- Just like chicken fingers , but vegan, and oil free! Thank you Kathy Hester for this delicious vegan take on a popular favorite-southern fried “chicken fingers”.
Kathy calls this a “cheat” meal and although it is healthy and clean, it feels that way. Crispy chicken-like fingers, seasoned just right, and air fried, this is a quick and easy way to enjoy your treat.
Soy curls are a versatile form of soy when prepared and seasoned well. They are simply soy that is cooked, shaped, and dried. Nothing added, nothing subtracted. Kathy recommends, and I too prefer Butler brand, available in whole foods stores and on Amazon.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. Soy curls can be quite a welcome addition for people who still want the mouthfeel of meat. Good luck finding them. I tried the ones made in China and was not happy with quality. Butlers is it trustworthy brand made in America, which, of course isn’t much help to you there. I’m glad you liked the cat 🐱

Yes, they’re actually rather pricey on Amazon. I bought them there initially, and then I found them at our natural foods market for $6.00 a a bag.
The first recipe I used was Kathy Hester’s southern fried (air fried) chicken fingers. My grandkids thought they were eating real chicken fingers.

you should separate the bag small, medium and large pieces for different recipes that use different sizes
looks great but we can only get soy pieces here in Ireland. I might try air fry with firm soya

@@NanSimonsen hi Nan I made it for dinner. It was amazing. My sons loved the tofu with this breading. I only had coarse meal so I ground it down a bit. I made the mushrooms and onions and I also did the mash with cauliflower. It was a fantastic dinner on this cold evening here. I love your videos thanks

Thanks for your comments Judy. I had a hard time maneuvering their website from my iPhone Safari browser, and called the company and was able to talk to a rep. He suggested that I open it on Google Chrome which I did. In the meantime he opened an account for me and added your name as the referring person.😊
Thank you very much for this. The prices are definitely far less expensive for this product. I felt guilty about the Amazon high price.
