The issue is for english clubs is the lack of understanding how big celtic and rangers are in terms of names Celtic have the 5th biggest football stadium in britian and 7th sporting size of all at max cap 66K Both clubs could attract some serious players with EPL level budgets
Well, the population difference for one. England has about 12 times as many people as Scotland so there's about 12 times as much money available to clubs in England just from the pockets of fans and without TV money. The Old Firm is in a league where the other teams have much smaller fan bases and so the league itself is less attractive to TV companies and big name players. Imagine Manchester City being made to play in the Slovenia league, or some other small European country. Although they would regularly win the league and get into Europe do you think they would continue to attract the investment that they do currently? Over a few years their money would disappear and so would their high profile players. The Premier League teams need each other to maintain each others' attractiveness to big names and big investors, remove them from that league and they would quickly become middle of the road teams say like what happened to Leeds when they went from big spending, high flying, European contenders to near bankruptcy when they lost Premier League status. As for the charity bit , what do you mean? What would the English teams be giving away? Celtic's home average crowd competes with Man U and City and Arsenal. The only thing the Premier teams might give up is that over several years both Old Firm teams would establish themselves as competitors for the European spaces as the Big Six became the Big Eight and I think that is the main reason why the Scottish teams are not already in the English league.
@@asensibleyoungman2978The English don't need to hand out charity by any means. The Scottish league was competitive before TV money ruined football. We have a worse TV deal than England due to a much smaller population and therefore less widespread appeal, compounded with Neil Doncaster, the head of the SPFL, being useless at negotiating TV deals.
There really should be a UK wide Football League system where teams of similar levels around the UK compete with each other. Gives more exposure to smaller clubs and would allow big clubs in Scotland like these a much bigger slice of the pie in terms of finances and exposure. It’s a win win for everyone
I do not want a UK league. As all the Scottish trophies would be relegated to the status of non-league trophies. While all the EngIish trophies would seen as forerunners of the UK trophies. So Man Utd would be seen as having 20 titles, while Celtic, Rangers, and Aberdeen would be regarded as having won none. I would prefer a best of both worlds scenario. Where we keep our Scottish, Welsh, and English leagues. But on top of domestic and European football, we also have extra cross border cups with club sides from Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Ireland, England, North America and France. Cross border cups are the solution. The Scots already allow Welsh and Northern Irish sides in the Scottish Challenge Cup. Let's have 3 strong leagues in Great Britain, not one. I do not want the Scottish clubs to join the EPL, as everyone would think Scotland was in England.
It would ruin scottish football, the league has a old and rich history and all the rivalries would disappear if they moved to different leagues where they didn't play one another. Also, scottish fans would not be able to watch their teams on away days if they played in England as it would be more difficult and expensive. Finally, it would basically take away european football for clubs like celtic, rangers, hibs and aberdeen if they had to finish top of the prem instead of the SPL.
I have an interesting idea! Form a super league with English Top 6 Clubs, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico, Sevilla, Bayern, Dortmund, PSG, Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Napoli, Porto, Benfica, Ajax (20 teams can be slightly changed of course) and play that for 10 seasons in a row! You can add them all to premier league as well to see who wins all the domestic trophies
@@stupiditiusmaximus That might take a bit to create but here's my final proposal: English Premier League teams: Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico, Sevilla, Bayern, Dortmund, PSG, Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Napoli, Porto, Benfica, Ajax Championship: Newcastle, Brighton, Aston Villa, West Ham, Leicester City, Sociedad, Blibao, Betis, Valencia, Leverkusen, Leipzig, Union Berlin, Frankfurt, Gladbach, AS Roma, Fiorentina, Lazio, Sporting CP, Braga, PSV, Feyenoord, Lyon, Monaco, Marseille EFL League one: Remaining Premier League teams (Everton, Forest, Palace, Luton, Sheff Utd, Burnley, Brentford, Fulham, Bournemouth) + Championship teams with previous presence in PL (Southampton, West Brom, Blackburn, Watford, Sunderland, etc) So basically form the top 2 leagues and replace League 1 and League 2 sides with decent English sides that have been left out (You can even include likes of Celtic, Rangers, etc) Finally see who will win PL, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, CL for 10 seasons .... This will be epic!
