Rangers are heavily over-spending right now. It will pay off if they can win the league and qualify for the Champions League but that is a huge gamble. Rangers are throwing everything at stopping 10 in a row, and failing to do so could spell doom.

Celtic have already confirmed a top 32 spot in Europa league and the clubs performances show signs they could potentially go further. If Portos recent performances are to go on, it looks likely that even if Rangers advance, they'll be unlikely to topple Young Boys from the #1 seed which should spell danger. Regardless, this might be a super exciting time for Scottish football as Rangers' desperation to topple Celtic before history is made and Celtic are on the path to topple Rangers' trophy count, which is the pride and soul of the club since Administration. As such, it will be interesting to watch. Rangers home loss to Celtic in Sep. was huge. As will the 2 derbys lined up for Dec be.

One thing that's missed out in this video (probably because it would take 40 minutes to get a full explanation of) is revenue share, when I worked at Falkirk FC back in 2010 a big issue for us little teams was that Celtic and Rangers got a massive amount of revenue share for the whole league and it made it hard for us to stay competitive, this just led to the gap getting bigger and bigger.
This led to These teams having their best players bought for a fraction of what they are worth and sat in the reserves for the rest of their contract, this also stunted young prospects careers as well.
Personally I would like to see a shake-up at FA level as most of them are happy just weeding money from Celtic and not having a competitive team at International level, introduce a cap like England do for homegrown players and spread out the revenue share a little more evenly so that lower clubs can invest money into the club.
Rangers fans will claim Tifo has an agenda against the club and these figures are all lies 😂

Rangers haven’t posted a profit in 8 years of existence.
The former Club was Liquidated in 2012 after decades of a similar approach to finances under David Murray.
The Scottish Football Authorities continue to ignore these factors which is quite astounding given the damage Rangers being Liquidated caused to our game.
They are losing money but lots of potential for the future. Once the legal issue with Mike Ashley is sorted the commercial sales will improve and the club will no longer have to pay legal fees. As long as the club continue to do ok in Europe over the long term they will also receive more money like Celtic receive. Finally, you look at the immense fans and if they decided to extend the stadium capacity then it would make more money very quickly.
All the things stated are achievable and realistic. It will take time but if they keep doing what they are doing over the next 5 years I think they’ll start making a profit and can concentrate on investing more to try and assert some authority in Europe.

I'm gonna do my personal best starting XI (assuming everyone is fit) and who I would sell and why. Then I'm gonna do the list of players I think we should buy to improve it, which may also contain options to boost our bench/rotate for "smaller" games. I will list multiple players for a single position. This does not mean I want to buy everyone on this list, it just gives more choice in case one player cannot be done. I hope you all enjoy!

