Earlier I critiqued this guy for hawking a fix in another vid I felt portrayed a needless product a pair of pliers could match. That was b/f I dealt the coup de grâce on my backpack zip slider. There's no practical way to replace these things without a modular unit since there is usually no block one can remove from the track to remove the slider. So I should eat my words--this product can solve a real problem.

The FixnZip is pretty good about working on zippers with a few missing teeth if that's what you mean. In terms of cost, it depends entirely on the item being repairted. A simple jacket might cost $30-$40. A leather jacket is closer to $80. A tent or large piece of camping get into the hundreds.

I ordered this product a while ago and it completely failed. Didn't bother returning it but every time I tried to use it and repair the zipper on the one compartment of my duffle, it either popped off right away or would not move at all once attached or would move very little and just pop off.

Does this work on zippers that are stuck half way off? Like not caught on anything but goddammit it wonr move and i closed it with my nerf guns in it. Its my grannys bag for my brother and i for trips

I would think you need to remove the original zipper slider. With a tool and then it should work
