Вставка
- Опубліковано 24 вер 2020
- Headed back to our hunting grounds for another season in our mini jet boats we built. 8 day hunt, passed on a smaller moose the second day only to get one on the 6th day. Not the trophy moose Ian got the year before but its meat in the freezer. .

Where are you guys from?
I love hearing all the places people are watching this at.
Glad you guys are enjoying the video!
Pennsylvania. Really nice video btw. All you need is a drone yet. That scenery is insane!
@Tyler Miller Hi Tyler from Pennsylvania! Thanks man appreciate that. You are right! I really should have pulled out the drone. I had it with me. I was too busy trying to use the new camera but some drone footage would have been awesome. I just cant fly it till after the hunt is over so its a short window. Here is the same spot where I used my Mavic pro 2. Thanks again! ua-cam.com/video/aSpp-Fnt6Do/v-deo.html
Watching from Brazil! What a place! Nice hunting!
@@jeffersonwandalen7257 Hi Jefferson from Brazil! Its seems Brazil is 2nd or 3rd most to watch my videos. Thank you!
@Kris DeVo No problem. Really liked that other video. Man I need to move to Alaska😃
I love that you added the processing in at the end. So much work but the best feeling when it’s all in the freezer. I love the whole process of securing a meat supply.
Thank you! It is definitely why we pull the trigger in the first place. Love having moose in the freezer instead of buying meat at the store and the processing part is long but rewarding.
Great video guys. Looks like the way me and my crew do it in the Yukon. Love to see the final product, not just the grip n grin!
I also have a well outfitted work shop with power and hand tools . I have been forced to stop hunting because of heath/age. The Alaskan way of life really appeals to me. I really enjoy the filming of your adventures. Your arranging of your shop and projects is very envious. I live in Southern Illinois,
What an adventure! Building your boats and being able to get to places like this...wow!!! I’ve been to AK twice, and I love the Northern Lights 💚
Awesome thank you!!
Watching from New Zealand. Good stuff guys. You guys are well set up. Nice to see your processing.
Hi Chris from NZ! Thanks, glad you liked the video. Cheers

Amazing! Can't wait until your next moose video. I appreciate how you took us through the entire process.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Those trees are amazing looking.
I think so too, sure is pretty out there that time of year
Nice hunt. Marlin 1895 GS with a Vortex scope. One shot from the .45-70. Life is good. Every moose is a trophy. Blessings.
Thanks! You running the GS with a Vortex? This was the SBL with a Nightforce. Looking to get a different scope for it as this one belongs to a different rifle.
Great filming of wonderful places. Good hunt & for food. France
Buen video amigo siga adelante, saludos desde Zacapa Guatemala.
Thanks for showing the meat processing. It’s like a whitetail times 20. From Michigan.
You bet
Increíble, amigo. Saludos desde Argentina.
Thank you Sergio!
Do you want to eat Moose meat, or just stare at the Horn`s hanging on a shed wall? You don`t know how lucky you guy`s are to beable to harvest such quality meat, best of luck next year.
Why don't they know if they're hunting for it ?? Something doesn't click between your ears.
i neve met even animal moose
Lindo Lugar, tem uma Magia única, parabéns por trazer imagens incríveis.
Another fantastic video. Now I love Alaska even more! That was a great trip! But I don't think this old Georgia boy is up for 8 days in the woods. Let me see, lots of meat containing no drugs for the families. Yum, yum. What time is dinner ready? I'll clean the kitchen. :->
Really appreciate that Jim! Thank you!
My dream hunt. I’ve been a hunter all my life and hunted big game in every western province of Canada. There’s nothing more exciting than calling a bull in during the rut.
100%!
In your adventures I'm sure you must have seen or heard something strange, weird, not normal out there in that forest. I have. Great video thanks for the hard work putting it together
Sometimes you do think so. Thanks!
Awesome man. Very cool.
Thanks!
Ho
I am from Yemen n i like your vidio.
The places where you were is amazing,
Be blessed
Nice trick with the board to smash the meat down after the vacuum pack going to have to use that good hunt fellas
Sweet! Thanks Bryan.
Amazing video. Greetings from Norway.
What an awesone well done hunt, harvest and processing of fine nutritious Moose meat!
I very well remember just how tasty Moose can be!
Years ago when I lived in Tallinn Estonia at the Main market place they would sell smoked Moose sausage. Which was absolutely superb tasting and nutritious.
One day if feasable I will have to go on such a Moose Hunt- Harvest!
Keep up the good work.
Safe Journeys!
Thank you! Yes after the first time I had moose I was hooked. Very tasty like your saying. Curious how the smoked sausage was in Tallinn. Hope you get out for one!
@@KrisDeVo
Yot got it!
I want to test my speciality Hunting Universal Bullets in harvesting a Moose.
Yep Moose meat is addicting!
Estonia has similar terrain, Floria and Fauna as Alaska. We also have the Red Stag which is related to American Elk- Wapati, Eurasian Brown Bear and many thousands of Moose. With hunting seasons for Moose, Red Stag, Bear, Wild Boar etc.
Moose are harvested and smoked sausage is made and sold in the capitol city Tallinn.
When I lived in Tallinn back in mid 1990's the Moose sausage was about 2 feet long and 1.1/4 inch thick in gerth.
The Moose sausage was the most expensive and absolute best smoked sausage I have ever eaten in my lifetime.
fantastic video. inspired by your work.
Thank you! Cheers!

