Going through a breakup, and this is the tune man. It's too late, I'm having one too many drinks, it sucks that they muted the song but it's still the same as when I was growing up. Always gotta do what's right by you - I hope you're well, whoever's readin!
@jamietmusic_ wow, I didn't expect a response, but yeah man, I'm doing good, tks I figured the reason I'm late, I was living in Canada from 2001 to 2015 and back in England (Saff London girl) since then and oh how I've missed British music. I don't think I realised it. I've been harassing my nephews to give me new music, new bands and I'm so grateful one of them suggested I listen to you. I don't know that I've listened to all your tracks yet, but I've got some that I listen to repeatedly, such as 'Sheila' - 'Sticks n Stones' - 'If you got the money' to name a few. Your a joy to listen too, your music makes me so happy, it gets me up and dancing around, it makes me feel energised. Thanks man. I don't know where you're at as far as releasing new music, but would love to hear more, good luck, Jamie and nice to meet you also.

@jamietmusic_ oh that's a tough one. I'm not really a favourites person. I'm more of a 'oh, I love this one' then the next track 'oh, I love this one' and so on and so on, so they're all my favourites to be honest. :)

None of us heard her coming
I guess the carpet weren't rolled out
[Sample]
It's over man, it's over
London!
[Verse 3]
So this a short story about the girl Georgina
Never seen a worse, clean young mess
Under stress at best, but she's pleased to see you
With love, God bless, we lay her body to rest
Now it all dear started with Daddy's alcoholic
Light weights chinking down, numbing his brain
And the doctor said he couldn't get the heart dear started
Now beat up, drugged up, she feeling the strain
She says, "When I fall, no-one catch me
Alone lonely, I'll overdose slowly
Get scared, I'll scream and shout"
But you know it won't matter, she'll be passing out
I said gigidy-bigidy-up just another day
Another sad story, that's tragedy
Paramedic announced death at 10:30
Rip it up, kick it, to spit up the views
[Hook]
Sheila goes out with her mate Stella
It gets poured all over her fella
'Cause she says, man, he ain't no better
Than the next man kicking up fuss (London!)
Drunk, she stumbles down by a river
Screams calling London
None of us heard her coming
I guess the carpet weren't rolled
Sheila goes out with her mate Stella
It gets poured all over her fella
'Cause she says, man, he ain't no better
Than the next man kicking up fuss
Drunk, she stumbles down by a river
Screams calling London (London!)

I guess the carpet weren't rolled out

[Sample: John Betjeman]
Oh, when my love, my darling, you've left me here alone
I'll walk the streets of London which once seemed all our own
The vast suburban churches, together we have found
The ones which smelt of gaslight, the ones in incense drowned
[Verse 1]
Her lingo went from the Cockney to the Gringo
Anytime she sing a song, the other girls sing along
And tell all the fellas that the lady is single
Fickle way to tickle on my young man's ting
She's up for doing what she like, any day more like the night
She drowned, drunk sorrows that she stole, bought, borrowed
She didn't like fights but at the same time understood
Fellas will be fellas 'til the end of time
[Sample: John Betjeman]
(Good heavens, you boys!
Blue blooded murder of the English tongue
BLUH!
[Verse 2]
Jack had a gang that he called the Many Grams
He was known as Smack Jack the Crackerman
In life he was dealt some shit hands
But the boys got the back now
And Jay went the same way as Mickey and Dan
Dependent mans upon the heroin
And man, Lisa had a baby with Sam
And now Jack's on his own man
Well done, Jack, glug down that cider
You're right, she's a slut and you never fucking liked her
Not like what, he stopped, so shocked
'Cause it turned out the last dance killed the pied piper.

I never knew Jamie T was so old!
Fair play.
Reminds me of a friend who is no longer with us. Taken far too young. RIP Lewis.

R.I.P. Bob x
Going through a breakup, and this is the tune man. It's too late, I'm having one too many drinks, it sucks that they muted the song but it's still the same as when I was growing up. Always gotta do what's right by you - I hope you're well, whoever's readin!
Still slaps 2023!!
A true masterpiece ahead of its time.
The song of my youth. Remember this from years back in Ireland. RIP Bob Hoskins
What a tune. Chilling from start to finish
This song is up there with Pumped Up Kicks in the “fun sounding tune with depressing lyrics” category.
I can see where you're coming from actually haha
Yup, two uplifting sounding songs with dark undertones.... Incidentally two of my favourite songs ❤️
And Hey Yah by outcast
*The Smiths have entered the chat*

Lol. This song is always on in my house. My small children know it well. It's one of the greats I say
Can't believe I'm so late to the party, love this track, man.
@jamietmusic_ Thank you, that's real nice of you. I'm just about to listen to Panic Prevention for the gabazillionth time. This is a fantastic album, I totally love. :)
@jamietmusic_ I got introduced to your music about a month ago by one of my young nephews, I've been pretty much listening to you every day since. I'm hooked, mate...lol :)
@jamietmusic_ oh that's a tough one. I'm not really a favourites person. I'm more of a 'oh, I love this one' then the next track 'oh, I love this one' and so on
and so on, so they're all my favourites to be honest. :)
Another slice of life.
True stories 😊
Rest In Pieces Bob ❤
Rest in peace Bob Hoskins. A British legend.....

Absolute tune. Jamie T is one of my favourite singers in this universe. His songs are just amazing. This and sticks and stones is my favourite. His songs need more attention during this time.
RIP Bob Hoskins legend.
Never seen this before . So glad I have .
RIP Bob Hoskins..... this tune is a work of art
I literally don't care. This song makes me wretch
Classic tune !
That melody over that bassline is top class.
Shout out to everyone listening to this BANGER in 2022. Literally will never age!!
I know he's a national treasure and recognised for so many roles but in my opinion this was Bob's finest moment......I also don't know what character he was trying to portray here or whether of not it was himself....the fact is that it's total genius and so profound.........
R.I.P. Bob. 😢

RIP Bob! Legend
Discovered this via Radio X (Moyles, natch) last year. Can't believe it passed me by, but could've been released yesterday, still resonates. 'Course then we wouldn't have had this mint Bob Hoskins (RIP) video and the world would've been a poorer place for it. Brings tears to the eyes, and anyone says different, they're lying.
