Thanks for posting, I got lost tonight where the trail breaks in Falls Church by the metro. Cool shifters man.

Cool! It has been a goal of mine for a while to ride my inline skates along the entire length of this trail. I have been on short sections at the northern end near Purcellville and Leesburg, but have not gone any further than that. Starting from that end seems to give you much more downhill sections, so I will probably start from there when I do eventually make the journey! 40+ miles is a lot on skates though hahaha, my legs will be dead after that!

ROFL 23:30 made this ride even better. Surreal and hilarious.

julian B The W&OD does cross over the Dulles Access Road/267, but it crosses out in Reston near the Reston Wiehle metro stop. I think your best bet for great falls would be to ride out W&OD till great falls St. and follow that to the park. The W&OD does not directly intersect with great falls park, but it does cross great falls st.

I know you cut off part of the video so let me ask you: how long did the full ride take?

It took right around an hour or so, depending on just how tired I was that day. If I recall correctly, the ride home was a little harder, but did have some opportunities to go faster. The difficult run section going back is a false flat that can be really challenging and eat up some time.
