Gotta love that stall, the RPMs come up quick. Put some 4.30s or 4.56s in it and it'll really help it even more. But if you drive it every day 3.73s are good. My Sierra came stock with 4.10s and even with those I get good mileage.
Fortunately I do not drive it everyday and I would love to install some 4:10’s I’m sure that would wake it up a bit more. It came with 3:73’s from the factory so that’s what it has as of right now !
@@Andregarcia5.0 Even 4.10s is kinda tall with the 4L60E, little better with the 4L80E. My GMC with 4.10s still lugs along in overdrive around 18 or 1900 at about 60. A lot of people like 4.10s though, mabey because im so used to those gears id rather go lower on my Silverado. Only because I don't have to drive it everyday though, if I did 4.10s would be good. But im going with 4.30s or 4.56s. And a stall, not sure which RPM yet, still have to do a cam and intake first.

The 1-2 shift seems soft. You able to log trans slip? I'm not familiar with the 4l65
I don’t have a data logger and I have a 4l60e and yes I need to upgrade my transmission to a built one this one is on its last leg forsure

Yes sir it’s a 5.3 with a btr stage 4 cam
Does turning on towhual and putting it in 3rd help? I never seen anyone do it just curious brotha.
In my particular case it makes the truck not go in to overdrive on WOT as soon as it would if I just left it on drive with no tow haul mode ! Hope this answers your question brotha
