The reason would likely be because your sim had No Cooking Skill, in future, maybe get your sim a bookshelf and buy some cookbooks, or watch cooking channels on TV when your sim needs entertainment, you can also make salads and such, until your sim has Three skill points, by which it is now safer to use stoves and grills, but keep a eye out for potential fires, also if a Werewolf is Transformed (and earns Transformation Mastery, letting them turn at will below Max Fury), they get Double skill rate. And if your sim catches fire, Click on them and choose "Extinguish Self"
I would legit have so much respect for Sims team if they researched Irish lore on fairies and made them based on that. The stories are terrifying but they could still clean it up. But man, Irish folklore on fairies will give you nightmares. lol

But considering that they've already done Henford-on-Bagley in Cottage living, I'm concerned that they wouldn't bother having another world, or vibe, that's based on the British Isles. While there is a lot to Irish Fairy Folklore, it's not the only place in the world where fairy myths originate. There are various types of legends regarding fairies (accompanied by various spellings, too) from all around the world! I don't know much about it myself but a quick google search proves that there's all sorts of interesting directions they could take!
Absolutely would love that. So many stories told to scare the littles to do chores. When I was younger, I fully believed I would be kidnapped if I found anything in nature that was circular. 😂
Ngl I do hate when this happens- like if you‘re doing a pack for a game like the sims, basing it on the lore would require so much toning down and defanging to make it suitable for the game‘s vibe and audience that you may as well have not done the research in the first place bc it‘s going to be nothing like the stories. Like if they did „fairies“ I would hope it‘d be like sparkly tinkerbell vibes so it isn‘t just a frustrating misrepresentation

Okay. So. I really really want a fairy pack but like fully customizable wings, different sizing! A fairy making fairy lights, having special trees and magical flowers! And a new emotion “feeling magical” or “feeling floaty” from interacting with a fairy! And a new aspiration like “Protector of the forest” or something like that where learning specific genres of music, planting new plants and flowers and making new items would be amazing!
I want them to refresh the mermaids. Like aliens I can understand not having a skill tree. But mermaids have powers and just no skill tree. I think if they can get that right, it’ll give me a lot more faith in the fairy pack idea being a success.

My mom has recently gotten into the sims and LOVES it! She is intimidated by building and is still learning how to play the game so I build her every house she moves into! I’ve started to leave rooms empty for her and she decorates them and is getting better and better! ❤

Fairy thoughts: Sometimes, when you have a baby, the baby is a fairy (a changeling!). A possible fairy ability is to change a person's traits or ambition, or to inflict random moodlets (chaos)
I'd like a fairy pack, but more than that I want them to revamp aliens, plant sims, and mermaids ;;o;; Tbh a fairy pack that includes a plant sim refresh would be amazing! And it makes sense that fairies and plant sims would be connected and be friends! You could do a lot with the characters having unique interactions, like a positive twist on the natural enemies thing the vampires and werewolves have.
Plant sims definitely need a refresh. The idea of them is so cool but the actual sims are kinda meh. I wish they would turn them into their take on nymphs and make them be able to die of a broken heart, charm sims, and learn charisma faster.
I’d LOVE if fairies could controle like the elements and its variants like a fire, earth, water and air neighborhoods with like huge trees and mushrooms and overgrown stuff
I really hope that fairies come with some nature elements or elements like light, fire, water etc. in general 😅 Like you choose an element and master it with skills that fit the element like nature stuff or changing the weather to be warm as a fire fairy or creating rain as a water fairy ❤
For everyday gameplay Spellcasters are the best! You don’t actively have to play with it, because unlike Vampires, Werewolves and Mermaids their magic doesn’t constantly interfere with gameplay… but there are so many nice perks, like the repair spell, or cleaning, making food appear out of thin air, gardening and duplicate spells and even like resurrection spells… and you never have to go this route you can also play like the most normal sim ever and then dive into it 5 gens later when the bloodline is already crazy strong…
Building for your friend's sims family sounds like such a cute idea! We should do this as a community, find "sims pals", describe/show our current families and swap builds with each other!!❤

Hi! Just wanted to point out, there are fairy lights in high school years debug that look exactly like the toddler stuff lights. You can try to use them instead of the toddler stuff ones to use less packs!

