Your point is well taken. I wish I could say I'm tough enough to eat all that stuff as a salad. But this blender idea might work. I need to buy a blender, and get some kale, broccoli, flax seeds, frozen fruit, bananas, and maybe grapes. Good demonstration! Edited to say I like the choice of drinking by straw or regular glass drinking.
For a really smooth blend that grinds up the flax and Chia-which you can be added whole-if it’s in the budget, I recommend a Vitamix blender. Costco currently has one on sale.☺️

Thank you, Charles! This is so different from commercial smoothies. The amount of pure and healthy, deep, leafy, green and cruciferous vegetables, with only 25% fruit, keeps it a powerhouse of nutrition. One way to think of it is that you’ve chosen to blend a huge salad, rather than sitting down to chew at all. And when you do that every day, it really makes a difference with your cellular health, and immune system. The flax and Chia seeds in this are a big part because of their omega-3 content. And I don’t want to minimize the water in the protocol, again also very important. Sorry for the lecture, you got me going. I’m excited about your interest in this👍👏 🌻🥰🌻

I’m getting a few copies of your book. I just HAVE to and give them as gifts to my mom and mother-in-law. My mom has survived breast cancer twice in the last decade and she’s just a couple years younger than you and today she looks and feels just as beautiful and amazing as you do, Nan. She is so healthy, her skin glows, she’s youthful much like you with a lovely personality. She’s also aging backwards! I showed her your videos and she learns so much from you. You’ve been a blessing. My lovely mother-in-law is dealing with an unknown-something, possibly autoimmune. What are you looking to reverse, and what have you found to be the greatest benefit? I may do the goodbye Lupus full raw again for six weeks because I will be in her January 24 rapid recovery group. @ I’m reversing lupus nephritis, ma’am. Week 2-3 was tough detoxing but I got over it with flying colors! I was on monthly infusions for a little over a year and suddenly I was reacting badly to them covered in hives and rashes. I was so tired of being tired and in pain. I couldn’t workout more than 10 minutes without breaking out. Anyways, I heard about Dr. G years ago when I was first diagnosed in 2018 and I got so distracted with trying to save my life and get treated. I ended up in remission after a year and then a relapse. This year what drew me back to her was a God-thing….a old video showed up on my UA-cam feed about losing her youngest Alex.. (I have an only son, a preteen whom I homeschool 💕)well, my heart just broke and I was so inspired by her beautiful character and resilience and her continued determination to help people like us. I took it as a sign to just jump into the protocol not waiting for after Thanksgiving. I just did it. I watched her Live Q&As, bought ALL her books, did further research, looked for channels like yours, etc. I’m on the journey of my life reclaiming my health 💪oh the greatest benefit: my energy is through the roof! When I get rashes, they heal quickly! I have no cravings. It’s just an abundance of benefits. My doctor stopped infusions this month and put me on an immunosuppressant I was previously on. I’m hoping to taper off these very soon. Thank you, Nan, for what you do. You’re an inspiration 💕

I absolutely LOVE these demos you do, Ms. Nan! You do such a great job, so engaging. I also have the beautiful recipe book but it's wonderful to see them being made. I LOVE playing with Goodbye Lupus, Hello Delicious recipes. The other day I was craving a simple bowl of crunchy cereal so I took inspiration from Dr. G's berry "cereal." Here's what I used (a little handful of each): wild blueberries, chopped apples and bananas, a dash of cinnamon, and wait for it: bits of CAULIFLOWER for that wonderful crunch. I LOVE how versatile cauliflower is. Have you tried the "Buttered Popcorn" recipe yet? I was literally shocked at how delicious it is! Tastes like REAL salted butter to me. My jaw dropped. @@NanSimonsen Of course you may! I would be delighted! I actually named the “cereal” Cauli Crunch Delight. It is pretty much whatever fruit you have on hand chopped up (bananas is a must) and small bits of cauliflower of course! I just had another bowl today but this time I added crushed up plain-flavored dehydrated flaxseed crackers for a little extra crunch and omega-3s. I poured on a generous amount of almond milk and enjoyed it after a hard workout. Hope you like it! Take care 💕

Hi Nan, have you heard of someone having sleep apnea as one of the symptoms of Sjogren? I've been doing Dr Goldner's protocol but the lack of healthy sleep is not helping me to recover. Do you have suggestions?
Hi humblebee, from what I understand of Sjogren, it manifest in a number of bodily dysfunction. Apnea is not anything to mess around with as sleep is so critical to healing. Dr. G’s protocol is important for cellular repair and immune function and can improve so many challenges that we may have. On the other hand, I think it’s very important to see a doctor to be sure that there are not other underlying problems. I’m rooting for you, please stay in touch. 🌻🥰🌻

Hi Nan- I have been following your journey with Dr. Goldner’s protocol. I am trying it as well. I am struggling to get the smoothies down each day. Do you count the water you put into the smoothie in the 96 ounces of water a day?
Hi Lizlena, I struggled too, but now I have it down to a routine. My smoothie has about 42 ounces or more of water in it, and absolutely that counts toward the 96 ounces or more that we drink a day. Great question Ginette! I just saw your comment, I’m sorry for the delay. Yes. The 75% is the maximum, but Dr. G has said that some people do better with less fruit and the main purpose of the fruit is just to help people get the smoothie down. The more veggies the better!🌻🥰🌻

Hi, what a sweet and delicate way to put that. Well Not hurtful at all. One person admonished me for the potential danger in the dye. Yes I do color it, yes, I am otherwise gray. I use MadisonReed Hair Color, which is relatively clean, but going gray would be the healthiest thing to do. For now I’m not ready to do that. I like being a brunette. 🌻😃🌻

Ive been looking at google maps street view and noticed that there are many homes in Riverside that still have the conventional grass lawn. But then Ive seen that up near San Fran people are making an effort to make their front yards blend in with the natural environment and it looks good.
When I created Gardens, if there was a lawn it was requested, and it was minimal. I have no grass in this home, nor did I on my 2 1/4 acre botanic garden property. I think that can be a wonderful way to go!🌻🥰🌻
I was born & raised in Fontana, Bloomington, and Riverside. I've spent the rest of my life on the east coast. In central FL now. It's too humid here, I'm coming back to Riverside as soon as I can. I want to have a landscape that looks like the natural area it's in when I move here. Can you create some videos on your past projects? That would be great.
