It won’t win any OshKosh awards. Lots of rookie mistakes along the way that you would see if you saw it up close., but it works for me... maybe some day I’ll sell it and do it all over again.
Guess I meant it’s kinda like a house flip. That’s a worthy plane to spend the time and money on, I’ve got some time as an instructor in a 210 hp Maule and was really impressed. Just read in Sport Aviation that looking for that last 5% of perfection can make the time double or more. Sometimes perfection is the enemy of perfectly good enough. Thanks for the post, well done, I know vids take some work too!
That was an absolute blast to watch. Thank you for taking the time to document what you did. I too own a 1976 M5 210C.
Well done on the restoration.
Awedsome, congratulations!!!
Beautifully done restoration, thanks for sharing the journey, enjoy your time in her!
Very cool to get walked through the whole process. I know how much work it was.
Gorgeous airplane ... I am envious !
So nice, I couldn’t afford to keep it.
Awesome job, Bruce! Thanx for the video. Safe travels ... ^v^
Bruce, great job!
I didn't know about the broken oil pump shaft, mouse nest, and it losing 75 lbs!
Great airplane, we’ll worth your excellent resto. Like the paint and scheme too!

Great looking airplane! I'm in the process of overhauling my 77 M5 210C right now. Did you go through Maule for the windshield and boot cowl? Thanks.
Doug Hanrahan we ordered the windshield from LP Aero Plastics. Duane Kruise used my old boot call for a pattern and made a new one.
Bruce Emmel Thanks for the info!
Do you mind if I ask how much the total restoration cost?? And the break down.

Why is it for sale?
That 210 Continental is a good engine and same engine that is in the Skymaster (CE-337)