Once they got the TV money and other funds from the Premier League they would compete in and around the Europa League spots. Just look at their stadium capacities and fan bases. Celtic Park is bigger than the Emirates, Anfield, Stamford Bridge and the Etihad with 60,411 seats. Ibrox is not far behind with 50,817 seats. They have much larger fan bases than teams like West Ham, Brighton, Aston Villa, Everton and Tottenham. People really underestimate just how big the Old Firm are. Both stadiums are famous in Europe for their atmospheres. I've been to both and the hairs stood up on the back of my neck and that was just league and cup games against my team Hibernian. It must be crazy at Champions League games. Messi said Celtic Park was the best atmosphere he had experienced.
When phase 2 is completed this year, Anfield will be bigger than celtic Park. The Emirates is already bigger. If Rangers and Celtic already have bigger fanbases, where are they and why aren't they generating money in the SPL? Your imaginary fanbases are just sitting on their wallets waiting for the English to hand out charity are they?
Video idea: do the same as one of your previous videos, the top 6 from the Premier league to league 2, but then give the 6 clubs a lot of money and see if they can come back!
The only thing I agree with you is that Rangers and Celtic should join the Premier League. Indeed, the offer to join the Championship was muted in 2004 when it was inaugurated, but they didn't do so - that was a big mistake! But their presence now would be the icing on the cake for all clubs in the Premier League. I don't know how you establish their relative positions in your league table, but once Rangers and Celtic got into the Premier League, they would be running with the big -boys. The chances of either team being relegated is very unlikely. But keep the pressure on; the Scottish league is the proverbial "Mickey Mouse" league.
If Rangers and Celtic left the Scottish system then unfortunately most clubs in the Scottish prem would probably collapse. Those teams rely on playing Celtic and Rangers each season, it literally keeps them afloat tbh. For instance when Rangers/Celtic play away from home in the league their fans get about 80%-90% of the stadium, it's pretty much a home game so the clubs get a decent pay day compared to a normal match day when about 20% of the stadium would be filled.
@WetLettuce-kc2qmEspecially rangers 🫣 Rangers been to 2 European finals in the last 15 years mate 😂 For a team in the Scottish league that's unbelievable, It's Celtic who can't buy a win in europe? As for Celtic n Rangers couldn't compete in England well you are way off the mark. Rangers and Celtic have a fan base bigger than most English teams and IF they did manage to play in England and get the riches that come with that then trust me Rangers and Celtic would 100% hold their own in England. The fact that in Scotland teams make literally no money compared to in England and yet Rangers still manage to reach 2 european finals in the last 15 years (Celtic also reached a european final in 2003) is madness. So you need to imagine what they could do if they had the money that goes with playing in England. Reaching European finals isn't easy but the fact both Rangers and Celtic have done it 3 times in 20 years on a shoe string budget compared to the teams they beat along the way gives you a hint of what they could do if they were getting the cash that English teams get. Celtic beat Blackburn and Liverpool on the way to the final in 2003 btw (both English premier league teams at the time) Rangers battered Dortmund on way to final couple of years ago and they had the likes of Bellingham in their team, Only lost in a penalty shoot out in the final. Newcastle have just lost to Dortmund twice, yes it's 2 years down the line but it gives you an idea.
@WetLettuce-kc2qmNo, the finances they get are tiny NOT the clubs. As i said Rangers and Celtic have fan bases all over the world, the likes of Brentford, Bournemouth, Crystal palace etc can only dream of. If Rangers and Celtic got even 2 years of the money the premier league teams get it would be scary.
