I've been going back and forth between your first living room refresh and when you got the new couch and repainted the fireplace, eyeing every little upgrade, at least 10 times the past week. Also rewatching the tour on deeplymadlymodern because I just moved into a new place and even though I have a different vision for mine, your place is one of my favorite interior visions. I think it stands out because of the depth and richness and making classy look eclectic. It is the perfect mix of vintage being modern. I think many people shy away from richness, in favor of lightness, so you easily stand out for me. It'll be exciting to see what you'll do with a bigger canvas. Happy Thanksgiving, Ethan.
It's layered enough to where it still looks super cozy. I also don't care about camera quality, more so about audio quality. I have art and curtains that are the same color as your couch and it's hard for it not to look so beautiful and warm. I paired my room with lots of rich warm browns and hits of oxblood. Watching to learn from you what more materials to mix in!
Thank you! And ugh, I know... audio quality is something I'm usually so mindful of but I def dropped the ball here. It sounds like your space and color palette are beautiful!
So glad to see you on here again and hope you're feeling a lot better now. living room looks really nice. Good luck on finding your future home. I know you'll find what you're looking for. And handsome as always.
just started the video but i’m excited to see what you decide to go with in exchange for your wall unit! that’s my fav piece you have but your taste is impeccable so im sure you’ll choose something else that is stunning
okay temporary vibes! i love it. it’s good that you brought up the want to be inspired and switching things up is a way to keep that going. excited for your new place :)
Hey Ethan! 🔥 Just checked out your latest home & style content, and I'm seriously impressed with how you're crushing the lifestyle vlog game in LA. Those grooming tips and interior design shots are next level! As a video editor who's totally in sync with your creative vision, I'd love to team up and help take some editing pressure off your plate. Imagine having more time to capture those awesome LA moments and style transformations instead of being stuck in post-production. Your storytelling and aesthetic are fire, and I believe together we could seriously elevate your UA-cam channel's growth. Let's connect and make some magic happen! 🎥✨
Wow what a beautiful light you’ve got in this video! Looking forward for what’s to come =) the Music was a little to much for my taste and distracting, at least while you were talking, just your voice at one time is enough 😊
Amazing video as always ❤ I would’ve just moved the painting a bit higher to bring that eye up, feels a bit close to the couch - then again I don’t have your design eye so maybe don’t listen to me 😂
Your design esthetic is so beautiful! I love your approach to design and how romanticizing your life is so important. I’m stoked to see holiday video coming up! Also, have to ask, where are the new sconces from? Thanks much!
Nice video man. There is just one thing I should mention. People needs to stop overcrowd the coffee table with decor. This is a table, means it needs to be practical, you needs to be able to put things on it. A little decor is always nice like a pile of books and some other little pieces of decor but when a table can't be used as it is intended to be used, something is wrong. This principle works for every furniture in a living space.
This had the potential to be the saddest makeover ever. But it's nice to see this kind of realistic room refreshes. I'd love to see you do this at your friend's places. Redoing rooms with what they already own.
You didn't link the chai-latte smelling incense. What are they? 😉 And you need to sand the patches to smoothen them... Don't paint over these bumpy patches
I love incense BUT please look up some health concerns related to burning them indoors, especially frequently. the smoke risk can accumulate overtime. Take care cutie!
Have you ever tried setting the furniture opposed to the shape of the room? Ex. Sofa at an angle to a corner then square the chairs and table to the couch...A square within a square. I could draw it simply but can't share it with you. Your mod der n sconch was too high, never above eye level unless you're hanging salon style.
You have a wonderful camera presence; hope you find your dream home soon.
As someone who has always found it really difficult to get on camera (and feel comfortable) this is really validating to hear, thank you
you really do, Ethan! you always look so comfy and relaxed like you’re talking with a friend
Towels for moving furniture on hardwood is such a good trick!

