Very cool! I never thought I would ever see a fish wanting belly rubs but that's one of the awesome things about nature. There is always something new to see.
Awww! She’s beautiful, thank you for making a video about her!
I love Methuselah so much!!
Needs a bigger tank, she deserves it!!!!!
She was put in a bigger tank with other fishes but did not like and acted like a Karen.
Watching this 5 yrs later, wondering if she is still alive?? She's beautiful... Very cool story..
Still alive, estimated to be 92 years old!
I love her too!
No downvotes. Good job world.
Did you see the small tank ( 0:54 time mark) this poor fish has been living in for the past 8 DECADES? That’s cruel. She deserves a larger tank.
@@agua9999 quit whining softie...in the wild, this fish will get preyed on by both humans and bigger, aggressive fish like sharks...be grateful that this fish is in safe environment getting belly rubs and feed 3 meals/day.
Old Fish. Good job fishie.
The Aquarium has so many amazing and singular exhibits, and I have been there many times. Somehow, I have missed learning about Methuselah. I will be sure to visit her next time I'm there.
It’s sad that this fish has lived decades in this small tank.

there's an interview with Allan Jan in a chinese youtube channel where he explain that they tried putting the fish in a bigger aquarium/habitat but the fish end up not liking it. its this one if you wanna watch it yourself ua-cam.com/video/Ueo01WHLLKY/v-deo.html
In another video they said they put her in a larger tank with 2 other lungfish and she showed behavior that indicated she didn't like it so they put her back in her tank.
Cute grandpa but the “evolution “ thing they say is pure bs lol
WTF? LOL at creationists.