We could have a pack where you level up to get bigger wings and theres fairy dust and certain plants for potion creation and the world is full of really wispy and glowy nature and fairy houses like TS3. I just love fairies
even without ever playing with werewolves, this is definitely one of my all time favorite builds of yours. I can *smell* this place. old wood, plants, some old metal accents, old leather furniture. I have never downloaded a build off the gallery before, but I think this one will be my first one. I'm even ready to buy the werewolf pack I need for this. I would want to live in this house in real life. I LOVE this build.
maybe fairies could be tied to gardening magic plants, taking care of magic animals and depending on whether you're good or evil, you could utilize those to either make changes for better in the world or total focus on mischief and causing chaos.I really wish they reworked mermaids too
I want to be able to change the heights of sims as adults, even if there's like only 3 different options. it'll be a LOT of work to redo all the animations even two more times so that there aren't any weird glitches with interactions with cooking or mirrors and stuff but it would just add so much immersion imo
The best werewolves build I've ever seen, making me want to buy this pack now. I was initially planning on getting home chef hustle... but maybe I should get this now?!?!?! I love this build the most because you made it look so cozy and nice and welcoming, not trashy and run down. I love how it's for werewolves but it looks clean and it's like an actual house!
So the fairy pack would a lot of gowns, dresses, robes and crowns. They’d also have individual wings shapes and designs. For a pack, it’d have to the Feywild with all the strange plants, and ornate French curl filigree. You’d have to balance your favor between the Seelie and Unseelie courts to unlock items and careers, as well as stop the other side from cursing your home.
I think if they made a fairy pack it should come with the small fairy house from the sims 3 and it would be fun if they added like an archery skill and like competitions or something idk. For the world I’m thinking like medieval vibes since the castle kit was so small. And definitely cross pack compatibility with realm of magic and spellcasters. 19:33 you could have tinker bell’s kid be a werewolf maybe?
Archery would be so cool! I think it’s bit more elves than fairy but in the sims it would work 🧝♂️ Archery should be accessible to kids also and they could have archery club as after school activity! 🏹

i love this idea! i think it would be such a cool idea if they did a fairy/elf pack so the archery skill could make more sense. but i think with the fairy theme might work really well with some spin-off of the mischief skill and add an extra world through the Magic PlantSim Tree for extra access to that world
the only thing i think about fairies is that the special traveling they get (that nearly all occults have), should be to turn into a small ball of light and teleport similarly to the wellness skill without the meditating part.

