Not surprisingly settles in ,so needs tweaking. Disks rub and need adjusting anyway. Good idea for older bikes, probably could improve the design of these mounts....
The bracket ought to be fitted to the outside of the rear dropout and held in place by quick release skewer, this would rule out having to remove a spacer from the axle, and also making the bracket easier to adjust.
that adapter is for bikes who had fork end on the rear. thats why he had difficulties to unmount his wheel because his bike frame is not a fork end like track bikes
that looks like it would take the Klein-Trek disc adaptor that was used on bikes like the 2005 trek 7300fx disc.. it has those two holes in the rear dropout and overlaps inside.. both IS and PM versions exist. otherwise.. I'd just sell that bike and get the ZERMATT or something
Mmh I think the mount of the 2 screw parts can be improve with a other part. Or put a 3d print part between the clamp and the frame. I have a smaller frame as the 22mm clamp and I need 2 3d print parts to fit it tight. I would threw away the screws and use screws with Alan Key and a screw nut with security Ring In It that it can be move from it own. But out side of this clamp part it is good to use?
Good to know, yes, the mount is good except for the clamp part, by the way, I’ve found a better mount, take a look: Disc Brake Converter 2.0: Trek 930 Goes Full Disc Brakes! ua-cam.com/video/vBfyoB_95ow/v-deo.html
@@DanyoSports I knew but I have a other Form and there that mount doesnt work. My wheel mount is the classic old from around 1998. It's this old where the wheel is insert 45° from front in it. And I have no fast mount
This adapter does not hold at all. The iron it is made of is very thin and bends. At the front, the clamp is 1 millimeter and on the first stop, the brake caliper goes into the spokes of the rim. The clip in the front is breaking. DON'T BUY IT ! ! ! IT DOESN T WORK ! ! !
This is very helpful I'm thinking of converting an old bike into an e-bike, I'm thinking of adding hydraulic disk brakes.
I’m glad that you found it helpful.
Change the screws on the mount from philips to hex key so that you can tighten those better.

Im glad i found you thank you man .
Thanks for doing this. Very helpful video.
Thank you men!!

What if you weld the Mount on to the frame?
Did you end up with anything new to replace this "temporary" mount?
Really helpful one💪

Technique here is to place an inner tube to hold on the disc brake mount. The inner tube wil prevent it from moving.
put rubber between clamp frame mount.
Yes, that’s a good idea.
yeah. this is the first thing that popped to my mind while watching this video.
Thanks good video
What about welding it ?

Its that 30mm?
Is okay if your attach hydraulic brakes in converter or break adaptor?
Yes, it would work the same.
would have been nice too see inside of wheel fitting
Bro send the product link
These will flex forever its not a good adapter. Too flimsy more like an unengineered adaptrr
This one is better:
