I can understand pulling a muscle grabbing chips if she was in her 30s, but Kayla's only in her 30s. Poor thing, she should get a desk that can turn into a standing desk, to take a break from sitting so much for her job.

My favorite thing about Simsie is that once, someone asked her, "Don't you ever get bored of the Sims?" and she responded with, "Not really." Playing the Sims is quite literally her job and has been for years, she likely has thousands of hours into this game and even more editing, brainstorming, promoting, collaborating, streaming, filming, etc. and she never gets tired of playing it. It's actually kind of incredible.

I also added sleeves to my wedding dress! It was supposed to be strapless which was pretty but I felt like I wanted a little more coverage and something to help hold my dress up. It ended up being better than I could have ever imagined. Congrats on finding your dress! That is such a huge victory in wedding planning :)

i dont know how i never thought to put wall decals ON windows for retail or community lots, thats amazing
About the flower arch not being a wedding arch. I like to size down a normal wedding arch and hide it in a plant so that I can't really see it, but I can still click it, and then put that flower archway right in front. It keeps the Sims aligned for the "get married" interaction, and it looks so much nicer for garden weddings than almost any real wedding arch (I don't have My Wedding Disasters, so I can't say about those arches).
This happens to me sometimes!! If your back doesn't get better in the next couple days, make an appointment with the chiropractor and have them get some x-rays and see what you need adjusted. Normally, when I hurt myself in a severe way with little movements it's because my hip comes out of place some and it kills me sometimes.
Please take a break if you need to!!! We all love your videos but make sure you take care of yourself!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

Cafe lots are something I use a lot. I just love seeing my sims go there to work for writing, meet up with friends, or for a first date. One of my current teens loves pink and cute things so I can totally see her boyfriend taking her to this lot. I will be adding this to one of the worlds for him to take her too 😊
I feel you on the "severe injury from a mundane task" thing, this time last year I helped my friend carry her groceries up to her third story apartment, and I guess I did it badly because I sprained the heck out of my left shoulder and it still hurts when I do too much with that arm. My friend does not let me help her carry stuff up the stairs anymore. Also me, my partner and my friend have all fallen down the last 4 stairs out of the building before and gotten hurt to varying degrees. I think maybe stairs just have it out for me and my loved ones.
Every once in a while during a speed build she adjusts the volume and i get a little golden nugget. Bare Bones is what the building music in the sims4 should be honestly.

I’m genuinely amazed at Kayla for still posting videos, being excited, while having COVID. Especially with hurting her back on top of that.
When I had COVID, I spent the entire week and a half bed ridden. I didn’t even really watch TV, I just slept the whole time. My partner also had it and just spent his time sleeping or taking baths. I’m genuinely surprised our daughter didn’t get it miraculously. She was only 18 months old at the time, that could’ve ended up pretty bad.
You can use the bouquets from the wedding pack as home decor too.
About wedding dress shopping, I heard that my aunt hated it, because she wanted the perfect dress and everything was either too poofy or had no poof at all, so she spent a whole week only looking for a good dress (one she could wear outside of her wedding as well) and the people working there just kept yelling at her to pick something already after only an hour or so of trying on dresses. That's one of the reasons why she covered most shops in Tyrol. The other being that she wanted that just perfect dress without getting one tailored to her needs. Some stores also refused to serve her either because she had a tattoo, or because she didn't want to buy flower girl dresses yet (since the three were still growing and fast, and the wedding was a year away).

I work in an ER and you’d be surprised how easy it is to pull a muscle 😭 i pulled my calf muscle just by stretching out when i woke up once. the pain is unbearable tho i hope your back it better now 😭

Mix arnica oil and peppermint essential oil. Put it on the whole back. I work as a massage therapist and use this on my clients.

You look so pretty, I can only imagine how beautiful the final dress is 😍 sucks to hear you got Covid, I’m hoping that you don’t get long covid like I did 🤞 drink plenty of water, rest and I recommend upping your protein intake, I wish I knew that sooner bc it’s helped me recover faster but maybe it’s just my experience. Anyway, this build is super cute and I’m definitely gonna try to use it somewhere in my save file

At the ripe old age of 26 I bent over to feed my cat, sneezed, fell forward, slammed my head on the wall & nearly passed out. My head was fine. My back was not. I spent nearly a year in physical therapy for a slipped disk because I sneezed.
I once pulled a muscle off the bone in my shoulder reaching for a loaf of bread... it's okay. We all have some dumb injury stories I'm sure.

Also it's funny you mention the sleeves thing with the dress. I always tell people I don't feel comfortable in sleeveless shirts and no one ever seems to get it.