@@KrisDeVo I shoot LIKE ok buddy! 👍🍁💕🥂🍁👌
Looking good Kris
Thanks!
The trophy is the meat!
I do agree
So relax in this video but might be its hard ..living in Alaska.👍👍 Bro ..from Malaysia.
Muito bom! Adorei a caçada 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great video, city slicker here and never been a hunter but appreciate seeing it done. What do you do with the head and hide? Toronto, Ontario here
Thank you! Dont do much with the head or hide one a moose unless your looking to mount it. We do take the tongue. The hair on a moose is hard and hollow so not great for a rug or what not.
Where was this filmed looks amazing
Outside Seattle
Awesome hunt! What kind of meat grinder do you got there?? I’d like to get one. Looks like it’s working real nice
Cabelas 1hp
Great video 👍
Thank you!
Great content. What camera and mic are you using? Superb quality

From Panama, nice video.¡¡
Hi Ruben from Panama! Thanks. I really do love seeing where everybody is from.
nature is very extraordinary and very beautiful
You live in the land of my dreams!) I enjoy watching your video!
Great job!!
Increible!! 👌🏻👌🏻..
Your buddy took the pass on the first bull very well....did you add any fat to the ground meat?
Yeah he definitely did. Its always been a conversation we've had and first time it happened like this. We don't add any fat to the ground burger. We do add pork shoulder to the sausage though.
Espetacular!!!
nice vid, do you need a metal hull or will fiberglass work??
This place eats boats. Metal with a UHMW bottom
Nice moose. What beautiful meat. Yummy!
passionate about hunting
Good hunting...... Bro....
Florida I love ❤️🙏🏻🥰
Delicious looking meat and I'm sure it will taste great and bring back memories of a great hunt in Alaska. Thanks for sharing the video.
Thank you!
Where abouts were you hunting? I got a draw tag for 16B and plan on heading up the Yenta. Any tips you have and might be willing to share would be awesome! I also do woodworking in Anchorage!
All I get is a “hearted” comment. Cmon brother!
Watching from Panama, not too bad video
Chạy quá tốc độ quá cao mình thường xem thanks you hi hi
Great hunt and video!
Give info / details on boats please.
Thanks! The boats are built and designed by both of us. They are 14.5 foot bow to transom and 16' overall. 200 hp turbo Honda motors.
Great video Kris. I've had Elk before, How does moose compare ?
Thanks Ed, Moose is tip top!
hat’s a dream trip come true man
Waow.. perfect hunter... 🥰🥰
❤️❤️❤️❤️
That’s a dream trip come true man 😂
My absolute favorite game meat, I can remember helping my grandmother make moose sausage.
Уважаю таких охотников!!!
Hi Chris! Cool video! I signed up! Please tell me what is the name of the music that plays at the beginning of the video? Who is the performer?
Would like to see the motor and pump setup.
I live in the NWT. Hunt in the Mackenzie mountains with jet boat. Do all the same as you guys. Bigger boats.

Remember when it's all over and done, you can't eat the antlers. That was a lovely Bull you harvested, I hope it feeds your families well. Truly, I wish you success on your next hunt. I have always hunted for meat, it was just the way I was raised. However, if a fantastic "Walter" of a Bull were to present himself, whether It's an arrow or the 45-70 the next place he's bedding down is in my deep freeze!
Thank you, I appreciate that! Was a good lesson learned. Wont pass up on a chance to fill the freezers for the familys again.
What's the size of the bear fence? looks spacious.
what motor you running in the jet ?
Its a 200hp Honda turbo
Was this in selatna?
Awesome job! Been following your mini jet boat videos for quite a while now and that looks like the way to travel in your neck of the woods. Down here in the Mississippi River Delta part of the world outboard props are king, but those things look like a heck of a good time! The only place near here where jets are used is in some of the trout fishing rivers in northern Arkansas, but they are almost 100% small (25-40HP range) outboard jets. I've always heard those small outboards really drink the gas compared to the same displacement prop motors. I'd be curious what the fuel consumption is on these mini jets. I know it'd be hard to put a number to since it's going to vary so much depending on load and what you're doing with it, but curious how much you'd fuel you'd plan for on a hunt like this and what amount of river miles you'd plan on covering?
Thanks Bryan appreciate that! Yeah I think prop is the most efficient hp to water and also fuel consumption. I know the outboard jets have a 30% loss or so. Not sure where inboard stands with that but definitely pros and cons. Our boats are heavy, 1700-1800lbs and with a 200hp Honda turbo. Best case for us is 4 to 5 mpg and 2mpg worst case with a heavy load type thing. We burned about 140gls this run. Not sure of the actual miles we ran for.
from Morocco
very beautiful places
Hi Nabil from Marocco. Thank you
Great hunt
Thanks!
good I would like to ask you what it takes to live in Alaska like this?
Not exactly sure the question but Alaska has cities just like most places. Makes it easy to get a job and get a start here before figuring out where and what you want to do in this great state.
