A really great comparison! It's funny when my wife and I would go to restaurants in Korea, she'd always get the bibimnaengmyeon because she likes spicy food and I'd always get the mulnaengmyeon. Naengmyeon is the prefect summer food. :)
I was always surprised that Thai and the rest of SEA don’t have a version of Nengmeun (cold spicy noodles). I think it would contrast the hot weather there. If you like Thai fusion food, try the Chinese Thai food. You can find a lot of it in Yawarat area aka ‘China Town’.😅 Great video.
Another fun cooking and tasting experiment! Neng mien is so wonderful for those hot humid summers. You both certainly work well in a small hotel room kitchen. Question: were the prices of the imported Korean ingredients like gochujung a lot more than what you would normally pay in Korea?
Nice comparison, I wish I was there the try it 😋. Give us a tour of the place you are staying…it looks very nice. How long are you there, how did you find it, and how much does it cost?
@@abitdifferentkoreans Wow what a pity. No worries i’m confident there will be a day when you come. I wish you all the best in your interesting journey. Fighting!!! 💪

Thanks for watching. We're the same. I usually go for mulnaenmyeon and Jin has bibimnaengmyeon~
So great that you both cook and love the food. I am foodie myself and appreciate any tasty food. Thank you for sharing. Cheers
Our pleasure!

Glad you enjoyed it~ The imported products were 30~50% more expensive than Korea on average, but it wasn't outrageous price.

You mean the place we stayed in? We found it through Airbnb. The cost for a day was less than $35.
Good video
Thanks!
Two different styles, but delicious
Yes they are!
Do you guys plan to visit Vietnam? lol will love to say hello if you visit my town of Hanoi.
Wow thank for invitation! Unfortunately, we won't be able to visit Vietnam as our 1 year travel insurance doesn't cover Vietnam somehow😅