@WetLettuce-kc2qmLet us also not forget Strachen’s great Jockification experiment at my club Middlesbrough in the mid 2000s. He brought some of the best players of the SPL to Boro who were a Championship club at the time. Included in this influx were all time SPL top scorer Kris Boyd, prolific striker Scott MacDonald, top midfielders Barry Robson and Kevin Thompson and one of the top SPL defenders in Stephen McManus. There were also several other lesser players brought in as well, players like Wilko Flood, Chris Killen and Lee Miller. Pretty much to a man they failed. Horribly. Kris Boyd didn’t even make double figures. Strachen walked away with Boro just outside the relegation zone and his replacement, Tony Mowbray, only just about managed to get us up to mid table that season with the cream of the SPL. We were saddled with a bunch of players who we couldn’t sell and couldn’t cope with Englands second tier. Only Barry Robson emerged with any real credit, the rest of them flopped unbelievably hard. So all of those blind Old Firm fans who think that Celtic and Rangers could compete with the big boys in the EPL need to remember what happened to a bunch of their top players in the second tier of English football.
You repeatedly said that neither Celtic or Rangers didn't win any trophies, but actually the winner of the Championship gets a rather large trophy which you would have seen if you had looked at either clubs history 😢

Apologies if you have done it in another video, but you should have kept tabs on the Scottish Premiership in this video too to see what teams would be winning there too.
@@TsarbucksFC you have raised your point so I'm going to raise my point the Scottish Premiership is a major trophy Celtic and Rangers are Scottish clubs Glasgow to be exact and nutrition is probably kept track of the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup
Idea: recreate the cup winners cup (it was a competition until the early 2000s) all the teams that won there cup (for a example) Man City would be this cup since they won the fa cup or Celtic would be in it since they won the Scottish cup
Fun but obviously not accurate, Celtic have a bigger stadium than most premier league teams, in reality we would probably have to start lower, but yeah the cash injection and the ability to attract top players and coaches we would be challenging for Europe pretty quick, particularly through League or FA Cup as well.
I don't think Sevco would get a license to play in England, they only just got one to play in Scotland not long ago? No pedigree yet, they have only won the league once.
Should Rangers and Celtic go to England, they will have bigger and better player's plus every club in England would need to build another 10, 000 seats for the travelling fans, as these two teams have a massive travelling base.
If Celtic & Rangers had a global fanbase, the SPL would be huge. The fact that it's a tiny league with no big tv deals coming in proves there isn't a global fanbase. there just isn't a worldwide market for Celtic and Rangers. Celtic & rangers just want to leech off the success of the English.
Yo yo clubs let it happen have British league or one British fa and league cups first four rounds lower leagues then after that premier teams enter competition not many would fancy trip at Celtic Park or Castle Grey Scull
If my pub team played in the SPL they would finish 8th place. The SPL is a very poor league. Celtic and Rangers play Ross County 4 times a year. It is league 1 standard at best. At least two teams play on artificial surfaces. (These are banned in the ALL professional leagues in England - even league 2). The attendances are lower than League 2 also.
😂😂 attendance is higher per head of population dopey England has over 10x the population its difficult trying to explain this to thickets like you give the old firm the same money and they wd piss over 90% of your big clubs😂😂
@@scotthendry6298 The only reason why celtic & rangers dominate Scotland is because they have 100 times the spending power of their rivals. Give Ross County, St Mirren and Livingston the same money as Celtic & rangers and the two Glasgow clubs simply wouldnt dominate any more. @WetLettuce-kc2qm No, I'm saying we're already good when it comes to fanbase, we just want the TV money
@@Spr1ggan87 ua-cam.com/video/nRRPuXb1tGM/v-deo.html
This is the size of your global support. You played Sydney in Ange's back yard because the club thought it'd attract a sell-out crowd and look what happened. No one turned up. Interestingly when you played Everton down under the next game, the stadium was almost full. They obviously went to watch Everton not celtic
@@Spr1ggan87 ua-cam.com/video/vmLlYg8bY74/v-deo.html
Celtic playing in your spiritual home of Ireland yet the stadium is only half full. When you played Liverpool in Dublin the stadium was packed and it was 85% red. You Celtic boys grossly exaggerate your fanbase. Just because a town has an irish bar you claim it's a celtic pub. The irish Times did a survey that found the biggest supported clubs in Ireland by far and Man Utd and Liverpool and that among the under 25 year old football fans only 3% support celtic. Your club is shrinking to almost nothing pal and you know it. The CL will only get bigger and that means Celtic will get smaller.