It's always inspiring to watch you do what you do the best. Loving the new layout after the refresh. Excited for the holiday decorating videos.
Thank you! Can't wait to share with youuu

@ethangaskill you're very welcome Ethan and I'm looking forward to it. Also looking forward to the Christmas decorations.
Glad you are back here 🤍

Loving the new layout!! although the sconces remind me of little wall mounted speakers a little bit : )
I absolutely adore Pedestal tv stands, wish I could afford one too! Yours looks fantastic!❤
After living with it for a week I absolutely love it... to be honest Idk if I'll ever re-mount a tv in the living room regardless of where I move
You are truly a cutie! Enjoy your videos! Happy holidays to you and your dog!!😊
thank you! same to you
What was that lighter you used at the beginning? So cool!

Ethan, please tell me that you sanded the spackle before painting
Thank you! This was driving me crazy wondering this. Surely he sanded right?!
What is your plan for TV storage? Will it live in that spot or do you plan to roll it in an out of place?
wow love this so much. it feels a lot more open/welcoming :)
Love this men's club vibe,I adore your armchair ❤

Que bueno que volviste!
obsessed with the vibes and also, i neeeed to know where these curtains are from!!! much love from toronto.
omg i just watched your tour on tiktok and saw you say where they're from lolllll. loveeeeee
Amazing video as always ❤ I would’ve just moved the painting a bit higher to bring that eye up, feels a bit close to the couch - then again I don’t have your design eye so maybe don’t listen to me 😂
Those armchairs are absolutely fabulous, where did you find them? I live on an island, can I find these online.
Aw i love your plant!

Thank youuuuu - they're from Lulu & Georgia!

Love everything!!!
This is the best layout!
At first I was sad, and now having lived with it for a bit I feel like the space is so much more open and flows better which I love
I have the same 8 panel windows in my 1926 townhouse. I just love the look of them.
Me too! They’re one of my fav features in the space
why is that only 720p? is that my mac's problem ??T^T the video looks so good !!
Hi! Did you link the incense?
Beautiful!!!
Thanks Ethan. You always calm me, that's a valuable gift.
You're so sweet, I appreciate you being here
I need a dupe for those curtains 😭 Next video idea? lol
This had the potential to be the saddest makeover ever. But it's nice to see this kind of realistic room refreshes. I'd love to see you do this at your friend's places. Redoing rooms with what they already own.
Where did you get that chubby chrome table lamp? ( 1:06 ) I want one 😭
@@stephaniewong5639 it’s by a ceramicist based in San Francisco named Paul Murre! His IG is @murreceramics
You should try ring clips for the curtains.
I will def pleat and use rings in my next space, it's definitely a better look than what I have now haha
@@ethangaskill Yeah, they are so easy to open and close too.
Nice vibe

Love, love, love! Please tell me where your floor lamp is from; the one next to your sofa.
Looks like a Louis poulsen
THANK YOU for not mounting your TV over the mantle! It’s at eye level, which is exactly where it should be.
I love incense BUT please look up some health concerns related to burning them indoors, especially frequently. the smoke risk can accumulate overtime. Take care cutie!
Oh! I will def look into it. Thank you 🫶
Looks like he's burning them with all the windows open so he should be fine. No worse than using a wood burning fireplace
I was thinking the same thing! But It’s not so much the smoke (like wood) it’s the chemical fragrances being burned and breathed.
@@ethangaskillwhere is the link?
Where is the link to the incense?
i really like your plant
What/where is the incense from? I too like incense and home scents
You look like jacob elordi ❤
The poor plant didn't and doesn't get enough light.
January 31st is my birthday :)
Let’s get real. You were merely a prop in this video. 😂 Title should have been Incense smoke featuring Ethan Gaskill 🌫😶🌫️🌫
Magic! All the way from outback Broken Hill nsw Australia 🇦🇺🤭
My new boyfriend ❤
The audio at the beginning is terrible, but you’re very very cute, so it compensates 🙂↕️
That poor plant
Washington State is gloomy, definitely Not New England !!
Fill your holes with toothpaste.
