Thankfully he took the shot in his shoulder. It would've been so annoying if Vanth had been removed from the SW universe by Cad Bane shortly after reintroducing him to the show (which I theorized would happen in this show since he's on Tattooine, he's a Marshall..)
@@AnotherStarWarsPodcast I'm pretty confident Grogu will choose Mando and join him in season 3. Filoni and Favreau know that Grogu is one if not the most important character in this new chapter of Star Wars content. There were plenty of hints pointing to that choice like when Luke sensed that Grogu's heart wasn't really committed, Din being unable to stop focusing on Grogu and ultimately the fact that Filoni knows that us viewers and fans want Din and Grogu to continue their adventures in the next season (and the season after that etc.).
So if Grogu was around at the Jedi temple before Order 66, then Yoda should've known about him right? I mean, he would have to. And if anyone remembers, there is a scene where we see Yaddle (a female member of Yoda's species that's also a Jedi) in Attack of the Clones (she's sitting on the Jedi council) So, my theory is that Grogu is the child of Yoda and Yaddle. Knowing that we have both members of Yoda's species present around the same time that Grogu is still just a child, it stands to reason that Yoda got it on with Yaddle. Maybe not out of love or anything, but out of a need to keep their species going. Their species has never really been explained so what if they were all that's left? And now we have Grogu. Edit: another theory is that Grogu could be a clone of Yoda. Seeing the hints with Boba being the only exact clone of Jango (Omega isn't technically an exact clone), and Order 66 with the clones (so we know Grogu was around during cloning), as well as the cloning hints we got with Moff Gideon, that could also be a possible storyline.
I think Grogu will choose the best. Then Luke has to bring him to Mando on Tatooine. Luke gets drawn into the conflict (bye bye Pykes), Grogu gets to use Yoda's saber but Like takes it back, letting Grogu be the Mandalorian/Jedi who who welds the Darksaber. Otherwise no point in mentioning he was his foundling so often in this episode. Looking forward to The Leaflet of Boba Fett episode 7!!!
Just my two cents on the direction of some of these characters. Grogu is going to go with the armor. He will be in Season 3 of The Mandolarian. And just like with Luke, he will go full circle with his training. Because he is with Mando, he will learn how to use a lightsaber. He will eventually learn to craft his own. And as Luke was told once he learns to craft a saber, his training will be complete. Mando is going to changing professions. This starfighter isn't really cut out for Bounty work. But it was chosen for a reason. I'm expecting more than a few space battles coming to Star Wars TV.
@@SpartanWolffe I would love for them to do the Ashoka alternate universe thing they teased in rebels, where it just becomes two timelines. There are loads of fans, me excluded btw., who love the sequels, this way everyone can be happy
Yeah Grogu will go with Mando then perhaps live with him for a few decades, and come back and rebuild the Jedi Order with Ahsoka (and Ezra?) post-sequels.
I just can't see Grogu learning the force on his own. He is way too child-like and sleepy. There would have to be a time jump of several years before we can even see Grogu able to wield a lightsaber. Maybe he will choose the armor but Luke will make an exception to keep in touch with him. Or Ezra will join Mando.

Theres no way that happens so soon, Thing of how big theyre building this expanded universe, Mandalorian is the Iron Man of his Disney + universe, hes here to the end.
I'm starting to think this series was given the wrong title. It should have been a one season series with the name "Star Wars Legacies". A jumping off point for the other series.
Or just "Star Wars: The Show" since everything in these shows are canon. It does feel like Disney/Filoni & Co is building a unified cinematic universe where the shows won't be separate entities but instead feature all these characters coming in no matter what the title of the show is.. sort of like how Marvel is building the huge unified Marvel Cinematic Universe (minus the messy and confusing timeline stuff ;) ). This means that future movies and possibly trilogies aren't bound to the events in triple trilogy (well, the sequel trilogy kinda ignored a lot of the foundations that the first six movies had built) and can go in different directions, using the new/reintroduced canon characters/lore as a starting point. They may even go back to the Old Republic era (Revan is already rumored to be a focal point in future Disney shows/movies) since Disney finally understand that a majority of SW fans want more Sith content. They already teased us with a BD droid in the last episode, something they wouldn't do if they aren't planning on bringing more lore and characters (Cal Kestus, Meetra Surik, Revan, Malak, Kreia, Darth Nihilus, Darth Bane and him introducing "The Rule of Two" etc. etc.) from the best SW games (Kotor 1 & 2 + Fallen Order) where the KotOR games contain some amazing lore and storytelling that would blow all our minds. I'd love to see a live action Kreia (perhaps following her journey from Jedi Master -> Darth Traya -> Kreia) with the same voice actress. The possibilites are endless and with these shows it's clear that LucasArts and Disney have opened up the entire universe to tell stories in. I wonder if this was decided after they put nearly everything on hold after the sequel trilogy where they changed their future strategy; After all, Kathleen Kennedy heavily criticized and chastised for the decision to leave the writing and control over each sequel episode to the respective filmmaker which led to a... well, let's just say that the sequel trilogy could have been "slightly" better and followed lore and foundation created by the previous six episodes instead of ruining the most important/legendary character from the original trilogy. Oh well.
