I remember your Morrowind Easter Eggs video showcasing Goldbrand! My only criticisms for its addition to Skyrim is that it should be much harder to get and it should be a bit more powerful. It's a VERY powerful sword in Morrowind.. but in Skyrim it's kinda average compared to all the other Unique weapons.
Considering you can now in Anniversay Edition get a free Daedric Sword that does 30 fire damage and Goldbrand does the same amount of fire damage but with less physical damage and with more weight behind it, it seems kinda useless from a gameplay perspective except for giving it to your follower. To get this Daedric Sword instead of Goldbrand, head to Winterhold and head towards the Island that is behind College of Winterhold. You can either jump off a window down to the water or just go there on foot. The location is called Skytemple Ruins and once you get there you'll find a couple of staves which will begin the quest and with some undead enemies, so use the very valid school of magic, restoration! The quest is a quick one and it will eventually lead you to a boss fight with 3 different Dremoras which one of them wields this Daedric Sword. My recommendation is to bring a Belrand whom can summon atronachs and fight on his' own without you. You should also bring some conjuration spells and the restoration spell "healing hands" and maybe some magicka potions if needed so you can heal Belrand when he's low on health. Anyways, I hope this helped someone and I hope they make Goldbrand better in the next entry of The Elder Scrolls, because this was a disappointment.

The biggest problem I have with this Creation (as well as other quests/mods that do the same thing) is, it basically forces you to "join" the College in order to proceed with the quest, even if you're playing a Warrior type or other non-magic user.
I only know about this sword because of Elder Scrolls legends, the mobile game. That game introduced me to lots of chatacters and items I didnt know existed
So, I have discovered a big, infuriating bug at Hendra(e?)heim. The basement weapon rack on the right side as you enter the basement, the three closest to the wall once you activate and place a weapon. It no longer works to retrieve the weapon, I have spent hours trying to get the right angle just to see if the hit box is just stupid small. No luck, so now it sits on my wall unused, unable to be freed from its pixelated prison. That damn warrior got the last laugh after defeat.........
oh so it wasnt just for me....welp i had to say goodbye to my best 2handed weapon up to that point..also just for testing i placed a staff and was able to retrieve it..
I got a build I call Boethra's Hand a Khajiit Stealth mage assassin.Skills are destruction, illusion, alteration, enchantment, sneak, lock pick,1-h.Gear is dark leather backpack, vagrant boots, vagrant robes, vagrants hood, jester's gloves, ring of khajiit, gold necklace, goldbrand all gear will be enchanted.Endgame standing stone is the apprentice stone scary choice I know lol.
15:44 "This enchantment is actually a pretty healthy effect and I do believe one of the most powerful elemental damage enchantments on any weapon in the game." Bruh, literally any generic ebony/daedric weapon of the Inferno/Winter/Storms has the same magnitude of effect. Goldbrand is just guaranteed and available at a lower level, so it is good in early-to-mid game before you become a master enchanter.
I didn't even know there was a quest tied to the blade. I had just found it on the corpse of the Botheia champion during the Ebony Mail quest. Regardless it's a glorious-looking weapon, just wish it came with a unique enchantment like so many other one of a kind weapons in Skyrim. While I'll still be using the Razor or the Ebony Blade as my primary melee weapons, it'll look nice in my player home on the rack
Goldbrand is a great sword but I prefer the one from the tournament of ten bloods mod over the one on the creation club. The mod is free and you can actually turn it into eltonbrand
not sure what you mean by TES Legends being defunct. the game is free to play and download from Steam. and to my experience it seems to be working perfectly fine.
Potential Detective topic: What is the Most Canonical Playthrough of TES:V? What character do you have to play as, what decisions must you make, what order must you make them? In a game where there's no wrong way to play, what's the most _right?_
So I haven’t looked but I noticed a weapon no one mentioned. The Daedric Sword Torment. When I got it, it burned for 35 points and I got this later but Torment was stronger all around.
