    Thanks Marion! I just made this dish and it was delish. The only tweak was instead of deep frying beef in oil I cooked beef in airfryer after spraying beef with some oil. The beef came out crispy with minimal oil. 😊

    Update: made it last night. Making it again, today. You've just provided me with a new favourite dish!
    I used a bit of all-purpose flour with the starch (just 'cause Guga once compared starch/ all purpose flour / mix of both). Worked for me!
    I used oyster sauce instead of hoisin (just 'cause I wanted to use up the rest in that bottle). Worked for me, too!
    Tonight, I've already mixed together more of that sauce. And I'm gonna add a lot of mungbean sprouts to it, just with the scallions.
    With noodles that I need to use up. It's so fantastic!
    I'm surely gonna use this sauce with other things. Maybe even fish? Don't know. I'm all hyped up! Thanks a ton!

    I used rice flour instead of corn flour and oyster sauce instead of hoisin. Didn't have any sort of juice so skipped that out. My beef was a bit tough though, i think i overcooked it.

    I made this last week, wow, it is so delicious. Marion is right about having small pieces of meat. I was worried they would be dry being so small but they really are a luxurious burst of flavour in your mouth. I served this with a side of stir fried brocolli and cauliflower. Would love to serve it for guests when quarantine is over, its that kind of dish :)

    My wife and I made this dish this evening. A real hit with the kids! Thanks so much! We‘re doing a lot more Asian cooking thanks to your clips. Any tips on how to stop stuff sticking to the wok while I’m stir frying? I’m keeping it well oiled, but cleaning the wok is a nightmare.

    • @Marionskitchen
      @Marionskitchen  Рік тому +1

      Yay!! Happy to help! And if your food is sticking to your wok and you’ve kept it well oiled, then it could be that you’re not heating it up high enough before you add oil and ingredients (this goes for any pan). Make sure the wok is nice and hot (you should see just a little bit of smoke) and then add your oil and then your ingredients 😊
