I have always enjoyed making little bundles. And like you I love collecting sticks, stones, shells, leaves. So I love your idea of putting them into my art and my little bundles. Love your channel you are sooo inspiring.
These are wonderful they reminded me of birds nest, I love how they gather everything to make there little home. I think they would be great on a cover
@@SusanTaylorBrown yes fairies too If you don't have time for journals at the moment you could always decorate a board up with them on - to stick on front when you're ready) crazy your just about to go bed and I'm just starting my day 😜
I guess im randomly asking but does any of you know of a way to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
Found you by accident, wow,I have been collecting things for years and didnt know what to do with them I do now thankyou from cold South Wales . In lockdown so cant wait to start playing
So glad I stumbled onto this. I am so not into the sterile kits that so many use. I live in the forest and have so many fibers and textures and colors and stones collected from my daily walks. Thank you again Susan.
I so agree with you about the sterile kits! I have used some beautiful ones for journal requests to sell and added to them in my own way, but it just doesn't seem genuine to me personally. Of course everyone needs to follow their own heart and I have seen many beautiful journals made with kits, it just not for me.
O no, another great idea! 😛💖 I'm just a beginner and already see so much nice things I would like to make. So sorry I left te live, I didn't know someone else was going live at the same time to answer my questions. I felt guilty, was so happy joining your live. 😊
Just watched this again Susan. I just love watching you make clusters, you are so good at it. In my sorting/reorganising into the new shelves I came across some embroideries on nuno felt that I did couple of years ago and a whole bunch of scraps, shredded chiffon, and other stuff. I might have to do some clusters with some of that. Although atm I am in a sock knitting phase. Recently bought some new sock yarn and I am experimenting and reshaping to fit better.
I have been on the ill health planet with hubby for a few months and have missed so many video's... doubt I am going to catch up but I am going to try... lol... I love these Susan... I really need to start collecting me thinks... Cheers for Sharing... x
You are so talented and inspiring. This is the very beginning of my journey into making junk journals. You let my mind embrace all the possibilities and run with it. Thank you.
I am going into a nature cluster phase again as I work on a mushroom woodland journal. I have rewatched your nature cluster videos and just wanted to let you know how inspiring your are! Thank you for sharing your talent.
Wonderful. I have a felt board I keep for ‘fabric clouds’ ,those shreds and fibers that come from tearing and distressing. I lightly roll them and they just stick on. Moving them around gives me ideas and surprises, or they make me happy with their existence and I marvel at the process that brought textiles to this point, or, or, or…..thanks for putting your story out so we other ‘own way’ people can enjoy….Kath
Super video! Super ideas and super messiges! Thank you!! II use for my junk art what I have at home and I also take junk from carbige (junk hunting) and I use this for my art projects. Most junk journalists buy a lot of new things for junk journals. I think that's ridiculous because in my opinion this junk journaling, junk art is no longer junk ... that's a fake junk ... ridiculous because then the thing loses its real message: the recycling of garbage :) Thank you!
Just found your channel...love these nature clusters...your chatting really resonates with me, as I also have collections of stones, natural items etc. that I have collected along the journey of life. Can't wait to make some of these for my journals...many thanks for this inspirational video.
Hi Susan, I discovered you just last week and so happy that I did! I love the nature theme of your site! I just watched the book series that you had suggested, and was so happy with the two that I'd ordered! I've done lots of fabric clusters, but this is just soooo interesting! I love these thus far, and can't wait to see what else you create along with Mother Nature. Thanks so much for sharing!
these are great ideas........but what are Nature clusters? and how do you use them? are these like bits of things that help to give you ideas and inspiration and also help you see what things go well with what you are planning to make at that moment? thank you for this video......i just came across it just now when i was looking for creative ideas now.......
Lovely Susan. I love Spanish Moss and bark from paper trees but it tends have bugs living in it. Any suggestions to ensure I don't bring critters inside? 🥰🐞🤗
I Love so much your work. I am fan ! May I ask you which kind of sewing thread do you use ? I am not very good on stitching ! Thank you very much for all these vidéos and your response 🥰🥰🥰
I'm so relieved I found this video. It's like getting permission to slow down.
💚💚💚 yes. Take you time

I’d rather live in the moment and feel what I’m doing. I agree with you. I was on a mass production trip but it’s so much better to enjoy each step.

I'm thinking these would make interesting wearable pendants. Make appropriate cordage to hang around neck. Just playing with ideas.
Adorable, love the blue one, they all so pretty

These are gorgeous Susan. With a bit more attention to secure attachment they could be worn as brooches, maybe like an artificial corsage. tfs xoxo