🇮🇱 Bitton - Versatile and been a good servant, but too injury prone for me and another wage less to pay.
🇦🇺 Rogic - Seriously declined in recent time, constantly injured and will have a decent value which we should cash in on. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a great player on his day, but he's a luxury we cannot afford.
🏴 Sinclair - Great player once again, but on big wages (30k+ a week) and lots of competition. If we can even get £1m for him in January and get him off the wage bill, then I would take it especially with his contract up at the end of the season.
🏴 Morgan - Like Hendry, no explanation necessary. Never Celtic quality in a million years and I don't understand why we signed him in the first place.
Now here's the fun part! Players Celtic should sign! 🍀
🏴 Fraser Forster - Pretty obvious. He has everything needed. 6'7, loves the club, BIG game player (no pun intended), phenomenal goalkeeper overall. It's been reported by certain media outlets that Celtic DO have an option to buy. We need to take it. We won't get better.
🏴 Joe Lewis - With my decision to sell Scott Bain and Craig Gordon we only have Forster. Joe Lewis has proved over the years at Aberdeen he is a quality goalkeeper and I'm sure would be happy to take up a 2nd role at Celtic. 6'6, great shot-stopper, knows Scottish football and is definitely affordable. Would be the ideal back up goalkeeper.
🇳🇴 Solberg Meling - Greg Taylor is not Celtic quality and with him being sold that leaves us with one natural LB. I believe Meling's contract will only have 6 months or something like that at the end of the season. He has proved against us on multiple occasions he is a real handful and even scoring at Celtic Park. He is affordable, has European experience and would be a great rival to Bolingoli for that starting LB spot. We won't get better value.
🇭🇷 Filip Benkovic - Benkovic was personally my favourite player in our team during his short time at Celtic. He had everything. He‘s 6’4 and physically strong, has a great tackle on him, he was calm and composed when playing out from the back in pressure situations and he was just all round a fantastic player as well as only being 22 years old! He absolutely LOVES Celtic and even came back to Glasgow recently. I wanted him badly when he was at Zagreb so you can imagine my excitement when I found out we were getting him on loan. Safe to say I wasn’t disappointed! It would be costly but he would be our 1st choice centre back for years to come and we could make big profit on him regardless of what we paid. If I could have any signing on this list, it would likely be Benkovic! We should pay whatever Leicester want and get him permanently!
🇷🇸 Strahinja Pavlović - If we couldn’t afford Benković, then Pavlović would be a great alternative. He stands at 6'4 and is VERY highly rated in Serbia. Pavlovic is left footed which is something we do not currently have at centre back and at 18 years old has INCREDIBLE potential. You can pretty much guarantee that whatever we spend on this boy we would never lose money, and probably make a fantastic profit in a few years. And let's be honest, who doesn't love a hard as f*** Serbian in their team!
🇳🇴 Sander Berge - Sander Berge is 6'5 and a first team, key player for Norway, despite only being 21 years old! He plays for Genk in the Belgium Premiership and would be an absolute wonder singing. Our only problem is that he probably isn't affordable. Liverpool and Napoli have both been credited with interest in the wonder kid, meaning his price will definitely be too much for us. I scouted this boy a year or two ago and have seen him play a few times, always impressing. I will put him in here even though he is likely out of budget, just in case. It is very frustrating though knowing if I was a scout for Celtic we would have signed this boy way before now. I would also love to see us have two 6'5 Norwegian wonder kids in our team! (Due to it being highly unlikely we would be able to afford him I shall not include him in my final XI)
🇰🇪 Victor Wanyama - Like Forster, this is an obvious one. Wanyama is an absolute monster of a player! You all know what you get with him so I won't bother explaining. Victor's deal with Spurs is up in 2021, and with Spurs apparently having a clear out with Wanyama being one of those on the list, Celtic should be able to get him on a cut-price deal. If he was willing to take a drop in wages to get game time this is definitely a deal we should be exploring. His wages and injury record are a slight concern, but if the finances are right we should 100% take the gamble.
🇳🇴 Mohamed Elyounoussi - Elyounoussi has been a revelation since joining on loan from Southampton! He was lethal at Molde and Basel and would be a HUGE coup if we could secure him on a permanent basis. If Southampton were to get relegated from the Premier League this season, they would almost certainly need a clear out to cut the wage bill. With Elyounoussi being out of favour we could possibly be in line for another cut price deal. This is the caliber of signings we need to be aiming for if we are to get back to the Champions League!
🇭🇷 Mislav Oršic - The Croatian is on red hot form for Dynamo Zagreb this season, even scoring a hat-trick in the Champions League at home to Shakhtar Donetsk. He also scored 3 goals in qualifying and a sensational 8 goals in 9 games in the Croatian league this season. Zagreb signed him for a measly 900k last season, so definitely got a bargain. He is also incredibly two-footed which is a phenomenal trait to have. If we didn't get Elyounoussi this boy would likely be equally as impressive!
🇸🇪 Zlatan Ibrahimović - I am well aware this will get a few raised eyebrows from the pessimists, however just let me explain. Zlatan would have loads to gain from signing with Celtic. It would be another big club to add to his hugely impressive CV. He would win more trophies to add to his CV. He would get European football again after Christmas and possibly the chance to play UCL football next year. With Zlatan being a free agent we could afford to use money we would have spent on a fee, to put towards a slightly bigger wage, and with the incredible commercial/merchandise earnings he would bring the club, we would make it back and then some! He also gets the chance to play in one of the biggest derbies in world football. If you look at the teams he is being linked with now, the three favourites are AC Milan, Man United and Bologna. Now, Celtic can offer him European football just like AC and Man U. Bologna couldn't. The card up our sleeve over Milan and United however, is that the likely hood is that both of those teams will NOT be able to offer him UCL football next season. Whereas we will! Not only that, but he's already been at both of those clubs before and he has never been at the same club twice. Maybe he would also fancy a change of scenery? If Bologna are one of the favourites to sign him, I see absolute no reason why we can't! Let's be honest, earning 50/60k a week, winning more trophies, playing in front of 60,000 fans every other week and playing Champions League football at one of the greatest stadiums in the world at 39 years of age isn't exactly something to turn your nose up at! Beats Bologna anyway...

Captain Thirteen I would honestly like to see Ajer in Broonie’s role as he begins to play less and less. He was signed as a defensive midfielder and it’s clear to see he can play that role already. If Ajer moves up to DM I would happily take Benkovic at the back. Another unit with a cool head and a solid eye for a pass. Realistically, we have a good chance to sign players in January given how impressive our form has been in Europe. I think Zlatan might be out of our wage budget and Wanyama will probably look to play in the Champions League this season but I can see us signing Orsic if we don’t get Elyounoussi and it is vital that we sign Forster in my opinion. I also wouldn’t mind another striker to challange Griff when Eddy eventually leaves.
Peter Robinson I’d definitely take McClean. Wouldn’t start but would be a good back up to have and bleeds green and white.

Glasgow Rangers 1872 sorry but thinking like that will keep Rangers & Celtic further and further behind and you can produce the greatest players but they’ll be sold off out out of necessity. They are both sleeping giants that will always sleep in the SPL which has become a Mickey Mouse league for some time.
Ikenna Ijere Kanu IMO it’s the exact opposite as you can track a direct link to weakening of the SPL and the Scottish National Team, more revenue for Scottish Clubs means more investment in youth and better international coaches = a better national team.

Respective FA's are responsible for the granting of european licences and the SFA is corrupt to the core.

If rangers can't stop 10iar then the investors that put in money hoping for player sales like morelos will start asking for a return on their investment to get out while they still can. This is the whole point.

Celtics match day income is bettered by only the big six in England. Celtic have a bigger stadium than four of those six, and average tickets prices are considerably lower in Scotland.

This Rangers club were formed in 2012 so there accounts only started from 2012 and would have to wait until they were 4 years old (2016) to be eligible to play in Europe.When you make a film like this you really have to get your facts right.And also Celtic have only won 8 titles .

That is a terribly naive way of looking at modern football, historically the teams with the biggest financial clout tend to win the vast majority of silverware, with a few notable exceptions! Look at Europe's most elite competition. The champions League has been always won by a team with huge financial backing and that is unlikely to change. That is why many people/ organization view financial doping as a more serious transgression then on the field issues of cheating as it can impact a season or multiple seasons more then any one individual game could.
@@randomdude3146 but everyone associated with the old rangers stated that their tax avoidance scheme and "attracting players they otherwise may not have been able to afford" was of no competitive advantage the pitch. So Celtic having access to more money should be seen in the same light.