Goldbrand is one of my favourite weapons BECAUSE it turns into a hidden weapon called Eltonbrand in Morrowind and it's probably the beast Easter Egg in the Elder Scrolls series.

It was fitting that I killed Boethiah’s cultists…I was a level 39 vampire with Molag Bal’s mace when I got this quest…
I keep all other daedric artifacts in my basement in Heljarchen Hall
My house is guarded by like 10 Necromancers (added by mods)
And my basement is a treasure trove of artifacts that would make Martin Septim blush
Am i able to draw 2 additional cards if i have a regular brand item in my other hand?
Honestly just random found the tomb on accident didn’t know this mission was all here can’t wait now
5:39 There is a typo with the word "College"
Lmao I was wondering if that had anything to do with Elton Brand 😂😂 and Coach K. That is neat
Seems you can go straight to Winterhold and get that book. I didn't go to Boethia's shrine and it started for me.
Now with this sword, the indoril armor, and a golden saints helmet. I can role play as my favorite yugioh monster, Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand!
And here I thought Goldbrand only was a drink xD
Talk about Nerveshatter next?
I got a build I call Boethra's Hand a Khajiit Stealth mage assassin.Skills are destruction, illusion, alteration, enchantment, sneak, lock pick,1-h.Gear is dark leather backpack, vagrant boots, vagrant robes, vagrants hood, jester's gloves, ring of khajiit, gold necklace, goldbrand all gear will be enchanted.Endgame standing stone is the apprentice stone scary choice I know lol.
15:44 "This enchantment is actually a pretty healthy effect and I do believe one of the most powerful elemental damage enchantments on any weapon in the game."
Bruh, literally any generic ebony/daedric weapon of the Inferno/Winter/Storms has the same magnitude of effect. Goldbrand is just guaranteed and available at a lower level, so it is good in early-to-mid game before you become a master enchanter.
My favorite part is how the librarian doesn’t care enough to help defend me. Prick.
I didn't even know there was a quest tied to the blade. I had just found it on the corpse of the Botheia champion during the Ebony Mail quest. Regardless it's a glorious-looking weapon, just wish it came with a unique enchantment like so many other one of a kind weapons in Skyrim. While I'll still be using the Razor or the Ebony Blade as my primary melee weapons, it'll look nice in my player home on the rack
i typically used it as an anti undead weapon, alongside restoration spells.
When I did Goldbrand quest, for two of my three characters, the cultist didn’t show up in the College of Winterhold after I read the journal there.
Goldbrand is a great sword but I prefer the one from the tournament of ten bloods mod over the one on the creation club. The mod is free and you can actually turn it into eltonbrand
mods lmao way to ruin the game
not sure what you mean by TES Legends being defunct. the game is free to play and download from Steam. and to my experience it seems to be working perfectly fine.
Another piece to my ever growing daedric and aedric artifacts among others might stream my collection tour.
Camel video hell yes!
Wait, how did they bring the sword back in the tomb, without getting the skull and amulett? I guess they had teleportation magic or sth.
Goldbrand is the only weapon i never miss
Your game looks gorgeous!
Ooooh! Pretty sword!
Camel, do you cover mod content?
Potential Detective topic: What is the Most Canonical Playthrough of TES:V? What character do you have to play as, what decisions must you make, what order must you make them? In a game where there's no wrong way to play, what's the most _right?_
Nord, main quest, Dawnguard and then Dragonborn.
Goldbrand is also the name of a super cheap liquor you can buy in German Discounter Supermarkets
Love the gold band
It's a cool sword but my only problem with it is, it's smaller than a blades sword, other than that awesome weapon!
What is a sword...compared to the hand, that wields it? -Thulsa Doom
So I haven’t looked but I noticed a weapon no one mentioned. The Daedric Sword Torment. When I got it, it burned for 35 points and I got this later but Torment was stronger all around.
