I saw where you had an episode, and I started worrying! If something happens and you pass out or something like that, do you wear anything that can alert an ambulance, or medical help? I couldn't sleep last night worried about you. I saw how very serious Pharaby was, and I haven't seen that before. She had a hard look on her face I haven't seen either. What do you do for emergencies? I am SO glad you are ok! Pharaby does take her job very seriously. She is an AWESOME dog!!! Love you guys!❤
I don’t pass out, luckily. I just get really dizzy & confused but pharaby 💕 tells me before it happens so I t’s a much shorter episode. But I’m always conscious 🤗 I just need to lay down or sit down if I’m somewhere I can’t lay. It passes relatively quick for the most part as long as I listen to her. If I don’t listen and sit down, it makes it way worse & i suspect I could potentially pass out. That’s why it’s important that she is with me all the time. but as long as I listen to her, then generally I can get up and be on my way within 10-30 minutes at the most. It passes relatively quick for the most part as long as I listen to her and sit down. If I don’t listen quickly and sit down, it makes it way worse. I’m tired after but I have it together enough to continue on with whatever I’m doing for the most part & then go lay down & rest ASAP. It’s just not always possible to stop what I’m doing instantly. Like the night this happened I was cooking dinner so I listen to her and got up as soon as it was OK and ate my dinner 🤗
@@JenFarrer I was so worried! I must say Pharaby was right on it! I thought she might knock the breath out of you when she did that little pounce. But She knows her job! I don't know how dogs can sense these problems, but I have had many poodles growing up, not trained, of course, but they have a very keen sense of what is going on, and what you need. Oh my gosh.... I am so glad to hear you're ok. You take it easy and rest! I will be waiting for the next video. Love you guys!!❤️
That's the best bread! Same kind I buy. Some things I just have to pay for name brand, but others can be store brand. My bread has to be the Sara Lee Artesano. 😀
I have complex ptsd & I dissociate a lot(my service dog is trained to bring me to a safe person or bring me home when I dissociate)& I get being spacey a couple days after dissociating too. Stay safe❣️🐕🦺
Looks like you got the same amount of snow as we did... im in middle Tennessee so not that far away from you. We get snow here a little more often though.... Pharaby seemed to like the snow. It was fun watching her experience it. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I love the longer videos.
on the night of the us election my rescue dog and cat did the same to me - hopped on top and wouldn’t let me move - i have complex ptsd - neither of them are trained and they do not get along but when i woke up they were still both on top of me!!
We have 8 inches. Had to shovel a track around the yard so Peggy could poop. She loves the ❄️ snow but it's hard on her pads. She refuses to wear boots. She freezes and refuses to move so we just clean and dry them good.
I taught her to respond in the way that I needed and overtime She’s learned to recognize the signs so she can let me know before it happens. But at first she was just responding, which was still extremely helpful.
I just saw you links for the dog boots. Sadly these don't work for my service dog. I've tried so many. They all fall off his feet! He's only a 65lb standard but he has the typical big feet and skinny legs! Ive tried the buttons and he understands, and gets excited for the thing if I step on it - but he refuses to step on them..?? Anyway, I really enjoy you and Pharaby.
Teach him to touch starting with like a Post-it note or some thing on the floor and make a big deal. I guess the coolest thing he’s ever done in his life. 🤗 gradually have him touch the button. Sock might be helpful for the boots 💜 we have the ruffwear socks but I think toddler or baby socks would be ok too.
@@JenFarrer Thanks, we have used toddler socks, but still no luck with them staying on. I just ordered a new pair, so we'll see. As for the buttons, it's funny. He accidentally stepped on it once and I made a BIG DEAL about it and he was so happy - but then he still stares at me to step on the buttons. He has a thing about his feet in general. We'll keep trying. Thanks so much for all you do and all you share.
The person who packed your groceries must have not paid attention to their CBL training (Computer Based Training),because you're shown how to package groceries.
She has slipped on them before so as long as I’m feeling OK, I pick her up and carry her up. She always walks down on her own. For some reason she has a tendency to kinda scramble getting started at the bottom when heading up.
Awesome video!! I love these videos!!❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thank you ☺️ have a great day!

💜 have a great rest of the weekend!

That’s a lot! Thank goodness we didn’t get that much here or we would still be stuck for weeks to come 🙈
How did you teach her to recognize and respond to dissociation?

That store must’ve skipped that part of training because every time I get groceries from them it’s like that 🤣
I expect that if people are hurried too much, they don’t have time to be thoughtful - might be a stressful job, hey?
Why do you carry Pharaby up the stairs? I’m just being nosy… ❤
