Im happy with my Galaxy tablet and my Galaxy book has never let me down(knocks on wood) If it ain't broke, why fix it? I'll be hopefully upgrading to the next Galaxy book that comes out. I'm I'm looking forward to the 25 Ultra

Next thing is love to get is a watch like yours. Keep inspiring us with your video content. Have a great weekend, Eddie from Kentucky 😊
I was in similar situation because of iPad mini. There is no good 8" inch tablet for samsung eco system which is easy to carry wherever you go along with your phone, but I just stayed with Samsung as loyal samsung users like you. If I switch my whole eco system just for iPad mini, I have to take loan as how you mentioned. 😂
I go through this cycle at least once a month. Something I am trying to do would be easier to accomplish on a Mac, but then there is the spiralling cost of the Apple ecosystem. Identical configurations for a computer and smartphone would set me back thousands, plus I'd get annoyed with Apple's limitations.
You can't expect from an ultrabook with an i9 and a GTX4070 to have quiet fans and run heavy video editing software. Buy a workstation type of laptop if you want to use a laptop for such stuff or a gaming one, that has proper cooling. Avoid those with hidden vents, especially those that blow the air into the screen (hinge). Also, I would recommend to downgrade the processor to an i7, cause from my experience i9s misbehave, keeping higher frequencies when not needed. I had a Thinkpad P53 with an i9 and RTX4000 - unless I put it in power-saving mode it would not switch to frequencies below 4GHz, which caused the fans to run at high speeds and the CPU over 80 degrees Celsius. Fortunately, the performance was there even at power-save mode, so I kept the laptop like that, but I'm pretty sure there is some issue between MS Windows and Intel processors' power management, including the sleep states.
If you're trying to spec the Mac Mini based on what you would normally need on a Windows machine, you'd be shocked how much less RAM you need for better performance on MacOS, and I believe you can still use external SSD's for storage, which may make things easier in the long run. Even a mac mini with an an older M2 or M3 is a processing power house.
Wow I was very intrigued by the title of this one. Love your videos and I can definitely understand the apple consideration. Im a digital artist and although there are programs that both Apple and Android share they don't talk to each other and it causes a nightmare sometimes. I have both apple and android tablets because of this but android although limited is giving apple a run for their money they just need more software developers on board to edgeworkforce. Have a samsung galaxy book but its basic specs but i use google drive and dropbox to share files. Etween the two. Its doable but not without some annoyances. I definitely share your dedication to the android ecosystem and I choose it 9 out of 10 times over apple. Hope you are able to spec your device to help with your increased workflow.
@ToniaMcCaskill This was a very straightforward and detailed summary. Thank you for that. 😊 You actually answered things I have been wondering for a while. Much appreciated 👏
I use an M3 mac book pro because of the power and efficiency. But I usually use a Samsung phone currently. What I do for seamless transfer of files, clipboard, and other data is KDE connect. It works for me, and I can easily use both phones as seamless as I want to. I believe that if you have both devices. You'll find a way to make them work.
I agree with your decision based on your ecosystem / production pipeline. The same goes for those with an Apple set up. Mixing the ecosystems is the nightmare.
@richfiore3061 I can imagine it would be a nightmare... Not to sound odd, but can you give some examples as to why? I've never tried to mix, or use multiple ecosystems.
Good for you. I'm glad you stuck with the Samsung ecosystem because it works and the main thing is you can get your work done efficiently and with no fuss. I'm entrenched in Apple's ecosystem so it would be jarring for me to switch to an Android / Windows setup. Do what works for you and pay no attention to anyone who tries to convince you that one brand or product is better than the other.
like others have said, have you considered using other editing programs? maybe something like filmora or one of those instead that may be better optimized for an Android type system? thanks for a great video though!
I have had Lumafusion on the Tab S9 Ultra. Speed and performance is great but functionally I need a desktop editor and Premiere is the one I need right now for current needs. Thank you though!
while i understand your ecosystem preference, i would recommend you to give a shot at the Mac first, you can sorta get some of the functionalities with Third Party Apps on macOS, I've used macOS with an Android Phone for so long, honestly it's not that bad the new M4 Macs are really good, what you could do is to get a Mac mini and still keep your Galaxy Book around, are the ecosystem features that important when you could get your work done faster and at the same time without instability issues?
