Great video. Scott and Ashley both spoke about creation and how wonderful it is. Ashley mentioned this is the life we are intended to live. I agree. Just a word of caution to everyone who is passionate about creation; its beauty, diversity, healing qualities...... Be careful not to worship that creation, but worship the Creator and give Him the glory He deserves for blessing us with His creation. There is one God in heaven who created that which we enjoy everyday.

This was great. We are attempting to do something similar here in Australia. This video showcasing a 1/3 acre self-sustaining organic farm is truly inspiring and educational. The dedication and ingenuity demonstrated in creating a self-sufficient ecosystem on such a small plot of land are commendable. It's impressive to see how efficiently the space is utilized, with a diverse range of crops and livestock contributing to sustainability. This model not only promotes organic farming practices but also highlights the importance of local food production and environmental stewardship. It's a great example of how individuals can make a meaningful impact by embracing sustainable living practices.

She can cook the bitter melon in omelette. Taste really good. Google in Fililipino channels :) just saute garlic, onion, tomato, and sliced bitter mellon. In a separate cup add a pinch of salt in scrambled egg. Add the egg in the sauteed vegetables. Optional: add cooked meat.

Lovely. I love my garden and it my favourite place to find peace, fresh air, sunlight and surrounded by nature. But unfortunately this is only possible from May to September. I live in Canada. Thank you for your great contribution. The key to self-sufficiency on a small area is choosing the right animals and a circular economy. Rabbits and chickens are optimal, as is fish. The focus should always be on rabbit meat production. When it comes to chicken breeds, it is important to take very small chickens. Preferably Bantam Bielefelder or Bantam Welsummer. The egg production and size are in no way inferior to the normal breeds, but the animals only need 1/3 of the feed and therefore their cultivation area is only 1/3. The rabbit's cooking waste is important; You need to chop it up and freeze it in ice cube trays. This is the best chicken feed and just the right protein. Instead of mealworms, I would recommend the larvae of the black soldier fly in a crisis. I have created a feed overview of what you can feed chickens and rabbits. However, this is in German as I live in Germany. I freeze any eggs that I don't need for chick feed and for the winter.