Adding the 4 best saudi teams to the prem would be a good idea
Oooh interesting
Watch Rangers and Celtic have a better spot than Chelsea💀

Apologies if you have done it in another video, but you should have kept tabs on the Scottish Premiership in this video too to see what teams would be winning there too.
Best UA-camr? Yes!
Ayyyyy
Celtic and Rangers are never going to play in the Premier League, especially if Scotland achieves independence.
Independance 9 out of 10 cant even spell the word the scottish national party has been found out as cheats ie missing cash
Heey buddy, how can you simulate a competition that Quick? I have tried, but i cant simulate that fast.
Aberdeen are the last European team to beat real Madrid in a cup final
Do the same with italys top 5
You should have added the Scottish Premiership
We could possibly do that in another video!
@@TsarbucksFC you have raised your point so I'm going to raise my point the Scottish Premiership is a major trophy Celtic and Rangers are Scottish clubs Glasgow to be exact and nutrition is probably kept track of the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup
If this was fc 25 it would be different ☘️ hail hail
CELTIC GLASGOWWW
Can you do an episode on notts county also t
Love the content
Id like to see who won in Scotland without the old firm. Preferably Hearts
Idea: recreate the cup winners cup (it was a competition until the early 2000s) all the teams that won there cup (for a example) Man City would be this cup since they won the fa cup or Celtic would be in it since they won the Scottish cup
Great idea!
How do you switch the teams do you have to use a mod or what?
Thanks I figured out myself
the favt that ea predicyed the cl correct in the first season
Hi tsar, sorry for not watching the previous vids. School is hard and also I got a football tournament starting tomorrow!! I'm captain GK, Any tips?
Arsenal bottling 2 finals on penalties is crazy
Can you do a Celtic video tomorrow
you are the best you get me through so much im also from russia
Man u lets go
Fun but obviously not accurate, Celtic have a bigger stadium than most premier league teams, in reality we would probably have to start lower, but yeah the cash injection and the ability to attract top players and coaches we would be challenging for Europe pretty quick, particularly through League or FA Cup as well.
There should be a uk cup of some sorts
TheRangers are a new club, with only one title.
Is there a way you can give them extra money? Because I honestly think they could compete mid table quite easily if we had the funding the prem has
Madrid and barca in prem?
How are the results calculated?
I don't think Sevco would get a license to play in England, they only just got one to play in Scotland not long ago? No pedigree yet, they have only won the league once.
My club did well
3rd is hood for us
Maybe put All the Scottish clubs in league two + 4 Irish clubs 😂?
Like to see how football would be effected if the prospective Super League clubs were expelled from their leagues.
You should have started them both in league two.
Should Rangers and Celtic go to England, they will have bigger and better player's plus every club in England would need to build another 10, 000 seats for the travelling fans, as these two teams have a massive travelling base.
ua-cam.com/video/lgNMnzSVUPE/v-deo.html
🤣Celtic's average home crowd
so according to fifa celtic and rangers are leeds burnley and sheff utd level
If Celtic & Rangers had a global fanbase, the SPL would be huge. The fact that it's a tiny league with no big tv deals coming in proves there isn't a global fanbase. there just isn't a worldwide market for Celtic and Rangers. Celtic & rangers just want to leech off the success of the English.
I’m Scottish so thank you for this video❤
the merged league of the Hong Kong Premier League and Liga de Elite
Rangers and celtic need to join the premier league make the league 22 teams.
9:45 spurs relegated😂

I want Stade de Reims to win something 🥺
Losing 2 finals in one season on penalties 9-8 and 8-7 is rough 😂😢

@@DonnyGamerYT No I'm not a Celtic or rangers fan I explained it in the above comment
Celtic and Rangers would never have 100 times the spending power of anyone in the EPL. they'd never have more than the big clubs so talk of dominating the EPL is nothing but little man boasting from behind his keyboard. Celtic & rangers = relegation fodder.
I’m a Celtic fan
Who won in the playoff then??
Celtic and rangers are bigger than every other club and I’m not even exaggerating, it’s part of your identity, it literally controls Scotland, the managers of both clubs have bigger responsibilities than the First Minister, also a fact.
Celtic and Rangers are bigger than every other club in Scotland. they're nowhere near the size of the big English clubs.