This is stunning!!! The bookshelves as a divider into the dining/kitchen rooms are incredible. The juxtaposition of wolf, boho, and industrial is just top notch.
I definitely feel as if Faries would be a cool addition into the Sims, and it could introduce new magical creatures as pets, such as pixies and dragons and living gnomes, as well as many new wooden build items and florals. There could be both good and bad faries too, comparing the stereotypical "Tinker Bell" type with the nasty and tricky folklore types of the fae, with various designs and regions for the faries to have cone from or live in
fair warning about the Beware of Greg signs - they give your sims a scared moodlet because they feel "something evil watching them" - as in Greg. You'll wanna remove them to play in the house 😅
I loveeeeee the vibes of this house. So warm and cozy! I feel like there's calm indie music playing at all times, someone's cooking, whilst someone else is reading. Friends are over all the time... Ohhhh my gosssshhh! Just so lovely!
the fairy discourse over the crystal pack is crazy to me because we literally got the roadmap in january saying we were only getting kits and a stuff pack 😅 and they'd never snub us no give us a stuff pack instead of a game pack for an occult (hopefully) ... like common sense, people !!!
I like this build, Kayla. I hope you do more occult builds in the future. And I hope you do a werewolf's LP too. My late cat used to chirp when she saw squirrels outside, but they all ignored her.
Cool house. I like the Werewolf pack. Werewolf babies are fun because they can do little howls and practice howling with the parents. Toddlers can but babies have a little howl when they cry. This house would be good if you wanted to do a Let's play where there was an Apocalypse and a lot of things are abandoned. I did a couple of builds of an abadoned grocery store and an abandoned gas station. It was fun. I'm glad you and Dan are feeling better. I've been scratched by my cats a lot. It does hurt.
I feel like I'm the odd one because vampires are my favorite. The cas, build and world is just superior to me. Realm of magic is a great pack, I love the magic realm.
This place turned out extremely cool and I don't even like or own the Werewolves stuff. Building "outside of your comfort zone" really shows how good you are at it in general, even if it took you a bit to figure it out. Awesome job Kayla!
i feel like they could take the fairy thing VERY literally and add maybe some new jobs with a fairy game pack where if you are a fairy you could be a “tooth fairy” and it you “sneak jn” ( using the mechanics from 4 rent) or a “sugar plum fairy” where you get to go along with father winter in holiday trips or even a “fairy god mother” where you can go to high school and grant a wish for someone on prom night!
I am super excited about the fairy idea! Hope we will get them soon :) I think there is a lot of things that fairies can do as making other sims crazy, or dirty, tired etc, as a evil fairy, and as a good fairy you could talk with the plants, cozing a good mood, or making them rest and tidy, and of course they need to have nice wings and be able to fly :)
This is my second favorite of your builds. The Ice Castle is my favorite. I love to use it on the large Mt Komerebi lot for my Father Winter's Baby Runaway Teen. I love the plant curtains. I most recently used them in a nursery where I didn't want to block much light coming in because it was off-the-grid, with stained glass windows, and therefore pretty dimly lit. I made the nursery jungle/forest themed, with dark wood and muted pinkish purple accents. The pink variegated leaf swatch on the curtains fit perfectly.
I haven't watched much of the video yet, but I absolutely LOVE werewolves!! I always play with occult sims and they're my favourite so far; I always use the Get to Work expansion to make a lil' jail in a secret basement of the house so that I can lock the werewolf in there while it's rampaging. Pretty neat!

My ideal fair pack will be somewhat inspired by winx club, not necessarily a collab, but keep the idea of every fair is the fairy of something and has powers based on that, ex plant fairys can control plants making them evolve or be harvestable sooner, fire fairys have fire magic, music fairys mayve can play multiple instruments at once with magic, ect

I mainly play with werewolves. So it was fun to see such a beutifuly detailed werewolf build from you. The spellcaster with gem pack does sound fun too. I feel like with stuff from thoughs packs and the werewolf moon stuff. You could make a realy fun moon and gem filled space.
the other nice thing I like about the clearing is that one of the best ways to get collectibles as a werewolf is to scavenge and so u could go and scavenge over there
Its crazy how well werewolves was compared to everything else thats been released. Like i hate the way they look but seeing zoomies in my action bar solidified my love for the pack.
I’m very much on the Fairy Hype. I’ve wanted Fairies since Vampires came out, if we got them, I’d kinda want something that leans into that typical “wood fairy” theme. Give me cottage core.
Hear me out with the fairy situation, what if they had different types of fairies and whatever fairy they are connects to what type of job they have. So like say they are a tooth fairy, they could go around and take kids teeth and give them money like a toothfairy would since they added the loose tooth thing into the game. I’m not sure what other types of fairies there could be but maybe something like that could work?
I want fairies so much! 🥲 I would LOVE to see a fairy realm accessible by a mushroom circle (similar to Realm of Magic) and a fear for children of being a changeling that would be appeased by their parents showing the birth certificate
I love this concept of building for someone else. I think asking friends to give you prompts would be a really good way to stretch those creativity muscles.

