Looks so good! I think I would maybe consider putting the dresser under the window as another layout option? You could hang the curtain rod a bit wider and maybe consider getting some kind of woven shade for the windows for more texture. Looks really great though. Love the ceiling color!

It's bad fung shei to have your head on the same wall as the door when you open it.... if that makes sense. So to have good fung shei you should have the head of the person on the opposite wall is the door.
Yes! You're exactly right. They call it the "command position". That's one reason why I had originally wanted to have my bed on that other wall but ultimately I needed to do what made the most sense for the space. I also think it kinda works cause the bed technically is still facing a door/entryway.

Ethan, your transition with flipping on the record player & the song changing for the big reveal was smoooooth. If you ever decide you want a refresh with your rug, I think taking one of the burnt orange or red tones from the large painting and doing a solid rug in that color would really pop!

i'm not sure, if another opinion/option is helpful at this point 😅, but here is what I would do: put the bed back on the first wall, leave one of the nightstands (on the left side, facing the bed, so it's further away from the matching dresser), and put a cool vintage chair on the other side as a second nightstand and the dresser under the window. I feel like that would allow for the best flow of the room. And I wouldn't put anything on the floor across from the bed, but large art on the wall. Hope this helps, if not, feel free to ignore it 😁 You have amazing style, so no matter what, the room will look amazing.🙂

I used a similar color on a friend's sunroom ceiling years ago and it was loved. Yours is great, shows off the off the cove and makes the walls have purpose. That mirror flows seamlessly with pendant and wall color. Good choice on 16" rod too.