Please don't switch. But there's a couple of things you should probably reconsider: Your laptop and your software! just drop premier and get davinci instead and get a decent laptop. (sorry, Samsung's laptops are not quite there yet...). I can't believe you're an adobe user! for your adobe fees in one year you could sell your samsung laptop and buy the very best laptop currently available on the market and still have quite a bit of cash left! And finally, maybe you overstimate "ecosystems"? most of us love samsung,, but we're not slaves to a brand... just waste a little bit of time from time to time perhaps, but not a big deal.
I'm not switching! But I do need to use Adobe right now. Certain parts of my editing workflow rely on it. I'm on a good rate with the subscription, so it's affordable!
The main limitations with samsung laptops is how they do NOT publish their drivers publicly, instead reducing their availability to their proprietary driver software. This is a very poor & detrimental practice!! Performance in sealed SoC bed systems process will go up. Not just some btw.
I know people like to talk about Apple's ecosystem hooks and lock in's, but every big tech company wants that reality it's one of the best end goals, including Samsung (Google too, but that's currently being broken up in court right now lol) which, as you are experiencing now, is the world's biggest pain in the butt. I've recently switched my phone back to android after 5 years of being an apple user (was time for an upgrade and a change) but the anxiety of switching is intense, it rattles your brain thinking about "Oh but will this device work, oh I'll be locked out of this feature, what's the alternative" its just stressful. Lucky for me, I don't need to air drop as much anymore because my buddy and I haven't uploaded in like a year so that workflow is not common for me anymore. I am fairly happy with my switch, and surprisingly to the average user it has not impacted me that much, I still use my Apple Watch for fitness (It's still setup on Wi-Fi to my account, so all tracking is kept), I still use my AirPods. For the curious people I picked up a Moto Edge 50, I know odd choice, but it's very nice, and I wanted to check out the current mid-range market.
Also as a recommendation if you want an M series device for editing. Old M2 stock of MacBook Pro 16 inch is pretty cheap, when the M3 came out I snagged a new M1 MAX maxed out for $2500 cheaper than its retail price from an office works unout deal. Potentially if you don't mind a larger device the M1 version of the studio with the MAX chip might be more affordable and the chip is still rock solid
@@techwithbenefits the mini is a phenomenal deal for everyone but people with big adobe or final cut timelines. Because with a ram upgrade and a 1TB ssd upgrade it's the price of two base Mac minis

If you are considering spending £2000 on a beefed up Mac mini, why not look at a Mac Studio instead? The other thing is; Companies now spend a significant amount of time making sure you don't leave their nice walled gardens. I believe Apple make a ton of money on services and the hardware is less lucrative, due to the slow down of innovation between models. You really do have to make some tough choices before you upgrade nowadays. Great video, Thanks.

If you need air drop Local Send and Send Anywhere have been amazing and there are 3rd party apps if you want to be able to text from your laptop. Honestly if you look hard enough theres a third party app for almost any issue you can run into!
Just get the mini base maybe the ram if anything. Then just use an external ssd and you should be fine, have done the same thing and just sent off my s24 ultra for a new iPhone 16pro max. I was going to jump ship myself a while ago having ran a hackintosh for a while and being an iPhone user. I say stick with Samsung, especially as you say your laptop is good enough for your editing needs. I have a Macbook Air and like Mac OS but paying a fortune for a Mac Mini when you already have a powerful machine and an extensive, cohesive Samsung set up across your entire house wouldn't make sense. Anyway, nice video, cheers
@techwithbenefits davinci resolve does. Actually premiere does also but in emulation mode. I would still use lumafusion on the tab s10 ultra. Can edit off an external drive so no issues with space
The Galaxy Wave was my first Samsung too! Bada OS was great for the time. Glorified feature phone. Premium build quality also. My next was the S2 and it's been Samsung ever since.
I m in the same situation , all my house have samsung products but never pay so much money on tab s7 etc but pay full prime for s series or note series , now i debate between oneminus 13 or s25 ultra
I'm in both eco systems, each does some things better than the other but overall both are exceptional but sadly they don't work well with each other. Industry standards would be most beneficial to all endusers, just like making a voice phone call is agnostic to phone, platform, os etc if video calling, file sharing , texting etc were equally platform agnostic (without loss of functionality) the world would be a much better place for all end users.