I would really love to see fairies at some point in the Sims! I could see a bunch of nature, butterfly, and elemental designs for build mode. Clothing options I can see more floral prints and cut-off options. With the new crystal pack, I think it'd be cool for a fairy life-time goal to grow a crystal garden and be able to use crystals to make their fairy magic stronger. I can also see them expanding on the trickster fairy motif and would love to see the many interactions with other supernaturals, especially werewolves!
i like to think some of the ladder and branches of fairy leveling up could be similar to spell casters; for example you could have good fairies, mischievous pixies, dark faes, etc i feel like fairies and spellcasters AND henford on bagley would work well together, *ESPECIALLY* with the new jeweling stuff pack

The colours and your choice of decor is so strong, everything goes together so incredibly well! I love these videos where you can just let loose and use anything from any pack with any budget, but having a theme that a friend assigned to you to tie it all together worked so well. I love this house !! I know the stayover guests never used to sleep but now for me if i assign them to a bed they always sleep if my sims are asleep so i nearly always have stayover guests especially if i have infants / toddlers they can help with!
i agree on your point tht i struggle to imagine what a fairies gamepack/ep would entail that the other occult types don't already offer. i guess gardening / animal buffs and pranks, but to make a whole skill tree and pack abt that?? i wish it came with another cool gameplay feature like better wild animals (deer, frogs, hedgehogs etc) or royalty fairy castle stuff or very far-fetched other occults like goblins, gnomes and trolls

As a cottagecore fan, I want a fairy pack so badly lolol! Lemme fly and build a home tree :) there can be tinker fairies and animal and water fairies and stuff like in Pixie Hollow I think? Anyway, Ik it may seem redundant to some but I love the idea of flying and all the CAS and Build and Buy mode opportunities.

Oh yep. My lil one does that sometimes. Just makes lil gremlin noises.
Cats rely on silence for hunting, the chirping is a reaction to birds but it is a myth that it is a mimic call.

We could have a pack where you level up to get bigger wings and theres fairy dust and certain plants for potion creation and the world is full of really wispy and glowy nature and fairy houses like TS3. I just love fairies
even without ever playing with werewolves, this is definitely one of my all time favorite builds of yours. I can *smell* this place. old wood, plants, some old metal accents, old leather furniture. I have never downloaded a build off the gallery before, but I think this one will be my first one. I'm even ready to buy the werewolf pack I need for this. I would want to live in this house in real life. I LOVE this build.
maybe fairies could be tied to gardening magic plants, taking care of magic animals and depending on whether you're good or evil, you could utilize those to either make changes for better in the world or total focus on mischief and causing chaos.I really wish they reworked mermaids too
I want to be able to change the heights of sims as adults, even if there's like only 3 different options. it'll be a LOT of work to redo all the animations even two more times so that there aren't any weird glitches with interactions with cooking or mirrors and stuff but it would just add so much immersion imo
I just want to make a tall woman and her short king is that too much to ask 😭😭

The best werewolves build I've ever seen, making me want to buy this pack now. I was initially planning on getting home chef hustle... but maybe I should get this now?!?!?! I love this build the most because you made it look so cozy and nice and welcoming, not trashy and run down. I love how it's for werewolves but it looks clean and it's like an actual house!
So the fairy pack would a lot of gowns, dresses, robes and crowns. They’d also have individual wings shapes and designs. For a pack, it’d have to the Feywild with all the strange plants, and ornate French curl filigree. You’d have to balance your favor between the Seelie and Unseelie courts to unlock items and careers, as well as stop the other side from cursing your home.
I think if they made a fairy pack it should come with the small fairy house from the sims 3 and it would be fun if they added like an archery skill and like competitions or something idk. For the world I’m thinking like medieval vibes since the castle kit was so small. And definitely cross pack compatibility with realm of magic and spellcasters. 19:33 you could have tinker bell’s kid be a werewolf maybe?
Archery would be so cool! I think it’s bit more elves than fairy but in the sims it would work 🧝♂️ Archery should be accessible to kids also and they could have archery club as after school activity! 🏹
@@klaudiah1 yea it definitely should be available to kids as well because we have a serious lack of childhood activities it would be so cute to see child, toddler, and infant fairies too but based on how occults work right now I doubt it will happen. 🥲
I saw someone say on another video that they should make a Ren Faire pack and add fairies to that
i love this idea! i think it would be such a cool idea if they did a fairy/elf pack so the archery skill could make more sense. but i think with the fairy theme might work really well with some spin-off of the mischief skill and add an extra world through the Magic PlantSim Tree for extra access to that world
the only thing i think about fairies is that the special traveling they get (that nearly all occults have), should be to turn into a small ball of light and teleport similarly to the wellness skill without the meditating part.