I would rather have had multi-use lots than the rental system we got. While I got the rental pack, I haven't used the rental feature at all. I wanted it for the b/b selections. I dislike rentals in general (real life and in the game.) I never use the San Myshuno or Eco Lifestyle rentals. (The exception to that is a penthouse I built in San Myshuno that I occasionally use. But it's more like a house that happens to be on top of a building there.)
I'm sorry you're feeling so ill. Because of the way that COVID affects muscles, I'm not surprised that you pulled a muscle. Hopefully, you heal up quickly!

I feel like a restaurant would work well too, if you have that pack. if you only have base game you could make it basically just an upscale bar
Depending on the packs you have but this would be a cute restaurant (dine out), a library (base game), Thrift + bubble tea store (High school years) or a Retail store (get to work)
Covid doesn't stop Simsie from playing sims haha~~

When I was on sims today there was drama.
Blair my sim is pregnant she was napping and chris her husband who already have kids together twin teens got home from work and it’s winter was snowing HARD. But he passed out and then he died on Christmas Eve and the next day was winterfest and the tree burnt down mango there racoon caught on fire but she survived

It is decidedly NOT silly to build something based on screenshot potential. That is the ideal purpose for a date spot in the sims 😤
i made a studio in my legacy house bc i was tired of always using the same spots for nice screenshots. so like. in my legacy house i have a 2 stages "pool house" in which every wall is 100% covered in the most aesthetic things possible and I even use some costumized arts to look even more "real"
the studio is like 2x more expensive than the house but it's worth it.

She had it easy with her back for a few hours. I somehow pulled my shoulder muscles in my SLEEP and had to have therapy for it for two months before it got back to normal. I'm almost 40. LOL
For real, when I get super sick or am in pain to that degree I become the Grinch if not worse.
I didn't get any sleep yesterday and was fighting to stay awake the whole day, was having so much anxiety because I had to get a bunch of things done too and then our dog kept bothering me constantly, bc my mom wasn't at home so he follows me instead. I tried hard not to, but I yelled at him once for constantly walking into the kitchen and staring at me (there's no door, it's not his fault). I felt bad* for it afterwards and I gave him some pets as an apology, but my point is... that day was hell and I become not me when I'm in pain like that. I couldn't imagine making an upbeat video like this when I feel like that.
Having Crohns and arthitis and other things, and having currently tooth pain that I've been having to endure until I get my dental surgery done, saving for six months, I feel ya. And having had multiple surgeries and almost died three times from crohns related things, I just see minor pain as nothing. Like when my mother, she was 56 at the time, never had a surgery before, and she didn't know the pain on her side was, but she was telling me all of her symptoms and sounded like gallbladder, as I had that also, so finally got her into the ER, they did the surgery to remove it, and when she woke up, she got one look at me, shoot her hand into the air to grab mine and went "Honey, I didn't know this is what you went through. I am so sorry I ever thought you were lying about your pain." That still gets me to this day.@@th0rne_999

I get the insecure vibes with adding sleeves to your wedding dress BUT GIRL YOU'RE GORGEOUS and above anything else, you are SO LOVED (by Dan and your family, of course) but also by SO MANY people around the world that have you as a good part of their every day routine/life and you don't even know what kind of impact you actually have ❤️ you could literally wear the basegame wedding dress and you'd make it work and we'd love it on you, so please don't worry too much and overthink this and just wear what speaks to you and do what makes you feel comfortable and what you love as that's the most important thing in life, and trust me, this community will ALWAYS support you!!! 🤗

The EA locking thigs behind packs and then rereleasing them for free annoys the HELL out of me same with the hot tub, I'm glad we're getting sth for free but if I bought the pack I'd be pissed lmao

I think the thing with the plastic chairs is just that at least in my country these are exactly the chairs everyone has in their garden/summer cabin and you would NEVER see them inside. You would also fiund them at cheap restaurants' gardens in typical summer destinations. We keep them outside all year long, even during winter etc 😅 It's just weird to see them inside lol
I know that you were scared about the wedding dress shopping and I ALWAYS feel the same way. But I LITERALLY cryed when I saw that video and the last dress was absolutely stunning and if that was the one you didn’t buy, the one you did buy must be perfect and gorgeous!! And I have to say that the ”skinny dress” one you also tryed looked so pretty on you and you looked like a queen and so beautifull! But I also myself like more of the ”puff sleeve” styled like the last one and you did look so beautifull and like a disney princess

I feel you with the wedding dress shopping. I am not a girly-girl, but I somehow fell in love with a very princessy dress for my wedding. It was also the last time I saw my mother before she passed, so it is a precious memory for me now.