Microsoft Surface laptop tend to be really good AND you can still use quick share and the phone app, that said the battery issue might still be an issue, not as bad as Samsung but still an issue.
samsung devices are amazing. however, I switched this year from windows to macOS and I am more than happy with my choice. therefore I will go with iPhone this year regarding my smartphone upgrade
Bro it's okay to use Apple for your work flow and still use and love all your Samsung products. I use almost everything Samsung as well but for laptops which I much prefer MacBooks mainly for their performance, battery life and no fan noise.
The Mac mini is more than worth it and it is built to last you bro! Apple works very well together and it doesn’t have half the issues of Samsung at times. I am a Samsung fanatic but my tab s 9 ultra and fold 6 couldn’t handle zoom calls without flipping the screen or low quality video. I bought a MacBook and eventually the iPhone 16 pro. Handles all my workflow with ease, but with all that said Samsung is still awesome
I would never switch to an iPhone (if I did it would only be an experiment, never full time). My phones have always been amazing. Never a big complaint with those. And my book 4 ultra is great. The main problem really is Intel chips aren't matching what Apple silicon can do in every department
Theree is alternative and you can use OneDrive to retrieve your sync. The phyaical drives isnt a concern hot dock via TB5 USB-C ports. Making tbe excuse "its Apple" is a personal one not a technical or logical one. When you want to match the same performance and consistency of reliability over length of time, youllbepayingmore either in $$$$ or time in Windows. Im a certified tech and I work on both platforms for over 17yrs Windows 11 has brought Windows os reliability by leaps and bounds ans i love the wsl component but running multiple software woth hardware connections hot swapping still has issues and caveats over 30, 40, 70 days over and over before youll face memory data corruption or kernel panicks or IRQ issues woth hardware components conflicts. This is just talking bout official Windows OS builds not custo. Junk you find on the net.
Yeah the "its apple" excuse is definitely personal. I find it hard to make that leap from a mental standpoint (as well as financially). If my needs change or advance, I will have to reconsider, but as of now, it's still working so no need to invest more into something that still works you know?
Sorry but the choice of a PC over an IMac is ridiculous, (ora macBook). Mac OS is infinitely superior to Windows) For the phones I am totally Samsung. But nothing comes even close to MacOS. You made a bad cjhoice in thet case.
I DISAGREE WITH YOUR SAMSUNG PHILOSOPHY! I don't like their products (per se) because this company always aims for just ok. They never truly want to be at 100 they just want to be good enough. Therefore never truly seek innovation, they are in contemp with being mediocre at best. Always remember these are Korean made products. It's a company that WILL DO ANYTHING to make a buck!. * Just finished watching your vid. I got a mbp and a fold 5 it works. Not prefect but it works!. With Apple you pay upfront and it shows it's value bc it MAINTAINS it's value unlike Samsung products. Unlike Samsung Apple is not here to make a quick buck from u, they take their time trying to actually make their best product they can.
I can't figure out what you mean by "make a quick buck". Do you how many years of R&D goes into make a product and then the work and effort required to bring it to market on a global scale? None of it is quick. If it was easy to make a quick buck in the smartphone game you and I could start making and selling phones
Your main problem is Adobe, not Microsoft or Apple.

I have a Macbook Air and like Mac OS but paying a fortune for a Mac Mini when you already have a powerful machine and an extensive, cohesive Samsung set up across your entire house wouldn't make sense. Anyway, nice video, cheers
Keep up the great videos
Get the snapdragon samsung edge
I've been looking at it. It can't run premiere pro yet. The second it does, I'm getting one for sure
@techwithbenefits davinci resolve does. Actually premiere does also but in emulation mode. I would still use lumafusion on the tab s10 ultra. Can edit off an external drive so no issues with space
You'll be sorry
The Galaxy Wave was my first Samsung too! Bada OS was great for the time. Glorified feature phone. Premium build quality also. My next was the S2 and it's been Samsung ever since.
Great content. Smart move. Stay Samsung.