This is stunning!!! The bookshelves as a divider into the dining/kitchen rooms are incredible. The juxtaposition of wolf, boho, and industrial is just top notch.
I definitely feel as if Faries would be a cool addition into the Sims, and it could introduce new magical creatures as pets, such as pixies and dragons and living gnomes, as well as many new wooden build items and florals. There could be both good and bad faries too, comparing the stereotypical "Tinker Bell" type with the nasty and tricky folklore types of the fae, with various designs and regions for the faries to have cone from or live in
fair warning about the Beware of Greg signs - they give your sims a scared moodlet because they feel "something evil watching them" - as in Greg. You'll wanna remove them to play in the house 😅
I loveeeeee the vibes of this house. So warm and cozy! I feel like there's calm indie music playing at all times, someone's cooking, whilst someone else is reading. Friends are over all the time... Ohhhh my gosssshhh! Just so lovely!
the fairy discourse over the crystal pack is crazy to me because we literally got the roadmap in january saying we were only getting kits and a stuff pack 😅 and they'd never snub us no give us a stuff pack instead of a game pack for an occult (hopefully) ... like common sense, people !!!
I think simsie should do a build where every room is a twitch mod. I think that would be a cute way to show them appreciation!

Cool house. I like the Werewolf pack. Werewolf babies are fun because they can do little howls and practice howling with the parents. Toddlers can but babies have a little howl when they cry. This house would be good if you wanted to do a Let's play where there was an Apocalypse and a lot of things are abandoned. I did a couple of builds of an abadoned grocery store and an abandoned gas station. It was fun. I'm glad you and Dan are feeling better. I've been scratched by my cats a lot. It does hurt.
I feel like I'm the odd one because vampires are my favorite. The cas, build and world is just superior to me. Realm of magic is a great pack, I love the magic realm.

This place turned out extremely cool and I don't even like or own the Werewolves stuff. Building "outside of your comfort zone" really shows how good you are at it in general, even if it took you a bit to figure it out. Awesome job Kayla!
i feel like they could take the fairy thing VERY literally and add maybe some new jobs with a fairy game pack where if you are a fairy you could be a “tooth fairy” and it you “sneak jn” ( using the mechanics from 4 rent) or a “sugar plum fairy” where you get to go along with father winter in holiday trips or even a “fairy god mother” where you can go to high school and grant a wish for someone on prom night!
I am super excited about the fairy idea! Hope we will get them soon :) I think there is a lot of things that fairies can do as making other sims crazy, or dirty, tired etc, as a evil fairy, and as a good fairy you could talk with the plants, cozing a good mood, or making them rest and tidy, and of course they need to have nice wings and be able to fly :)
i would love to see a spellcaster house, i have a hard time making whimsical buildings for my spellcasters and (modded ofc) fairies/witches
This is my second favorite of your builds. The Ice Castle is my favorite. I love to use it on the large Mt Komerebi lot for my Father Winter's Baby Runaway Teen. I love the plant curtains. I most recently used them in a nursery where I didn't want to block much light coming in because it was off-the-grid, with stained glass windows, and therefore pretty dimly lit. I made the nursery jungle/forest themed, with dark wood and muted pinkish purple accents. The pink variegated leaf swatch on the curtains fit perfectly.
I haven't watched much of the video yet, but I absolutely LOVE werewolves!! I always play with occult sims and they're my favourite so far; I always use the Get to Work expansion to make a lil' jail in a secret basement of the house so that I can lock the werewolf in there while it's rampaging. Pretty neat!

