Just picked up a PCR that spent some time at CZ Custom in Mesa AZ. It’s got an amazing trigger, as it should. I’m going to get it milled, but for a RMSc pattern if possible. I like a smaller optic. Yours looks awesome!!!
I managed to find a second slide for my PCR, so I'm sending it in to get it milled for my Holoson. I'm going to get the Pro Package done as well. I've always wanted to work on my PCR, but didn't want to touch the original slide.

I'm not criticizing here just curious, but is there any reason you smack the slide release take down pin with a mag as opposed to using a corner of the mag and pressing it through? It definitely gets the job done, but I believe I recall the manual showing the corner of a mag and press method. I guess that's why I've always done it as such lol. Anyways, FREAKING WORKS OF ART you have there sir! I carry the PCR myself and don't think I could ever go back to any of my previous carries, especially with the Mcarbo kit, guide rod, etc etc I put in it.
Should have gone with Cajun Gun Works, they mill low enough to use your stock sights as backup sights. I’m on the waitlist for my pcr right now. Super excited to see the dot on it. I installed the pro defensive kit on mine myself and it’s an awesome set up now. I think with the red dot it’ll be on par with a staccato. I prefer da/sa for a carry pistol. Particularly because I carry appendix. The pistol looks really nice! Sometimes I regret now getting a p01 so I’ll probably pick one up in the future. I’ve used my pcr for 9 years now so I’m very faithful to it.
@@Culatazo I’m going with the 407 or 507k, I have them on a few other pistols and they work really well for a defensive firearm. Plus the battery is side load which imho is a must.
Gun looks good and I dig me some 75's....but if you were going for a staccato look lol you could have bought the real thing for about the same money as you have in that PCR....700ish for gun, im guessing here mind you but im gonna say 2-300 for parts upgrades, 500 for slide serrations optic cut and refinish....put you about 1500 bucks. OK so maybe not quite the same money we are still 500 bucks shy....
Picked up my pcr for $500 9 years ago. Bought CGW internals and installed myself so only $150 in parts, then $150 for slide milling/refinishing. $800 total. So way less than a staccato for a way more reliable pistol with better self defense attributes.
So is the CZ 75 PO one the only one that can be converted to single action only? I thought somebody told me you cannot convert the Cocker model to single action only I love everything you’ve done to your guns. I am so jealous I really really want, one like the single action only one you have I have a shadow two compact that I had converted at CZ Custom to single action only and I love it but now I’d like to get up PO one or a D and get it converted and get it milled for optic.
You have to have the safety model…. Decocker model cannot be done. Mine was the rare steel frame model- you can also do the standard cz75 compact (no rail) if you cannot find the steel frame.
i have frowned on the PCR as the last of the CZcompacts that i would buy. But that is sweet enough to duplicate. i love it i wish you had shown the sight pic but o well those serrations set it off. is it hard to rack the slide from the back with the optic in place??? it looked like a lil bet less purchase.
I’ve only carried one gun ever, a Glock 19 gen 3. I still carry it now and I’m thinking of getting a new carry gun for 2022. Is it heavy to appendix carry this? Will the weight be a factor for an individual who’s so used to carry a polymer handgun.
It’s not much heavier if you get the d pcr which is aluminum, it’s a way better pistol than the Glock 19 not even close. Especially if you install the CGW pro defensive carry package. It’s crazy smooth and accurate.
Does the de-cocker PCR slide work with the manual safety P-01 frame, though? The sear cage assemblies are different for de-cocker and manual safety models...

So I would recommend a p07 first- then either pcr or p01. You will learn to appreciate the better trigger system in the metal guns if you plan on upgrading. My p07 I will always regret selling
@@poptard182 I'm a sucker for the classic design of the 75 P-01/PCR and have no have no plan on adding a light for edc so the PCR seems like a goldilocks gun of concealability, ergonomics, and shoot ability, as is the P-01. Would replace sights on PCR with Dawson fo front and I saw a CZ custom rear that extends the dovetail and sight radius. Still researching best trigger upgrade options but I'm liking this set up with either the P-01 or PCR
Co-witnessing is overrated. You diminish the full potential of your red dot and your irons. Especially with small sights like 507K or RMRcc. Why make it even smaller? And if you use large red dot optics it would look ugly on a small slide of the guns you had mentioned. If your red dot dies just take it off. Bad things usually happen within a short distance. So in an emergency you would still be able to use your gun. If you are really set on that set-up, the P01 is a great gun. You would need suppressor height sights and I would splurge on a plate and larger optics. Just get something sturdy like RMR, not SRO. The red dot optics will also help you to rack the slide. Racking the slide on small CZ guns is not a positive experience because the slides rest inside the frame. Since you are a newbie, don't mess with installing lighter triggers. You will need a heavy double action trigger for your safety.
wouldn't it be less expensive to buy a new slide that's red dot ready than sending it in for all the work needed to put a red dot on it! Never mind they want as much for a slide as the mill work!
Centermass concealment will get you set up with a custom rig for like $50. Way cheaper than ANR or T1 or any other mass shop. He will talk to you on phone to make sure you get what you want. I have like 6 holsters from him. They are perfect. The only thing I do is switch the clips out for discrete carry concept clips.

Cz pcr is king. Ccw it for 7 years now. Did the CGW pro defensive carry kit and put the 10 spring follower kit in my promags for 16+1 in a g19 sized pistol. My favorite pistol by far.
My cz 75 compact is brand new so new that I'm picking it up today at the local gun Smith it was sent to. This is exactly why I bought it. I wanted to do some new school stuff on an old platform. Was this expensive to have done?

After many Reddit reviews and watching this video, I am definitely sold on Impact Machine for my optic cut! Couple quick questions. Are you using the Trijicon 1911 mounting plate with the integrated rear sight? Or does Impact Machine use their own style mounting plate? And If it is there own plate, is the rear sight fixed in the plate like the Trijicon 1911 mount?

Yes, it only impacts the frame internals- however I do not know if it works with the omega, since it is a different operating system

Use the red dot to rack it if needed. The serrations make it really easy though

I’ve carried it for 2 years, carried heavier guns too. It’s all about a good holster and belt!

I took that one from my shadow 2 , they are compatible. They standard safety on the p01 is too easily moved

In the slide? The firing pin retaining pin? Yes on all of them. Cajun gun works as soon as I started modifying them

I have 2 holsters for it… the most used is an ANR aiwb holster, the second is my bitterroot gunleather holster

Yes it will fit and work fine, sits high up though. I’ve seen them on p01s enough to know they work

This is a custom plate impact machine offers. Much better than the trijicon plate. I have that one on my sp01 and do not like it

Slide work and cerakote, and optic plate was 400 or so but was on a sale deal.