I m in the same situation , all my house have samsung products but never pay so much money on tab s7 etc but pay full prime for s series or note series , now i debate between oneminus 13 or s25 ultra
Unpacked is next week. So can wait and see what Samsung have and go from there
What is flow with dex = I don't want to go with Link to Windows ?? Or ?
DeX for Windows is being discontinued from One UI 7 unfortunately
@techwithbenefits Naa it's not # I have inside info = KEEP PRESSING FORWARD ‼️
I think on the windows side there are a stack of industry standards. Just a shame that MacOS doesn't play with them lol
I use the mac mini with an s23 ultra. Give it a go you'll love it. Mac mini is amazing.
HOLY Samsung products!
😅😅
Try the base model and if you like it you can always plug an SSD to it. PS: if you like it you need to confess 🙂
Microsoft Surface laptop tend to be really good AND you can still use quick share and the phone app, that said the battery issue might still be an issue, not as bad as Samsung but still an issue.
Yeah the Surface Studio looks decent, but I still prefer the Galaxy Books 😅😅. It's still doing a decent job for me
samsung devices are amazing. however, I switched this year from windows to macOS and I am more than happy with my choice. therefore I will go with iPhone this year regarding my smartphone upgrade
Gotta go with what works for you I guess
Bro it's okay to use Apple for your work flow and still use and love all your Samsung products. I use almost everything Samsung as well but for laptops which I much prefer MacBooks mainly for their performance, battery life and no fan noise.
Yeah I know plenty of people who blend the approach. I'm just not ready, both financially and mentally 😅
That amount off samsung products is pretty absurd anyways. I hope you got them for free..
I use an iphone 7 with a hackintosh. (I dont use arch)
Not gonna lie, the title scared me 🤣
Sorry 😅😅
The only logical solution is to throw away all the Samsung products and get only Apple products. I did this 3 years ago. Haven't looked back
I also got a job at Apple so the discount helped
Well that isn't logical at all
Come over to the dark side.
😅😅😅😅
You could just get a PC with an amd processor and the 5090
Yes I could do that, but I have no space unfortunately for a massive desktop tower
@techwithbenefits you could get a mini PC that still has good specs
Because Samsung agreement?
Nope
Get a Desktop-PC. Stronger, quiet an cheaper.
I just don't have the space for a full blown desktop. Hence why the mini was so appealing
Wow what a shame, you almost switched to a fire company.
Puedes tener los dos ecosistemas.
One day in the future I might try, but for now I stay
why didnt you tho
Did you watch the video?
@@techwithbenefits it doesnt matter. everyone has to switch to apple
@@techwithbenefits and that includes you
is this because you are sponsored by Samsung
No. He is literally saying this is his view. So again, no.
No
get a desktop computer instead
I would love one, but I just don't have the space unfortunately!
Thats the dumbest thing i heard. Theres biden talking for the last 4 years. But u won
What in the world are you talking about
Keep android apple sux, ive used it once and i swich back to android immidiatly keep uaing android
I will always use Samsung for phones. That will NEVER change
@techwithbenefits good
Just build a pc.
I wish I could, but I'm limited on space. Hence why the mac mini was appealing
When you own apple product, you are only a user of that device. When you own an Android device, it gives you admin privileges.
In this instance we talking MacOS vs Windows specifically, but i take your point
Just a tip...you can make the switch and run Parallels 11 (Windows VM) it works flawslessly on my 2021 MBP "16
I've looked into that, my understanding was parallels is virtual? So doesn't it use a server somewhere else as opposed to the hardware you have?
dont switch, I did.. iOS right now it's a shitshow.
I'll never use iOS! If I did it would only be an experiment 😅
Sorry but the choice of a PC over an IMac is ridiculous, (ora macBook). Mac OS is infinitely superior to Windows) For the phones I am totally Samsung. But nothing comes even close to MacOS. You made a bad cjhoice in thet case.
I haven't made a bad choice. I've made a choice that works for me.
Which is in turn, a good choice.
Of course you can rationalisé this choice, given your youtube channel it is the safe choice, but not the best.
That's the biggest load of rubbish I've just read!
@@phil-n5t 🤣
I can't figure out what you mean by "make a quick buck". Do you how many years of R&D goes into make a product and then the work and effort required to bring it to market on a global scale?
None of it is quick. If it was easy to make a quick buck in the smartphone game you and I could start making and selling phones