Ngl I think that the Fated Mates (especially with mods that allows you to happened between occults) is one of the cutest and best features!!
My ideal fair pack will be somewhat inspired by winx club, not necessarily a collab, but keep the idea of every fair is the fairy of something and has powers based on that, ex plant fairys can control plants making them evolve or be harvestable sooner, fire fairys have fire magic, music fairys mayve can play multiple instruments at once with magic, ect

I mainly play with werewolves. So it was fun to see such a beutifuly detailed werewolf build from you. The spellcaster with gem pack does sound fun too. I feel like with stuff from thoughs packs and the werewolf moon stuff. You could make a realy fun moon and gem filled space.
the other nice thing I like about the clearing is that one of the best ways to get collectibles as a werewolf is to scavenge and so u could go and scavenge over there
Its crazy how well werewolves was compared to everything else thats been released. Like i hate the way they look but seeing zoomies in my action bar solidified my love for the pack.

I’m very much on the Fairy Hype. I’ve wanted Fairies since Vampires came out, if we got them, I’d kinda want something that leans into that typical “wood fairy” theme. Give me cottage core.
Hear me out with the fairy situation, what if they had different types of fairies and whatever fairy they are connects to what type of job they have. So like say they are a tooth fairy, they could go around and take kids teeth and give them money like a toothfairy would since they added the loose tooth thing into the game. I’m not sure what other types of fairies there could be but maybe something like that could work?
I want fairies so much! 🥲 I would LOVE to see a fairy realm accessible by a mushroom circle (similar to Realm of Magic) and a fear for children of being a changeling that would be appeased by their parents showing the birth certificate

I would really love to see fairies at some point in the Sims! I could see a bunch of nature, butterfly, and elemental designs for build mode. Clothing options I can see more floral prints and cut-off options. With the new crystal pack, I think it'd be cool for a fairy life-time goal to grow a crystal garden and be able to use crystals to make their fairy magic stronger. I can also see them expanding on the trickster fairy motif and would love to see the many interactions with other supernaturals, especially werewolves!
i like to think some of the ladder and branches of fairy leveling up could be similar to spell casters; for example you could have good fairies, mischievous pixies, dark faes, etc
i feel like fairies and spellcasters AND henford on bagley would work well together, *ESPECIALLY* with the new jeweling stuff pack

holy damn Kayla, I've been watching you for years, and I think this is my favourite build of yours so far!! The colours and your choice of decor is so strong, everything goes together so incredibly well! I love these videos where you can just let loose and use anything from any pack with any budget, but having a theme that a friend assigned to you to tie it all together worked so well. I'd love to see more like this!

I love this house !! I know the stayover guests never used to sleep but now for me if i assign them to a bed they always sleep if my sims are asleep so i nearly always have stayover guests especially if i have infants / toddlers they can help with!

i agree on your point tht i struggle to imagine what a fairies gamepack/ep would entail that the other occult types don't already offer. i guess gardening / animal buffs and pranks, but to make a whole skill tree and pack abt that?? i wish it came with another cool gameplay feature like better wild animals (deer, frogs, hedgehogs etc) or royalty fairy castle stuff or very far-fetched other occults like goblins, gnomes and trolls

I build sims houses for my gf all the time!! It's always a great challenge when someone gives you color schemes, architectural styles, or specific room requests!
As a cottagecore fan, I want a fairy pack so badly lolol! Lemme fly and build a home tree :) there can be tinker fairies and animal and water fairies and stuff like in Pixie Hollow I think? Anyway, Ik it may seem redundant to some but I love the idea of flying and all the CAS and Build and Buy mode opportunities.
