just looking for a different frame color. The Radar is considered an interchangeable lens design, and the purchase of additional lenses for various lighting conditions to swap out in the same frame is something alot of folks do as well. Just general hand soap which should not cause any damage to the frame. Hope this helps!
Not sure if they're an authorized retailer of genuine Oakley products, but many of the options seem legitimate. However, it's sometimes safer to get it straight from the manufacturer.
I have a question that I was wondering if you could answer. I have a pair of Oakley Coilover 5043-03 and didn't know what ear socks would fit them as they are 4 years old. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Matt! Sorry for the delayed answer, we had to do some research on this. Oakley no longer makes earsocks for that frame but our Oakley experts say the replacement earsocks for Oakley Transistor or Jackknife might be compatible with your frame. Both are back ordered right now and not available on Oakley's site, but if you'd like to try them you can contact us at info@sportrx.com and we'll get them for you. Since we can't guarantee the compatibility, you can always return them for a full refund in case they don't fit.
Unfortunately, we are not able to get our hands on the Jackknife because it's been discontinued for a while. The method for swapping the earsocks is largely the same, though!
Hi there! Oakley does not make grips for the Frogskins but you can always check out the Frogskins Mix here: www.sportrx.com/oakley-frogskins-mix.html This sunglass has a coat of Unobtanium around the temple arm which increases grip. Hope this helps!
Hi there! In most cases, spare parts are hard to come by. You can always reach out to one of our certified opticians to check on replacement part availability for you: www.sportrx.com/contact
Hey Kaleb! Thanks for commenting and leaving us some feedback. I will speak with Sunglass Rob and see if we can get a tutorial video up on how to replace ear socks for the half jacket 2.0 frames.
hello, can anyone tell me the best way to clean my Oakley crosslink earsocks? I have used Oakley for years as a cyclist and the "rubber" breaking down was just expected as your using them for hours on end in the sun, heat and your sweat. I did not however think my RX glasses would be so quick to do the same. I wash them every night when I get home in a mild dish soup, thinking my body oils are not good for the longevity. unfortunately this has not helped as they are starting to become gummy and brake down. Thank you for any info or help you can give. side note: emailed Oakley who said "Thank you for your email. We would not suggest washing the ear socks every night. When you do wash the ear socks, we would suggest using water to do so. " Just did not give much information such as no don't use soap as it will brake down the earsocks.
Hello Sean! So far we have not come up with a solution to prolonging the life of earsocks. Washing them is a great idea but the Unobtanium is probably also soaking up the soap and water which would probably has an affect in breaking them down. There is no specific way to extract your body oils from the Unobtanium which is why Oakley offers replacement ear socks for many of their sport frames. Sorry we couldn't be more helpful to you!
Thank you so much for your info and time. do you have any thoughts for day to day use then? should I just do nothing in regards to cleaning them? also do you sell kits for the earsocks and noise for the crosslink sweep ox8033? Thank you again for your time. @@sportrxeyewear
Hello Sean! It may be best to simply dry them off after you sweat in them. We do not carry replacement parts on hand but one of our opticians can always reach out to check on the availability and see if we can put in an order for you! You can reach an optician here: www.sportrx.com/contact

@@sportrxeyewear Thank you.. I having Oakley EV Radar .. but my lense got scratches, so it would be worth if i change only the lense?
Anytime! If the frame is in good shape then that might be the most cost-effective option👍
I have already bought one lense from Amazon. Its under shipment. Does Amazon US sell the genuine oakley prizm lense ?
